Couple Restaurant

Annah Jule

—slam!

The class that was ongoing suddenly went quiet.

Her messy hair and the parted lips of hers made everyone gape up and down at her.

Turning around to take a look at who it was, the professor was astonished.

Her eyes blinked wide in astonishment.

"Jule?"

She frowned before checking the watch on her wrist.

Jule immediately bowed.

Her hand pushing back the long hair of hers, she closed her eyes.

Shit, I'm so late.

Gulping, she heard a hum of agreement.

Hurrying towards her empty seat at the back, Jule was quick to take her notes out.

But when she felt everyone's eyes upon her, her body froze.

Looking up at them as they immediately looked away, Jule slowly turned straight in her seat.

She gulped.

Hard and dry.

She can feel everyone's eyes on the dress she was wearing.

Her thighs on view, she was wearing a pencil skirt along with the white shirt that she tucked in, with a black coat on—jule's breath was heavy which only made her chest heave up with the breath she took.

Hesitantly fanning her face, she avoided their eyes, continuing to note down whatever the professor was explaining.

But when she felt someone sneak beside her, Jule's eyes widened.

"Spill the tea."

Jule scratched the back of her neck as she tried to avoid Mika's questions.

Mika frowned before whining quietly.

"Can you not? Stop avoiding me and tell me why you're wearing such a se-"

"Mika! Quiet!"

"U-uh what? Am i still in high school or what?"

Everyone started to laugh and the professor rolled her eyes.

"Quiet. That's it!"

She yelled before rubbing off what she wrote upon the board.

Jule suppressed the smile that almost slipped off her lips before Mika nudged Jule's arm.

"Is it a date?"

And the bell rang.

Jule took a deep breath before pushing her notes in her small bag.

"Oh c'mon, don't avoid me—"

"Good morning, Jule!"

Mika froze.

Jessica's squealing voice echoed in the emptying class and Mika turned her head around to look back at her Jule froze.

Not evening glancing up to take a look at her, Jule took her phone out.

"Seems like you're going somewhere~~?"

Mika tried to not roll her eyes before she looked at Jule who walked past both of them, flipping her long hair behind and Jessica's grin made Mika slam her book on the bench.

"Move."

Mika forced a smile that looked pretty cunning and Jessica rolled her eyes, getting off her way.

Mika walked past her, shoulders bumping hard.

Glaring in front, Mika could feel Jessica's glare on her back.

"Hey! That hurts!"

A chuckle, Mika turned her head.

"Aw, it does?"

Jessica furiously clenched her fists.

"What a pity."

The grin fading away, Mika eyes Jessica within a small smirk forming on her lips.

_____________

" —Good morning, Jule?"

Hearing one of Jack's friends speak as soon as she opened her locker, Jule flinched.

Leaning against the locker that was beside her's, Daven's smile was small but mischievous.

"Daven?"

"Missed me?"

A sigh, Jule shook her head while pushing her stuff inside her bag.

"No, It's just I thought you were expelled."

Daven chuckled.

"Not when my family is pretty sick."

A roll of her eyes, Jule turned away.

"Sick as in rich."

Daven clicked his tongue.

"No, baby, sick as in gangsters."

Eyes meeting his, Jule felt the urge to raise her fist to punch him in the face but suppressing her anger, she hummed, lowering her head down to check her bag.

Ignoring him, Jule turned around to get out of the university but then, she felt a grip on her coat's corner.

"C'mon, it doesn't hurt to talk to me."

Jule rolled her eyes once again and it took a very strong interest in him.

"Oh-oh, you're very different."

Jule ignored his words as she turned away, pulling his hand off her coat.

Walking as he followed behind, Jule closed her eyes while her hand balled into a fist.

"It's not very nice to have you walk around with me, Daven."

Turning around, she spoke, pausing while the bag's handle hung on her shoulder.

Eyes scanning her long hair and the face that has no makeup on, Daven's lips spreaded into a very amused smile.

She looked pretty, same as a year ago but her coldness along with the short skirt she wore was what seemed to be different and that difference—strange enough—began to churn his nerves in excitement.

"Oh it is."

He whispered before leaning closer.

"You seemed to forget me, Jule."

Eyes meeting his, Jule's folded hands were slowly losing strength.

"We're once the sexy pair of class."

Eyes not even blinking a bit, Jule's body seemed to feel the cold shivers going down her spine.

"We'll meet again."

Jule looked up into his eyes, not being able to respond to that.

What does he mean?

Already guessing what she was thinking in that brain of hers, Daven nodded his head.

"Trust me, we will."

He winked as he walked past her, bumping his arm over her shoulder ever so gently but strong enough to make her body shiver.

Looking back at her frozen figure, he bit his lip while the smirk spread wide on his face.

"Cute."

Wayn Koln

A grunt, Wayn's head was thrown back against the headboard of the chair he was sitting on.

Flipping through the files that looked more like trash rather than projecting a plan which he demanded to be on his table last night, his hand reluctantly threw it over the guy who stood there with his head low.

"Is this what you meant by hiring a professional photographer?"

"Mr. Koln–"

"Do not interrupt when I'm talking!"

He demanded as he raised his finger in the air.

"I demand the plan to be prepared by the n of this week and if you don't, you can go back into the streets!"

And the office door opened.

"May I come in, Sir?"

Upon hearing Lunar's voice, Koln rubbed his temple.

"Get out and I'm warning you."

The manager gulped.

"If I don't see the plan by the end of this week, I'll not spare mercy."

Watching them hurry out of the office, Lunar turned his head back to his boss.

"Sir–"

"Fxck, where are cigarettes?!"

Lunar gaped at his boss who looked pretty over stressed and without any hesitation, he opened the desk above his table.

Watching Lunar take out a cigarette, Wayn took it.

Placing it between his lips, Wayn's eyes narrowed in distress.

Lunar could sense that Wayn isn't in his good mood today.

The loud ringtone of incoming calls made them both look at the phone that was placed on the table.

Lunar was about to open his mouth to talk when Wayn groaned.

"Who is it!?"

His furious voice made Lunar bow and take the phone to check who it was.

When Lunar's eyes fell upon the name that stated 'Girlfriend', his eyes averted up to Wayn.

"Sir, It's Ms. Tina."

Tina? Isn't it past 2 o'clock there?

Wayn sighed, his hand raising as Lunar placed down the phone, Wayn kept it near his ear.

Snapping his fingers for Lunar to step out of the office, Wayn stood up.

"Hey, babe? You're not sleeping?"

A sniff from the other side of the call, Wayn froze.

"Hey, can you help me with something?"

Wayn poured the hot piping hot in the cup that had a green tea bag in it.

Taking a seat near the glass wall that showed the dark and cloudy sky, his mind suddenly filled with the dark memories he made once.

With her blonde hair sticking down her breasts, her body bouncing on his with her mouth agape, her lips only left one scream and that was his name.

A rub of his finger against his temple, he hummed.

"There are some documents in my old apartment, can you send the scans? I really need them!"

Wayn froze while his eyes gaped at the city.

Eyes blinked, he hummed once again.

"Okay."

"Thanks babe, love you!"

A sigh as he rubbed his face within his hair ruffling, Wayn's lips parted.

"Love you too."

And there the beep echoed that made his body sink into the chair he sat in.

Head being thrown back, his eyes closed within his neck being stretched.

But when he opened his eyes, a small flash of what happened last night made him lean forward.

Raising his phone, he immediately clicked over the app.

Eyeing the message he got last night, he frowned.

"A date? Who's it, again?"

He rubbed his head, not able to remember her face at a moment.

But the sight of her in the cafe made his eyes open and a small smirk formed on his lips.

"Black.."

Rubbing his bottom lip with his thumb, he could imagine her wearing black.

With that glistening skin, wearing black—a hiss as he thought, his jaw clenched.

"Damn, when is it again? one hour ago?"

He checked the watch on his wrist before looking up at Lunar—who seemed to be gaping at the profile his boss has on his phone screen.

"What? What is it?"

Wayn raised his hand, already annoyed by how Lunar is showing up everytime without announcing.

"The meeting has been scheduled in one hour—"

"Postpone."

Lunar blinked.

"But-"

"I command."

His eyes dug into Lunar as Lunar froze.

Lunar closed his mouth in an instant.

"Is there anywhere you're going, sir?"

" —yes!"

He breathed out as he hurried out along with Lunar who followed behind.

"Where are we going, sir?"

Wayn wore back his glasses and when he walked into the elevator, Lunar sighed heavily.

Walking out of the building, Wayn looked up within his hand pushing back his ruffly hair.

Lunar, who had his head turning away, gulped down the lump in his throat.

"Hurry up!"

Upon hearing Wayn's voice as he stood there with his hand opening the car door, Lunar immediately got in.

Driving off, Lunar cleared his throat.

"Where.."

Checking the watch on his wrist, Wayn thrummed his feet continuously.

"Moon Violets."

Looking up, Wayn laid his head over the headrest.

Glancing at his boss through the rearview mirror, Lunar looked away within his ears, heating up.

"Moon Violets… "

He lowered his eyes upon the road.

" —couple restaurant."
