CHAPTER 4: A NIGHT OUT

Aria

I was so happy that I won over that interview and that I get to start my new job in just a few weeks. I had plenty of time to prepare for the hard work that was to come, but for now all I wanted to do was to celebrate.

I had been studying and cramming in all the information that I thought I would need for this job and I am extremely exhausted. I even took extra caution to making sure I remembered everything about my major.

So when I got home, the very first thing I did was call my mom to tell her about the good news I had recieved. She was so happy for me and she was screaming joy all over the phone. My mother has always been proud of me, no matter what I did. I suppose it was because I was never a problem child?

Of course she still had to be strict, by telling me to be careful and stay focused. I learned nothing but the best from her and only her. My mom was and is my very first love.

After the call with my mom, I ended up talking to my best friend Tribel. We had been best friends since middle school and we relied on each other very much. We were always there for each other and always had each others backs.

No one could mess with her without going through me first. There was never anything that she would hide from me and vise-versa.

She suggested that we celebrate as much as we could before I had to return to work within the next few weeks.

However, I'm guessing she didn't really have much to be worried about seeing that she was her own boss and didn't have to answer to any one.

There was once upon a time where I wanted to be my own boss, of course I still do. It really hasn't been a dream for me, I just wanted all the experience I could get before I even placed myself in that kind of position.

Tribel was smart, hot, funny, and daring just like me. She was extremely gorgeous and sometimes I thought she was even more beautiful than I was. That was until she would get mad and curse at me for saying so.

She made a suggestion that we should go to one of our favorite spots, which was the Club. The Club was located downtown right across from the shopping Plaza, where our favorite clothing stores were and the both of us loved to shop.

We never went anywhere by ourselves because she said it was too dangerous for two beautiful women to be out by ourselves.

"Never go anywhere without me girl! We belong together, like that song umm, what's her name?" "Maria-" "Oh yeah, her! So 'this will always be our favorite spot together. Just me and you as besties' Ok?!" and I always agreed with her.

I hung up the phone with her as she said she'd be here in about an hour. How in the hell could she get dressed and ready to go so fast when it took me almost 3 hours just to find something to wear! Either she was a very talented woman or she somehow knew we were going to go out for the night lol.

Like I said, it always took me a long time to find anything to wear, because I always ended up being picky about the dresses. When I finally found what I liked, I also had to shower and do all the necessities of a party night. It took me almost that same hour and more, that Tribel said she'd be here, to get ready and it's only because I had to rush to get things done.

I styled my black curly hair up in a tight bun with little flyaways to add to the style so I didn't look like I was trying to be professional or anything of the sort.

I slipped on a short black bodycon dress with cut out strings in the back and slits up both the sides, while the front of the dress covered up to my chest and neck area. I paired the outfit with diamond ear rings and a diamond necklace, and ended the outfit with tall red and black stilettos.

Tribel would love these since her favorite color was red and I had just brought these two months ago on my last shopping spree.

I was in the middle of finishing up my makeup with lip stick and applying some mascara when I received a text message on my cell from her.

Before I could even send her a reply, I heard a knock on the door and opened it to see Tribel twerking her butt playfully towards the door. She was also dressed in a short red dress but hers was more like a stripper dress, paired with black heels and her hair was in loose curls. that flowed down to her ass.

"OMG! Are we matching too?! How do you know me so well?", she said while we hugged each other.

"Come on out girl! Let's go!" she said waving her hands in the air like she had already started partying by herself. and if this is Tribel we are talking about, then of course I knew better than to ask that question.

"Ok, Ms. Thang, be careful with that." I said as I pointed to her butt, grabbiing my bag and locking the door to my suite. "You're going to give some body's man a heart attack." I said grinning from ear to ear, looking her up and down.

"Not if you give them one first. My job would be done here, and then we could all have a one night stand. If you'd be so grateful my dear." She said laughing and shoving me by the shoulders while we were walking down the hall heading towards the elevator.

When we got to the car but we didn't pull off right away. We sat there a while joking around and talking for a bit before we finally decided it was time to leave because we didn't want to be late. We decided to grab something quick to eat before getting wasted.

When we stopped and thought about it, why not also take a cab together since we were going to be sleeping over tonight at my place once we were done partying?

She thought for a minute and then shook her head and said no. I looked at her like she was crazy, but then again I knew why she said no. Tribel was not a heavy drinker at all. She knew how to hold her liqour and not take it too far. Well, the only one who was probably going to need taking care of was me by the time the night was over.

However, she couldn't argue with me on this. She would have enough trouble trying to handle me and she didn't need to worry about driving too.

I sighed in my head about how many times I had gotten drunk and she was there taking care of me, not that she minded but I always had to treat her to Starbucks once everything was all said and done.

I had more than enough room in my suite to house about five or more people. I guess that's why I was so lonely here at times and I was always glad to have company.

Don't get me wrong, I was always grateful for the peace and quiet I had, but it was just too much space in that suite for me to always be by myself.

Tribel waved her hand for a cab once we saw one in sight and then waited for it to stop for us and got in . The cab driver offered us drinks, which of course we declined, honestly because we didn't know what the hell was in that damn bottle he had.

The cab driver finally pulled off towards the highway, heading towards down town.

I am always thankful for Tribel because without her, I would've went downhill a very long time ago. I had been through so much that even if I spoke about it and 'let it go' as people would say, it still somehow found a way to break me and cause me trouble down the line.

Like I said, there was nothing that Tribel was incapable of not doing, I love this girl and I wouldn't give her up for anything in the world.

Tribel wanted to make sure that this celebration was a night for the books and that I enjoyed every single minute of it. This girl could always get me drunk off of a tall glass of margarita and a good time.
