2 - Not At All

She came to a halt. Does Theon speak Finnish? She was stunned and unable to speak at that point. When her gaze fell on his six pack abs, she swallowed. He was so enticing to look at as she exhaled the smoke from his cigarettes. She's getting hot, and she's not stupid for misinterpreting Theon's gestures; he's seducing her.

"I saw what you did earlier," he said, grinning at her, as he sat on the sofa, cigarette puff on the ash tray. He took a sip from the champagne glass filled with wine on the center table.

"Well, in that case, I should leave right now. Fix it for me, lover boy." She gave him a seductive smile.

He stood up and laughed at what she said. He took his time walking over to the closet she had hidden earlier from the unconscious and sound asleep man. It landed on the floor with a thud.

Theon laughed dangerously and looked around to see if the man was still alive. "Yeah, I could," he said, picking up the cellphone that was lying on the bed and dialing a number. While facing her, he spoke on the other line, and the first name he mentioned was Zerus'.

Not at all!

She approached him as quickly as lightning and took his cellphone. She hung up the phone. She couldn't care less how close she was to Theon.

Theon reached for the cellphone she was holding, and she was caught off guard when he suddenly yanked her and she fell directly on top of his body.

Bullshit!

She moved away from him quickly, but Theon's hand was on her waist. Her brows met, and she was about to push him away when Theon unexpectedly kissed her. She moaned immediately. She should not have missed his kiss so much!

She pushed him away, but he had his hand on the back of her head.

The kiss he gave her deteriorated, and even though she denies it, she stumbled upon her kiss. Theon was her first kiss, after all. It was the first time her heart had begun to beat again. She wants to get away from the luscious kiss he gave her, but she knows she'll be sorry if she makes him stop.

She sighed as Theon squeezed and caressed her breast. She eventually lost her temper, and her plan to leave his room was abandoned.

She hadn't realized she was reacting to the kiss until now. She vowed that this would be the last time and distanced herself. She'll promise that they'll never cross paths again, and if they do, she'll be the first to avoid them.

But when she saw him, half of her being rejoiced. If only Theon could be her. If her life hadn't been in danger, she might still be by Theon's side in these moments, even if Theon couldn't love her. Even if she doesn't have ownership of him.

What happened next completely threw her sanity out the window. She placed her hand on his neck and joined in on the kiss. He touched her cheek, and she was too late to notice that she was already beneath him and the man was on top. She sank into the bed, but it didn't bother her.

"Jackylyn..." Theon stop kissing her and locked his gaze on her. He rubbed her cheek with his fingers...

It felt as if acid had been poured on her in the name he had mentioned. She abruptly realized what she was doing and pushed the man away. Theon fell off the bed, but that didn't deter her from sprinting to the front door.

What was that, oh my goodness?!

"Jacky!" Theon's booming voice echoed down the hallway.

——

When someone tap her on the cheek, Jackylyn was startled. It was Abhaya when she looked up. She gave her a friendly grin and a raised eyebrow. She knows something about her friend and the man they're protecting, Dr. Hayes, as far as she knows.

Abhaya inquired, "Did you speak to Yx?"

She quickly shook and turned her attention to the tasks ahead of her. She's the secretary for Dr. Hayes. His only secretary on a temporary basis. As she sat down on the front sofa, she asked, "Aren't you doing anything?"

"Yes, but I'm bored," she shrugged. "Also, he isn't the center of my universe. Before we start this job, we have our own lives to live, but in any case, I have to leave. It's time to assassinate some jerk." She also kept her posture.

She couldn't help but smile at herself. Since she arrived on the island, where Yx taught them how to fight like men, they've been close friends. They are best tandem. Abhaya is a skilled martial artist who also knows how to use guns. While her best was, the cyber world and digging graves for their enemies background. She only has rudimentary martial arts skills.

Then she looked in the mirror and saw another Jackylyn fleeing for her life.

How she arrived on Yx's island, how she escaped the people she had fled from, and how she met Theon, the man whose sapphire eyes made her heart beat faster.

She let out a long gasp and stared at herself. She was transported back in time, as if a movie had been projected into her mind...

.

RUN! she keeps running. She needs to get away from the group chasing her. By the time they arrest her, her life will be ruined. her

happiness depends on why she was running right now. So she must not gets caught

by them. She's praying she have wings so she could fly then and be gone from those men who chase her.

It was dark at night and she saw a yacht leaving the harbor. She gathered courage and squinted she jumped back and quickly hid inside. She knew it was impossible for her opponents to follow her because she knew she had misled them.

She also can't take a plane to any place because she knows she'll be caught faster if that's what she did. It is even more impossible for a passenger ship because she knows how high the ability and power of the person

who wants to take her.

.

She prayed slowly and sincerely, oblivious to the fact that she was drenched in sweat. She clutched her small rucksack bag, which held some crucial documents and a small amount of money for her escape — if only she hadn't been heard.

She was pleased when she noticed the private yacht she was hiding on slowly leaving the harbor. She was in the back, tucked to one side, just far enough back that no one could notice her immediately away. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but she quickly brushed them away. She should not hesitate now. She required a lot of guts.

She was so sleepy that she didn't know she'd fallen asleep while cradling the bag. She just awoke when she was tapped on the cheek. She was dazzled by the light that struck her eye, and with her hand folded, she couldn't see the man in front of her.

It takes a few seconds for it to set in that she ran away and that someone was after her. When she realized this, she abruptly stood up, only to collide into the iron barrier. She shook her head and returned to her seat.

It hurts!

"Here."

She looked up and saw the hand he extended to her; she was apprehensive at first, but her hand seemed to have its own mind and reached for him. Only then did she realize she was only up to the chest of the person in front of her and needed to look up to view the entire face of the person who assisted her in standing up.

She was taken aback when she noticed his entire appearance. Its sea-colored eyes were staring at her, his pointed nose was lovely to grip and question if he was real or not, and his brows matched his blue eyes. His tiny, crimson lips, as well as his divided chin, contribute to his allure. Is he a God? Why is the man in front of her so attractive?

She bent abruptly after swallowing her saliva. She felt as if she was flushing profusely. This is the first time she has noticed a man's superb appearance. Because she was previously just pure avoidance, or, to put it another way, she was not permitted to have the man she desired in her life.

What exactly is this? Why did she feel different the moment their gazes met? It wasn't unusual for her to encounter different colors of eyes, but he was unique, which drew her attention.

"What exactly are you doing here?"

His voice sounded like lightning, so she bowed and shook her head. What will her response be?

"Answer me!"

She jerked up, terrified, and looked up, but she quickly recovered. What would she have to say? Only then did she realize they were far from the harbor and she couldn't see any wood or house at all, as she relaxed on that item. She is finally safe. She smiled sadly, even if she didn't want to go away, if she didn't, she'd be imprisoned for life, and she wouldn't let that happen.

"You ran away."

That is not in doubt. She looked at him for a long time before nodding. It was clear from the backpack she was carrying. Who was a rational woman who boarded a yacht that wasn't hers?

She winced as her stomach grumbled; she hadn't eaten since the morning before. As a result, she is becoming weak, and her worm pets are fighting in her stomach. She quietly soothed her troubled stomach.

The man in front of her shook his head and moved his gaze away. "Come eat with me."

What she heard made her feel as if she had won the lottery, and she swiftly followed him. She was starving and would eat anything as long as it wasn't harmful.

Pancakes, coffee, and fresh fruits flashed before Jackylyn's eyes. She wanted to taste it and waited for him to invite her to sit in front, despite the fact that she wanted to run and eat all of them.

"Would you mind just standing there?"

"H-ha?"

"Come on, let's eat."

She sat down and promptly nodded. She was no longer embarrassed to swallow in front of the man, despite the fact that he is really attractive. The main thing is that she ate something.

She felt stuffed and content after devouring all of the food in front of her. When their gazes met, she felt humiliated.

"I'm sorry," she apologized.

The man nodded and drank coffee as she ate everything that was presented to her. She was simply starving.

"May I ask what your name is?" "Perhaps you have the courage to tell'me even your name,' don't you?"

.

She nodded slowly, her gaze fixed on the wedding ring on his finger. She didn't want to acknowledge it, but a part of her emotion refused to believe that he was married and that someone else already had the man's heart. She was saddened by the situation, but she ignored it. She wants to smack herself!

"J-jackylyn Suarez Rokassowskij," she said timidly.

"You're a Filipina-Finnish?" he asked, surprised at her last name. He was a little taken aback.

She arched her back in response to the query. She looked him in the eyes, but then she looked down. How did he find out she was Finnish? Because of her surname, she was frequently misidentified as Russian. Except for her gray eyes and dark brown hair, she appears to be of a different race. Her mother is 100% Cebuana, hence she is Filipina on the inside. If her grandfather hadn't merely changed her last name to the last name she used, she would have used Suarez as her last name.
