I didn't take the taxi, instead, I walked into the crisp Brooklyn air, a smile on my face. Finally, my life was going to be out of the deep recession it has always been in. Everything might not change, knowing how my life was but at least, I would be able to afford my daily existence and not do menial jobs that pay as little as possible.
