FIGHT!

Alpha Jack:

We both nodded in agreement, as he went back into the shadows to watch the glorious show about to begin. We found our way to our tent, taking my place on the raised platform.

“Welcome fellow fighters to Demon Wolf Clan to partake in this Fighter’s Championship. You may have asked why. Well, seeing how we all have one thing in common, fighting, what better way than to showcase the fighting skills of our surrounding neighbors?”

“I, Alpha ‘Bloodless’ Jack will make this worthwhile. To the victor, a position in my Elite Warrior Army. Ten of my top warriors have been entered in this fight, do not take them lightly for they have been trained to kill or be killed. This is a ‘no mercy’ fight unless I see fit. For all side betting, a five percent house payment is required. Any problems with that, then you may leave, if not, let us get this underway.” I stood there for a few moments looking around at the crowds, the fighters, and trainers.

Titan stood out among them with his smug face, chest puffed out as if he had already won. When he turned to proceed back to their staging tent, a beauty graced my sight.

She was staring into space, no emotion displayed, just pure bloodlust. Her ebony hair in a high ponytail swayed as she turned to follow Titan with her long lean legs, barefooted.

Huh. Natural I thought. Her spandex shorts gripping her ass, defining the heart-shaped wonder, taut back muscles twitching, flexing against the material of the black tank top.

“Fuck! She’s a Goddess.” Goki roared, causing me to laugh. “That must be the fighter Eli was talking about.” I replied nodding.

“There is something about her…I cannot smell her.” Goki sniffed. “Yes, you’re right. It might be the other scents around her.” Smelling the air. “Let us see what she can do.” Goki stated, taking his spot again in the shadows.

I turned taking my seat next to Eli as Seth handed me a glass of whiskey. Eli flashing me an evil smile, leaning forward. “You saw her?” He smirked nodding towards the staging tents.

“Yes, I did. She doesn’t look to be much stronger than most, but we will see.” Smirking, sipping my whiskey side glancing Eli.

“She is number four to fight.” Eli leaned back into his chair, folding his arms across his chest.

Watching in disappointment as the first three fighters succumbed to my warriors.

No surprise, seeing they barked more than actually bit. Everyone knew my warriors were no joke.

The clinking of chains caught my attention as Rocko, my fourth ranked warrior, entered the arena. Rocko was solid muscle, but don’t let that fool you.

He was fast and silent. If I ever needed something done quietly, he was the one I sent. I felt bad that he was paired up against our little female, but this was a good opportunity to see what she could actually do.

Rocko nodded his head towards us, receiving a nod back, while he took his position to the right of the ring. The crowd gasping. Whispers spreading as she entered the ring. Same stone facial expression as earlier.

Small beads of sweat shimmering under the setting bayou sun. The humidity was stifling, but she stalked gracefully to her spot, rolling her neck, flexing her fingers, balling her hands into fists then relaxing.

“She looks like a trained killer.” Goki laughed with a dark grunt. I nodded in agreement.

“FIGHT!” Eli boomed.

Rocko made the first move, slamming his fist into her side. Showing no signs of pain, she wrapped her hands around his head jumping up, smashing her knee into his jaw.

Rocko stumbled backwards as she took the opening to take a running slide between his legs. Landing a punch to the inside thigh, kicking his knees from the back, bringing him down to one knee.

Rocko swung around grabbing her leg, slamming her to the ground, laying calculated punches to her ribs and sides. She maintained holding her arms in a defensive blocking, stopping Rocko’s fist holding it still as he threw his other fist, resulting it being held in place.

She flashed a sinister smile, slamming forward crushing Rocko’s nose. Blood gushed, streaming freely down his chin onto her chest, another hard head-butt sent Rocko staggering back enough so she could shove him back with her feet.

“Damn! She’s tough.” Eli laughed glancing at me.

I nodded not taking my eyes off her movements. Rocko growled extending his nails, snickering as he took his position to attack.

“Come on Big Guy, show me what you got.” She laughed amused taking two steps back, extending her nails, cracking her neck. That was when I saw the flash of her eyes.

“Silver eyes.” Goki yelled. “Can’t be. It was just a dream.” I exhaled looking closer at her. Rocko released a low grumbling growl, before slashing at her chest side stepping, blood seeping slowly from the claw mark trickling down her arm.

She swung her hand upwards, catching his chin as he stepped backwards not paying attention as she slashed with her other hand across his upper thighs. Rocko threw a hard-forward kick to her chest, knocking her backwards, stopping mid-slide with her nails spinning around running straight at him full speed.

Fuck! She’s fast.

She unleashed blow after blow, slash after slash, using his legs as she jumped up wrapping her legs around his neck, plunging her nails into both sides of his ribs. Rocko hissed out in pain as blood pooled out from his wounds. She was tightening her grip around his neck, getting ready to finish him off.

“Jack, should we stop her?” Eli leaned over asking with an amused eyebrow raised.

“Rocko is one of our best assassins.” I laughed nodding.

“ENOUGH!” I roared.

The crowd lowered their heads, looking shocked.

She slowly turned her head with an evil smile, still latched around Rocko’s neck as he slowly dropped to his knees. She jumped off staring down at him, blood pooling down his sides painting his tan skin crimson. He started laughing.

“You are one tough Bitch.” He whispered, gaining an iron backhand across his face. Watching as Rocko dropped to his hands panting. Giving me a big smile.

“He approves of her.” Seth laughed looking over at Eli and me.

“What is your name fighter?” I asked hiding my smile. Her eyes flashed silver then relaxed to the gray-blue with green flecks, panting to calm her breathing.

“MEI!” She exclaimed looking between Eli, Seth, and me. She was sizing us up.

“Mei, I like it. I like her.” Goki smiled.

“Very well. I stopped you from killing one of my Elites. Be proud of yourself.” I boomed crossing my arms over my broad chest. She turned on her heels, throwing her hand up walking out of the arena.

She just walked away from us, not giving one more glance, her eyes fixed straight ahead. I watched as the other warriors bowed their heads at her approach, before she disappeared into the staging tents.

“Eli, go invite her to dinner with us tonight.” I said turning to Eli before taking my seat. Seth nodding with a smile, handing me another whiskey.

“Make sure she is well taken care of. Have one of the female fighters accompany her.” Swirling my amber colored drink, watching as the waves left ghost trails on the glass, before taking a swig.

“As you wish brother.” Eli smirked evilly. Standing up, sprinting away through the crowd.

“She didn’t look like she wanted to stop, Jack.” Seth leaned forward side glancing at me.

“Yes, but she also held back when Rocko called her a ‘bitch’. Did you not see the way her body tensed?” I smiled looking at Seth nod his head.

“Titan has indeed provided a very good fighter, one that I am willing to keep.” I laughed taking another swig of my whiskey.

We watched as the fights proceeded with a couple close calls but my men found the resolve to stand and win.

My mind was on Mei, that stone emotionless face.

What secrets are you hiding?
