Chapter 7

Lsabella's pov :

"Don't just stand around here, go to your place with Gamma."

I looked around the whole room, I suddenly realized that as an outsider, the only person I had a relationship with here was probably this beauty who was as soft as the moonlight.

Olivia was standing at Jasper's side, and she was discussing with Beta in a soft tone about the scenery near the site of the Alpha meeting.

Charlotte still interjected a few words out of the blue, although neither Jasper nor Olivia paid much attention to her. But I could sense that Charlotte's attention and aggression were now directed toward Olivia.

Jasper would occasionally interject, in a gentle tone, I had never seen before.

Then he looked up and noticed me, coldly inquiring why I was still here.

Although Jasper and I had only just met for a short time and didn't know each other well at all. But the huge contrast he brought to me still sent me into a small shock.

"Miss Hill?"

I pulled myself out of my daze and only then did I notice that there was a strange young man standing in front of me, and I was busy apologizing to him.

"It's okay, my name is Wyatt, I'm gamma of Blue Moon Pack, let me show you to the residence."

"Thanks."

Blue Moon Pack is the largest pack in East Island, and their building can also reveal the financial power of this Pack. I came here as Jasper's mate, and with the identity of Moon Pack's Alpha in, I guessed that my residence should be in a villa area specially prepared for guests.

But this gamma didn't take me very far, a magnificent main building appeared in front of me, which should be the Alpha's residence and office.

Wyatt led me in through a side door. I wouldn't be living next door to Jasper, I had a moment of panic, not knowing how to handle my sudden acquisition of intimacy.

But gamma led me deeper toward the second-floor corridor, stopping at the door of a room at the end of the hall.

"This is your quarters, there will be a maid to clean the room every day, and you can always tell us if you need anything."

"Okay, thanks."

This room is not small, but in the whole building, it is not particularly large.

This situation revealed a strange feeling I had felt strongly when I first arrived at Blood Moon Pack. My presence here was too special, my relationship with Jasper was so close and so distant, I was Blood Moon PackAlpha's mate, but my Luna identity was not recognized.

So this was all really going to be over in two months, right?

I was lying on my bed tiredly, Xavier should have already returned to Blood Moon Pack, such a long distance between us, I started to miss everything about my time in Blood Moon Pack, I had never been away from Blood Moon Pack for two months before.

I don't know what Xavier is doing now, so I decided to contact him later so he wouldn't worry.

I was so tired today that I washed up and went to sleep soon after.

I may have long since gotten used to the busy life I used to have before I became an Alpha when I started doing routine patrols every morning.

The superficial men thought I had earned my status by my looks, but only I knew how many times I had to work to get the same recognition as the men.

I walked out of my room early in the morning. There were many busy people in the courtyard, but I was not one of them. No one would assign me a job in the Blue Moon Pack.

"Hello, are you Miss Lsabella, please?"

A man with an overly flattering smile stepped in front of me.

I had already scored him low in my mind, and my intuition told me that this man was not to be trusted. Still, it was important to be patient and listen to what he had to say to me; after all, I had to stay here for two months and to contradict someone on my first day would be adding to my problems.

"And you are?"

"I'm gamma from Blood Moon Pack, you can call me Silas."

I met a gamma yesterday, and now another one popped up. But this is not impossible, because Blood Moon Pack is a very large pack, there can only be one Alpha in a pack, but there can be many Beta and gamma, although I do not understand the composition of Blood Moon Pack's power, I have no need to doubt the authenticity of the identity of the person in front of me, what is more, important to me is the purpose of his coming to me was.

"Hello, may I ask what can I do for you?"

Silas rubbed his hands together, smiled wickedly, and took two more steps closer to me.

"You really are Miss Lsabella, you really have the beauty that would amaze the moon goddess!"

I hadn't been stopped early in the morning just to hear his compliments.

"What's the matter?"

He sneered a few times and suddenly turned into a vicious look, "I advise you not to covet our Blue Moon Pack's things, wouldn't it be good to go back to your Blood Moon Pack and marry someone earlier?"

"Do you think I'm the one who wants to come here?" I couldn't help but feel annoyed that I was forced to come to the distant Blue Moon Pack and endure an embarrassing situation where I was clearly a victim, yet I had to endure such accusations.

Blue Moon Pack may be powerful, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

"You, a gamma, don't go and do what you're supposed to do, and come to me to stir up relations for what? My relationship with your Alpha is the choice of the Moon Goddess, how did it come to you as a means for me to butter up the Blue Moon Pack?"

"Our Alpha's Luna will naturally have the best choice, what are you, you can't tell all your affair anecdotes in one day and you don't feel shame!"

I don't want to pay attention to this crazy dog who bites people indiscriminately, if my gamma was so mouthy, I would have dragged him out. But this is not my gamma, I have no obligation to educate him.

I gave him a blank look and sidled away from his side.

Wind in my ears, I instantly raised my hand to catch the fist flying towards the side of my face, Silas was looking at me menacingly, he saw this and slammed his other fist up as well.

I dodged his attack and lifted my leg towards his abdomen.

When Silas couldn't dodge, he took a solid kick from me and flew straight out.

Silas hit the railing of the flower bed, a loud crash and screams of pain came out at the same time, many people in the courtyard stopped to check the situation.

I said I didn't want to do it, but this guy was too much of a bully. I patted my wrinkled clothes and tried to leave the place.

Suddenly, a woman's thin scream came from the inside of the garden railing. I approached with a couple of maids and saw Olivia on her knees next to the garden railing.

"Miss? Are you all right?"

"I'm...I'm fine, I'm just in shock."

She was gasping for air, her voice breaking, not like she was okay, and the incident seemed to have something to do with me.

"Olivia-san? Are you really okay? Let the maid take you back to rest, or better yet, have a doctor take a look. I'm really sorry, I started that loud noise."

Olivia seemed to notice me only at this time, her fair face flushed a little blood after the shock, eyelashes flashed, eyes vaguely glistening with crystal tears, really a soft beauty.

This beauty is not only gentle but also reasonable: "Thank you Miss Lsabella for your concern, it's all my fault that I am too timid, such a sound will be scared, let Miss Lsabella laugh."

The loud noise was indeed triggered by me, I reached out my hand and handed it to Olivia: "It's better for me to send you back to rest, the flowers can come back another day to see."

Olivia hesitated, but still put her hand on my hand, I gently a force to help her up.

The gamma outside had run off, and I ignored where he was going and accompanied Olivia back to her room.

"Again, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gotten into a confrontation here."

"It's okay, I've long heard that Miss Lsabella is the only female Alpha on the East Continent, I've seen you fight, you're really as powerful as the rumors say."

This compliment I heard twisted but did not take it to heart.

"Does Olivia-san live in it too?"

We entered the magnificent main building and walked to the wide hall on the third floor, and I saw two magnificently decorated rooms side by side.

Olivia pushed the door into the room on the right and then sidled up to invite me, "Miss Lsabella, come in and have a seat, and I'll thank you for sending me back."

I once again confirmed that Olivia's relationship with Jasper was not simple and that she might be the "best choice for Luna" as Silas said.

If Olivia was loved by both the Blue Moon Pack and Jasper, then why did Jasper bring me back? If she did, why did she accept it so openly?

I can't think of any reason why this would make sense, it can't be because Olivia is weak, can't she live much longer?

But I shouldn't have stepped into Olivia's room anyway.

I took a step back: "If Olivia-san is not feeling well, she should rest early, so I won't bother you."

I inquired that Jasper also happened to be out today and was not able to see me. I really had nowhere to go but back to my room on the second floor.

I remembered that I had some books on the shelves in my room and I could use them to pass some time.

I had just walked down the stairs and hadn't even reached the end of the hallway when there were eager footsteps behind me.

I didn't have time to turn around before a strong hand grabbed me directly by the neck and I was pushed backward Jasper took off and slammed me in front of the door of the room.

He looked like he was going crazy, glaring viciously as if he wanted to tear me apart with his gaze, but I still didn't understand what was happening.

"I told you not to hurt Olivia! Why didn't you listen!"
