CHAPTER 5

I REJECTED YOU REMEMBER.

Alpha Kane loved the brain rush he was getting after emptying the glass of scotch on the rocks. Finally, he managed to get Ava Rose out of his mind.

He went back to his room to prepare himself for the dinner that was being prepared for him and the soon to be Luna, Cynthia Rose.

He slowly got rid of his clothes and got into the shower.

He ran his hands through his spiky hair as the warm water cascaded down his perfectly sculpted chest and his six packs that begged to be touched. He fantasised the first day that Ava saw him, his physique alone made her heart skip a mighty beat. She fell for him instantly. She couldn't stop drawing circles on his chest and resting her head on it when they were together.

Also thanks to his muscles, he was able to pin her against the bark of trees as they made out in the wild. He did not get tired of holding her and putting her in position as he moved in and out of her because of how strong he is. In fact, he is the strongest man in the pack and many ladies throw themselves at him. Ava is lucky though that he only has eyes for her. Heck, the thought of him fucking Ava was enough to turn him on. He tried to relax his erect lengthy shaft by rubbing on it gently. He missed her. He missed how Ava used to moan his name as she climaxed and how she allowed him to be in control. Damn. He missed her. However, he needed to stop.

He promised himself that this was the last time that he was going to think about her. He should be thinking about her sister Cynthia and not her. He should be thinking of wild sex with Cynthia and not her.

Ava looked at herself through the mirror and she loved what she was seeing. She had dressed to kill. With the red lingerie under her dress, she told herself that her little plan will go on well. She must get her man back.

She wore sneakers because she had some climbing to do.

On her way out, she realised that Cynthia was also dressing up.

"I can see that you took my advice well. Anyway, I was only joking. Beta Ian hates you because you are a nosy Nancie. The two of you will never be together," She told Cythia who was deciding between a red dress and a yellow dress.

"Why are you dressed like a ratchet though? No man would want to be with a lady like you in public. No wonder you always meet up with him at night," Cynthia countered and it hurt Ava.

"Fuck you!" She cursed before she walked out of the house.

As she went to Alpha Kane's room through the secret passway that Alpha Kane had shown her earlier on when they started dating, she could not help but think about what her sister had told her. Could it be true that Alpha Kane kept their relationship a secret because he did not want to be seen with her?

Ava quickly shoved those thoughts aside. She had a mission to accomplish tonight and she did not want her sister to be in her way. She was going to deal with her later. For now, she must focus on the prize.

She must get Alpha Kane back. The rejection was a mistake and she must remind him that.

Ava Rose used the secret passage that landed her in Alpha Kane's room. Alpha Kane was in the bathroom singing about how he could not remember to forget her and this made Ava very confident with what she was about to do. She quickly removed her dress and remained with the red lingerie. Pausing seductively on the bed, she awaited Alpha Kane to come from the bathroom and see her.

From the bathroom, Alpha Kane heard her sweet scent and this got him worried. He crossed his fingers that Ava would not be in the pack house. He did not want her to ruin anything for him. If she does then they are going to have very big problems. If she comes between him and the pack then it will affect their love.

Alpha Kane hurried out of the bathroom in anger but when he saw her with only red lingerie on, his anger disappeared completely as his emotions took over.

"Fuck me!" Ava ordered him as Alpha Kane raked her body hungrily as he ran his tongue over his lower lip.

His wolf was already excited.

Ava was so damn sexy and Alpha Kane could not resist her. He grabbed her hips roughly in his hands and slammed back inside of her from behind after removing the laced pants that she had been wearing.

Ava moaned loudly and Alpha Kane could not care about her loud moans at this moment. He did not care if someone would hear them or not because he was so excited to get into her.

He started pounding into her...giving it to her hard and rough. Ava was enjoying every second of it by the sounds of the screams and the curse words falling from her lips. Alpha Kane pulled out, pushing back in with force.

"Fuck! Yes, like that! Right there!" Ava called out, pushing her ass backwards as he came forward, burying himself deep inside her.

"Shit! Ava, you feel so good wrapped around me!" Alpha Kane moaned as he bit her neck, making her moan and yelp.

They moved in sync with one another. He could feel her walls clench and release around him. She was close and he could tell. Her moans were getting louder but the body was becoming weaker with every second.

"Alpha Kane, I am gonna... ooh fuck don't stop," She cried out, and soon enough she released herself over his length, her body shaking as he held onto her. Her orgasm was ripping through her.

Alpha Kane managed one...two...three more thrust, a loud werewolf growl coming from his lips as he came, his orgasms taking over. He helped them ride their highs, before Ava fell flat on his king size bed and his body fell beside hers.

His room was filled with heavy breathing and loud pants as they tried to allow their bodies to calm down.

"I can see that you have already taken me back as the soon to be Luna of the pack. I knew that you did not mean anything that you said concerning the rejection," Ava stated as she tried to interlock her fingers with his but that is when Alpha Kane got to his feet leaving her all by herself. This made Ava feel so confused.

They had just had a good time. Why was he acting strange?

"I made myself clear. I really don't know why you decided to come up to my room," Alpha Kane said as he wrapped a towel around his body. He definitely needed a second shower. He was not going to meet with Cynthia while reeking with vaginal fluids.

"But you enjoyed the sex, didn't you?" Ava asked in a shaky voice.

"I did, but that does not mean that I am going to take you back. I have already made my decision. You are not going to be the Luna of Midnight pack, I reject you as my lover" Once again, Alpha Kane dropped the bombshell.

An unbearable pain bubbled up Ava's intestines leaving her feeling weak and rejected.

Slowly, she tried to get up but quickly realized how futile it was when she had to bite her lip to keep from crying out. Sharp pain lanced through her head and colorful spots flashed in front of her eyes, it felt like her whole body had been beaten and every movement caused some muscle or bone to ache.

"Why are you doing this to me? What wrong did I do to deserve this?" Ava asked.

" I don't want you as my Luna. That is all. I am going on a date with my soon to be Luna a few minutes from now. So, please excuse me. I need to shower again and dress up because time is not on my side,"Alpha Kane announced and Ava felt as if her heart had been stabbed with a thousand sharp swords.

Ava thought that she was coming here to fix things but that is not the case. Things are even worse.

"You know what, I am not going to accept the rejection. I am going to tell everyone in the pack that we were secretly seeing each other!" Ava threatened.

"Listen Ava, don't test me. Let me warn you, don't ever tell anyone that we have ever dated. If I ever hear of that, I will shred your body to pieces. Remember, I am the only person in this pack who has werewolf powers. So please, don't push me!" Alpha Kane threatened and Ava broke down. Anyway, Alpha Kane was done with her.

Alpha Kane was angry at Ava for failing to take the rejection yet he was doing this for the pack. Alpha Kane regretted dating her because she was a selfish person.

"You will regret this!" Ava chucked in between sobs.

"I will regret nothing. You are a selfish person. What is there to regret?" Alpha Kane laughed a little, hurting Ava even more.

"I will make you pay for this!" Ava warned.

"You are so weak. There is nothing that you can possibly do. Go now! I am tired of your drama. I need to get ready for my date with the most decent girl in the pack!" Alpha Kane bragged.

"Who is she?" Ava tearfully asked.

"You will get to know of her in the public announcement that I will make later tonight. For now, just know that she is someone that you love so much. In fact, you will be happy for her. " Alpha Kane promised her.
