wait am i reading this wrong? shes from the US(mainland) currently in hawaii (a state of the US)....sooo she doesn't need her passport and there is no US embassy in hawaii cause it is part of the US. im confused!!

Great opening! I'm on chapter 7 and just a suggestion is to have a clear sense of who is talking and from whose point of view we are reading would help a lot. Ares POV or Veera POV for example, however I'm excited to read the rest!

Great story line. I agree about the grammar and pronoun use. I am guilty of this too...over use of words. Change the word sly, slyly up. I like the angel element very much. Not seen it told this way before.
