Chapter 5

"Kill him."

He hadn't seen this coming, hadn't expected it at all, at least not this way.

He had always thought his cára would be one of the official's daughters and was just waiting for the sextuplets to turn seventeen so that he would be sure which was his future Luna.

He definitely did not expect his cára to be someone he has never heard of or seen judging by her beauty, regalia, composure, and silent demeanor. He almost believed what does crazed fellows who refer to themselves as scientists say about another world the same as ours but very different in its entirety because this enchantress must have fallen from there.

When he had made her acquaintance for the first time he had been baffled by her. We're she a human she would have cowered in fear at the events that had happened or at least show some sign of bewilderment, and if she were a werewolf she would have immediately felt the mating bond as he had, but from all signs, she didn't feel a single thing -except scorn may be- toward him till when they made body contact while he slipped the ring he had had with him ever since he was born onto her finger.

It was only one thing he was sure of and that she must be of noble blood because Alpha's cannot mate with common blood. Judging from what happened earlier at the palace she must be a relation to either the old Alpha or the new one.

It wasn't a coincidence that he was at the spot where those drunken fools stopped her, but then again he couldn't say he knew what he was doing when he went there.

A dream. Ciara his female and only best friend would laugh at that. 'So that was your unfinished business? The Alpha of blue moon pack led by a dream, why we should give you that baptism you never got at your birth and rename you, Alpha Joseph.' She would say. And she would be right what kind of Alpha would he be if he lets silly dreams dictate his life. But a voice inside him that refused to be quiet whispered, and he knew the voice was right, it wasn't an ordinary dream.

Flashback.

As was his usual morning routine when naught was amiss the Alpha of blue moon pack Alexander took a turn around the palace regions. He sometimes assisted in breaking in the rogue werewolves they caught wandering too close to the pack. Rogue wolves are wolves that have either been exiled or their packs were destroyed. Normally any rogue wolf caught was immediately killed but Alexander realized that those who were born into it and those whose packs were destroyed didn't really have a choice so decided to help them by breaking them in - weakening their fight instincts by having a pack soldier fight with them - and after they can think properly they are asked if they want to join the pack if yes they train and guide them through proper behavior and if no.... much to his dismay they have to be killed.

He helped them with the breaking in from time to time with the reason of helping out even though Ciara teased him saying he secretly just wanted to maintain his good body physique.

As he headed to the break-in area he heard a lovely feminine voice call out to him. Captivated by the voice he immediately headed towards the direction to find out its owner. He stopped short as he saw a blazing fire the heat emanating from the fire was so hot that from his distance of five yards it felt like he was an inch away from touching the fire.

"Come closer."

The voice which seemed to be coming from the fire beckoned.

As he obeyed and moves closer the heat seemed to lessen and he kept going closer until he found himself in the fire which was surprisingly not burning him.

He found himself face to face with a beautiful angelic face he had never in his life sighted.

"Save my daughter. Find her in the forest and help her. She's stubborn but don't let that deter you. Please help her. She needs you."

All too suddenly she disappeared and she seemed to be the force that kept the flames from burning, for as soon as she was gone the flames started to attack him.

He woke up sweating heavily, the bedlinen soaked through and he wondered what kind of dream it was.

And that was how the annoying Ciara found him.

"Did our high and mighty Alpha wet his bed?"

She asked amidst poorly controlled laughs.

"What do you want?"

She immediately straightened up and put on a professional facade.

"The messenger you sent to Antarti pack to offer condolences on the loss of their Alpha and ask to renew the treaty with the Alpha of the new pack, is ready to leave."

He remained silent for a moment.

"I have an unsettled business along that area. I'll relay the message myself."

She quirked a brow resuming her annoying mode.

"Your Beta and I handle the Alpha's schedule. And the Alpha does NOT have any unfinished business."

He stood up and walked towards her.

"Well as you and your husband are not the Alpha. I suggest you add it on the Alpha's schedule as per the Alpha's orders that the Alpha has unfinished business.

Now if you'll excuse me I also like the Alpha has unfinished business to tend to."

She sighed and walked out of the room.

Present time

But then again he didn't feel completely stupid since the dream had brought him to his enchantress.

He smiled.

His enchantress was a little bit too determined to get rid of him.

Before he took his next step he found himself on the floor surrounded by three men whom he recognized from the Antarti pack palace.

He corrected himself, she was a lot more determined to get rid of him.
