Chapter 10

Lydia's POV

In the wolf fighting tournament, my bright performance surprised the Dawn Pack clan who once looked down on me, and many people told me that I succeeded too late, and if I had awakened my wolf earlier, I wouldn't have been mistreated by the Kelly family at all.

As I passed Elvis's room, I couldn't help but look at the door that had appeared countless times in my dreams.

I often dreamed that when I walked through that door into Elvis' room, he could hug me with a smile.

But it was a dream after all, and in reality, Elvis and I had become strangers, although Elvis didn't think so.

I withdrew my gaze and prepared to calmly leave when I saw a young girl with dark hair walk out of Elvis' room.

Elvis turned his back on me and embraced the young girl, and everything was just like in my dream, except that the person in his arms was not me.

So Elvis had actually found a new mate after rejecting me, yet still came to pester me. There was an unexplainable hard feeling in my heart, after all, it was my love for Elvis that kept me going during the time I was tortured by the Kelly family.

I turned and ran away, accidentally knocking over a vase of flowers placed in the doorway.

Elvis's POV

The sound of a vase breaking interrupted my hug with Nana, and I turned to see a dazzling head of red hair.

Not bothering to say goodbye to Nana, I ran directly in the direction Lydia had left. Lydia was so fast that it took me a lot of effort to catch up with her.

"Lydia, you've got it all wrong!" I explained to Lydia as I followed her.

"Whether it's true or not has nothing to do with me." Lydia didn't look back at me, she just sped up, "We don't have a relationship anymore, and whatever you do has nothing to do with me."

"Listen to me..."

Before I could tell Lydia the truth, I saw a viper flicking its tongue out and lunging at Lydia.

"Damn." I also sped up, pulling Lydia into my arms before kicking the turquoise snake.

I kicked the snake, but I was also bitten by it. The intense pain spread from the root of my thighs, and I didn't even have the strength to hold myself up and sit up.

"Are you okay?" Lydia propped me up on my shoulders and let me lean against the trunk, her eyes red as if she was about to cry.

"I'm okay, but," I looked at the base of my thigh with some hesitation, "I need to get the poison out, and this snake is very poisonous."

Lydia did not hesitate, directly tore open my pants, the next moment her soft lips, which I once kissed, were sucking on the viper bite out of the wound.

A current of electricity hit my brain straight from Lydia's lips and the intense pleasure almost made it impossible to think, and although I didn't want to, my pen*s stood up and Lydia might come into close contact with it once she turned her head.

Lydia sat up, spat out the venom she had sucked out, and then looked at me with a red face, "You actually thought about that dirty thing while I was sucking out the venom for you! You rascal!"

Maybe this was a little weird, but I must say that Lydia was really cute when she was shy.

I tugged at my shirt to block that area and then turned to Lydia and said, "Let me explain, I'm just..."

Before I could finish, Lydia reached out her hand to cover her forehead and fell straight down. I rushed to reach for her, and her scented body fell into my arms, making that part of me react even more violently.

"What's wrong with you?" I noticed that Lydia's reaction wasn't quite right.

Lydia still covered her forehead and looked a little weak, "It's okay, I'm just a little dizzy all of a sudden."

That's when I realized I was wrapping my hands tightly around Lydia's waist. Her waist was so thin that I only had to use two hands to encircle her waist.

I imagined that Lydia and I were not separated by this layer of clothing, and that my hands were directly touching her delicate skin...

I took a look at Lydia's rosy cheeks, and I was sure she was thinking the same thing as me at this point.

Her lips were so fresh that I already missed the soft touch of the day she fell into Deepwood Lake.

I couldn't control myself any longer and lowered my head and kissed on the softness.

Lydia's POV

The residual toxins from the snake venom made my brain less clear and I had some trouble telling if I was dreaming or not.

Elvis's hand was on my breast and his other hand was restlessly reaching into my shirt and stroking my waist, his hand was hot and the heat emanating from it as it passed over my skin almost set me on fire.

His tongue stirred in my mouth, seducing my tongue to tangle with his, and I felt my brain grow even foggier as the strong scent of hormones enveloped me, making me stifle small moans.

I heard Elvis whisper a soft laugh as he took advantage of the gap between his lips and teeth to ask me, "Lydia, you're enjoying this too aren't you?"

I didn't answer him, I couldn't divide my energy to do anything but bloom under his lips and hands.

As the toxins slowly dissipated, I realized it wasn't all a dream!

I reached out my hand and tried to push Elvis away.

Elvis freed the hand that was on my breast, gently grabbed my hand, and then held my hand behind my back.

His kiss fell down my cheek on my earlobe, and he sucked tenderly on it, a tingling sensation that made me shiver gently and uncontrollably.

"Lydia, you see, your body is addicted too. There's no way you can deny me." His voice sounded close my ear, low and gentle, and I had never heard him speak in such a soft voice.

I thought he's right, I really had no way to refuse him, I had no way to refuse someone I'd liked for over ten years, with such tenderness, doing such a thing.

I responded boldly and raw to Elvis' kiss, even reaching out to wrap my arms around Elvis' neck as Elvis and I drifted into the depths of lust together. After noticing my response, Elvis hooked the corners of his mouth and smiled. I didn't see or hear it, I felt it with my lips, he smiled.

Elvis took my hand and led me to press my hand to his chest. I felt the heartbeat coming from my hand, Elvis' heart was beating violently as if it was going to burst through his chest cavity in the next second.

"See, my heart loves it when you do that." Elvis moved his lips away and looked at me with those beautiful, unspeakable blue eyes.

"There's another part of me that really likes you too." Elvis smiled wryly, then grabbed my hand and stroked his abs, stroking along the way down and finally stopping at his belt.

I bet my face was as red as a tomato at that moment.

The man who had appeared countless times in my dreams was smiling warmly, holding my hand and leading me to explore his most private places. If Elvis' face wasn't also red, I would have thought he wasn't shy about it.

"You want to give it a try?" Elvis raised an eyebrow at me.

He didn't say exactly which kind of "try", and I didn't ask, we both knew what it meant.

"Lydia!" a call broke the ambiguous atmosphere between Elvis and me, and made me withdraw the "yes" I was about to say.

I pushed Elvis away and sat up from him, and the Moon Goddess knew that I had actually sat on Elvis' lap somehow!

"It's Larissa, she's looking for me." I turned my back on Elvis and straightened my clothes, "I'm leaving."

Larissa's voice pulled me out of that state just now, reminding me that the man called Elvis in front of me was the one who had personally rejected me and was one of the things that made me so determined to jump into the waterfall.

"Lydia," I heard Elvis call behind me and I stopped in my tracks, but didn't turn around.

I didn't dare turn around, Elvis must still look hot and sexy, his lips must still be slightly red from our kiss, and I didn't want to see the evidence of my seduction by him.

"You had forgiven me, right?" Elvis didn't stand up either, I could hear from his voice that he should still be sitting on the floor, but at the moment he must not be as aggressive as he was a moment ago, he must be looking at me with his eyes open innocently, just like he always did.

"I don't need to forgive you." I deliberately made my voice sound icy, "We're just strangers."

Larissa's voice was getting closer and closer, maybe in another two minutes she would find her way here. I got even more anxious, and I didn't want Larissa to know what had just happened.

I ignored Elvis' words, I needed to show in front of Larissa at the point before she found this place or everyone would know what I had just done here.

Elvis got directly in front of me and stopped me.

Just as I imagined, his lips were still a little red, his clothes had long since been thrown away somewhere, and he was now topless, hence his toned skin was totally displayed to me.

Elvis stared at me intently with his damn blue eyes as if he didn't know how sexy he was being like this, the tension in his eyes very obvious.

"How can you say we're strangers," Elvis looked very sad, "Did you forget just now? You just clearly..."

"Nothing just happened!" I interrupted Elvis nervously, as if what had just happened hadn't happened at all as long as he kept his mouth shut.

Elvis bit his lower lip and looked at me innocently, and damn, he's even sexier that way.

I ruthlessly averted my eyes from looking at him.

"Is it something I did wrong?" I heard Elvis say carefully, "Was I reckless? If so, I apologize, I just couldn't control myself."

"That's enough, Elvis!" again I interrupted him, my voice firm, "Nothing happened to us. Now I'm leaving."

"But that clearly happened. Everything just now was real."

I didn't know why, but I actually saw a hint of pleading in Elvis' eyes. He seemed to need me to affirm him, and he wanted to hear me tell him that I did indulge in that kiss just now.

"What did you take me for?" I resisted the urge to comfort Elvis and forced myself to think about the brunette who had walked out of his room, "You're the one who rejected me as your mate yourself, and you're the one who called me Miss Liar, and now you want to make up for all your mistakes with two kisses? Do I look that cheap?"

"I didn't ..." Elvis looked at me intently, as if he couldn't understand why I would say that, "I didn't mean it that way."

"That's what you mean." I pushed away Elvis who was trying to hug me, "Otherwise you wouldn't be so flirty with me."

Elvis took a few steps back when I pushed him, and with what I said, he hung his head and looked very sad, "So you think that kiss was bad just now?"

My brain didn't allow me to lie, and it was indeed a great kiss, so I refused to answer Elvis on that one.

"You didn't like me before, you even despised me a lot. Now you are making this hurt look, is that going to make up for the pain in my heart?"

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Elvis, but I said this sarcastic remark with a cold face.

"Wouldn't you be ashamed of that?"

The words completely broke Elvis' heart, and he stood with his head down and didn't go after me.
