Chapter 2

Blane Samuel

"Who's that?" I turned to see my twin asked

"Don't know"

"Why are you looking at her then?" He asked and I shook my head. I walked back inside and Brooklyn followed me inside.

"When will you move back to LA?" Brooklyn asked

"Soon" I answered

"Cheer up dude, it's been 8 months" He said and I turned to him

"Easy for you to say, I love her!" I hissed coldly and my eyes landed on the girl that broke my heart. My heart hurt when I saw her with Dylan.

Lauren came with Dylan along with others. They looked around and Lauren's eyes met mine. She smiled at me and I looked away.

I bet they're coming into our way and I hate to say this. I want to kill Dylan Lemiere so much.

"Hey buddies" Matt said and I hugged him briefly

"Hey" I said and my eyes landed on Lauren. Gosh I miss her so much. It kills me seeing her with someone else. Dylan already gave me a big glare and there's this thick tension between us.

"Hey Blane" Lauren greeted and I just nodded. I kept my distance from her and it still hurted me to see her with Dylan laughing, kissing, hugging and just be together. I hate it

"Hey" I turned to see Lauren stood beside me alone without Dylan around

"Isn't it better for you don't to talk to me?" I asked

"You still hate me" She stated

"It's weird, if I'm not"

"I'm sorry Blane, I really am" She said in a really sad tone

"You know I'm still waiting right?"

"Don't wait for me, I love Dylan" That hurted me

"I don't want to get killed tonight" I looked at her and she nodded lightly. I walked away from her to the corner where Aiden and Marco stood

"You okay?" Aiden asked

"My sister again, isn't it?" Marco asked

"Let's don't talk about it" I said and they both started to ask me about work. It helped me a little to distract my head. Suddenly my eyes landed a bracelet on the floor, I kneeled down taking it.

It has a CM initial on it, I put it in my pocket and am going to tell the worker here to keep it so they can return it to the owner if she's looking for it.

"We're going to LA to take a week break from work, wanna join us?" Archer asked

"Why ask when you know I won't come?" I hissed at them and suddenly Dylan joined us. I swear I don't want to breath the same air with the guy

"Good thing that you know your place" He said coldly and I turned to him

"At least I'm not the guy who stole someone from the relationship" I said coldly at him and ready to kill the guy in front of me

"Wow wow no fighting guys, the last fight was enough" Axel pulled Dylan away

Last time we fought, both of us almost died. Falling in love with the same girl sucks and it ruined our friendship. I still love Lauren and I can't believe she got back with me and dumped me not long after that.

"We make mistake Blane, that's why I suggest you not repeat it in the future" Matthew said

"I'm outta here" I gave my glass of champagne to my twin and walked out from the ballroom. Suddenly someone grabbed my wrist, I turned to see Lauren

"Blane, let's talk"

"I don't want to talk to you anymore, just get lost Lauren. Is Dylan not enough?" I asked coldly and I bet that words hurt her

"Look, I deserved that but please forgive me. You avoided me for the last 8 months and can we please be mature and-"

"Just get lost Lauren" I walked away not wanting to see her right now. I hate this feeling. I fucking love her. I got into my car and decided to go home.

On my way to my house, I kept thinking about Lauren, Lauren and Lauren. It sucked so bad to see her in someone else's arms. I regretted big time when I broke up with her and decided to get back after 1.5 years not seeing her.

I was too late.. someone got her

I stopped my car when the traffic lights turned red. I sighed and kept blaming myself for this. I looked around and my eyes caught the red dressed girl from earlier. She walked out anxiously from a cafe. She kept looking back and forth. She walked across the zebra cross in front of me.

I turned to the cafe and saw 2 men walking towards her. I got out from the car and snatched her. She screamed and I pulled her into my car. I turned to the 2 men and glared at them.

"Get in" I said to her and she was pulling her hand from my grip too. I bet she was afraid that I was acting like the 2 men who were after her

"No please.." She begged and I turned to her

"Trust me, I'm saving y-"

"Let me go, I beg you" She begged in a really scared tone

"Let her go, we saw her first!" The 2 guys said and I pushed the girl inside my car. I changed the door setting and locked her inside. I walked to those men and punched them quickly. I saw the traffic light turned green and quickly got inside the car.

I stepped on the gas as soon as possible

"Please don't hurt me, I'll give you anything jus-"

"Where's your house?" I cut her

"Just drop me anywhere, I'll call my chauf-"

"I said where's your house?" I cut her again piss

"I don't trust you" She said mumbling and I sighed. I pulled up to the side and unlocked the door. I turned to her and she started to look around. She turned to me and her eyes widen

"I'm sorry" She said and then she opened the door getting out from the car. She called someone and I decided to wait for her car to come to make sure that no one will try to chase her again

I'm concerned about her because I have a sister. Imagine if my sister was in her position. I can't take it so I decided to help her. I never helped a random stranger like this before and I don't know what made me have that urge to help her earlier.

I looked from my side mirror to see her standing anxiously waiting. She looked around and I saw a big cut on the back of her arm. I got out of the car and she looked at me with a suspicious look.

I pointed at the back of her arm and she looked at it. Her eyes widened and I opened my car door taking tissues from the drawer. I walked to her and started patting the blood from her arm.

She just looked at it and sighed

"What happened?" I asked

"They almost raped me" She answered

"Next time cover your body, this dress isn't appropriate" I said and she took the tissue from my hands patting it herself

"Thanks for helping, you saved me 2 times today. I don't know how to repay you" She said

"No need to repay, I helped you because I want to," I said as I looked at her blue eyes. Suddenly her car arrived and she smiled widely seeing it

"Thankyou for today, maybe one day I can repay you"

"No need to repay"

"No, I want to. Thanks again for helping. It means a lot to me" She smiled as she walked to her car and I nodded

She looked at me one more time and then got into her car. Her car left and I looked down to my hand. There's a little drop of her blood in my hand and I wiped it with the tissue.

I walked back into my car and drove home
