Bound - Part I

The blackness engulfed her thoughts. Stretching out in front of her like a map, the unknown studied her fears, her courage and knowledge. Taking tentative steps the infinite exposure of the human flesh dawned. There was no life here. That was simple, no thriving population, no signs of past living. The darkness had overcome any sense of purity, consumed all hopes of cleanliness and had wiped out. She was getting tensed more like nervous and scared a feeling that never dared to touch her. She ran around looking for any sign of life, nothing! She was scared a feeling she never knew she had. She cried out loud, screaming on top of her lungs. Darkness has swallowed everything. Darkness destroyed everything she knew. Everything is gone, everyone is gone. Except her! Why is she still there!

"Because you are the darkness." A faint low voice came like a whisper brushing through her.

"No!" She screamed

"You destroyed everything!" A small shadowy figure made its way towards her.

"No, I didn't."

"You destroyed everyone!"

"No! Stop!" She screams covering her ears

"Everything is gone, but you will be here alone. And I will follow you reminding you of what you are."

"No!" She screamed out loud opening her eyes drenched in her own sweat engulfed by the darkness of her room. She immediately turned on the light making her way to the bathroom of her small house. She splashed cold water on her face reminding herself it was a dream! It was just a dream!

She was back in her bed after changing her clothes and a cold shower. She was twisting and turning unable to sleep. She looked at her watch, it was 3 in the morning. She had gone to bed only an hour ago and was already up. She sat down and sighed. After a while getting down from the bed she made her way towards her walk-in closet and came out after a while in some sports bra and shorts. She had already put her hair up in a messy bun and now she was standing in front of her punching bag letting out all the anger frustration out. Before half an hour the punching bag gave in burst out spilling all the sand it had inside on the floor. Then she went to her storage, took out another punching replacing the one that had given up. One after another punching bags were giving up she was replacing them throughout the night and there was a huge pile of sand.

Before she could know, new white rays shine through the window and curtain just the same, showing the beauty of the many tan hues that weave together to make the fabric she loves so much. The browns are as varied as sand dunes at dawn, as pretty as the lightest of wood carried ashore upon windswept waves. Amid the light she sees the beams as if they wave with the undulating pleats, yet in truth they are strong and true, giving structure and form. As the moments pass the intensity rises and soften, bold and gentle, telling of the day that passes in the world beyond. She finally leaves the punching bag alone letting it live till next time.

She was sweating, tired and exhausted. She lets out a deep breath and walks towards her bathroom opening her hair and stripping off her clothes. She stands under her shower letting the cold water fall and washes away everything. She washed her hair cleaned herself properly and got out of the shower wrapping a fluffy towel around her naked form while drying her hair with another one. She blow dried her hair and went into her closet coming out soon wearing a black and white polka dot puff sleeve organza mini dress with crystal buckle with open-toed black suede wedge sits atop an almost 4-inch arched platform. A soft suede strap can be laced up the calf or tied up the ankle for a versatile look.

She stood in front of her full-length dresser and applied a burgundy matte lipstick and accessorized it with a black choker. She put her long red hair in a messy bun, took her clutch and went out of her house. She took her car from her garage and made her way out of the house. Without any destination, she kept driving.

She lived in the human side of the world away from supernaturals and her identity. She found human quite fascinating. They lived their lives to the fullest without any worries, loved and helped people even if they weren't from their territory like wolfs, vampire and witches who would kill you even if you go near their border. Though not every human being was a good person. Well, every creature has its dark side now, don't they?

After a few hours of endless roads, she finally had to stop in an unfamiliar place because her beast was getting restless inside her mind. Her beast hardly ever interacted with her but when she did it always ends up in chaos and that's the last thing she wanted right now. She didn't wish to stop here because the moment she took a turn into this road her nose was hit by strong smells of wolfs and lycans. She parked her car in front of a cafe and masked her scent, now she smells like nothing, the supernaturals will think her to be human but the moment she leaves her scent will disappear. Usually, when she's out to assassinate someone she masks her scent like no one could ever smell her. This is one of her gifts. Keeping her hidden from everyone. She walks into the small cafe and it was filled with werewolves and lycans.

She is now sitting at a corner table alone with a cup of coffee. It's been more than an hour at her beast is still restlessly pacing in her head. At this point, she is worried thinking about what's wrong. She tried to leave a couple of times but her beast won't let her leave. She was getting frustrated among all these werewolves and they were giving her weird looks thinking about what 'human' is doing here all alone. She finished her 3rd cup of coffee when her beast started jumping up and down howling in joy inside her head. In her 421 years of a lifetime never did her beast behave like this she thought. That's when the most intoxicating scent hit her nose hard, it was cinnamon with a hint of freshly mowed grass and the scent of soil after rain. She was feeling dizzy how powerful that scent hit her and engulfed her. She seemed to not get enough of it when cafes door opened and the owner of the scent came in, he was the most gorgeous man she had ever land her eyes on. He had brown hair and striking blue eyes with a gorgeous smile planted on his exquisite lips. He was well built, his ripped muscles were hiding under his black tee. Her beast was howling and pushing her to go to their mate. Her eyes were still fixed on him, the word mate was about to leave her lips when a woman with blood hair wearing extremely tight and short red dress linked her hand into her mates arms whispering things into his ears and laughing about some intimate jokes. Her beast was growling inside ready to tear down that girl limb by limb for touching their mate. She was feeling overwhelming anger inside her that's when that girl planted a kiss on his lips. She stood up taking her bag ignoring her beasts begging to let her out so that she can tear up that bitch in pieces. She walked towards the exist and the exquisite smell was getting stronger and stronger, her eyes were fixed on him that's when their eyes met. His blue eyes where looking straight into her hazel ones. She gave a small smile and drifted her gaze to the exist and left.
