CHAPTER 5

When it landed in a place I had only seen once before, which was now the second time, I had the same reaction. I curse this place except for the Omegas who are forced to be imprisoned here.

When we got out of what seemed to be an elevator, the smell of cigarettes and mixed with sweat immediately came to my senses. I immediately covered my nose and when I turned to Uriel he was grinning at me. Is this what he is saying we should prepare ourselves for? Was it because he was used to the smell lingering in this dark place? And we do not?

I want to attack him now, because based on the look he's giving me, it seems like he's saying he's won some kind of competition between the two of us.

Bullshit. Fuck you, Uriel.

"Follow me." He ordered. He walked away without even looking back at us.

But I couldn't move immediately because that penetrating smell was still gnawing at me. I swallowed hard. I gradually felt the sweat on my forehead because of that. I looked around, but no. This was the kind of place I had to endure for the information I could get about that man.

I closed my eyes and waited for a few seconds before opening my eyes again. I also removed my hand covering my mouth, feeling around and then turned to my two companions. They both frowned when they looked at me while covering their noses and mouths. Their eyes immediately widened when they saw that I wasn't covering mine. I knew what they wanted to convey to me, but I just shook my head at what they wanted to happen.

I need to get used to it. That's what Uriel wants me to do.

"Let's go." I immediately walked after Uriel. My every step was fast and heavy. My jaw tightened because I'm still not used to this kind of place. I stopped in time because I suddenly felt Uriel's grip on my shoulder.

I looked at him, those same evil smiles still plastered in his fucking lips.

"What do you want?" I asked here in a low voice.

"Loosened up, Dude! What if come and join me? Hmm?" he invited while holding a glass of wine.

That's when I also noticed that we were in front of a bar counter, where a big man was standing who I estimated was about 7ft tall. Wow? Do these people still exist?

"Don't give me that look, boy. What do you want to drink?" he asked in his deep normal voice.

I immediately shook off my surprise and immediately shook my head in response. "No, we weren't drinking." I answered that he immediately nodded.

I suddenly turned my gaze to Uriel, and this time, his eyebrows were about to meet with the intensity of his frown. "Are you embarrassing me, Alec?" From the tone of his voice, I can tell that he is not happy with what is happening now.

Does he think I enjoy what he's doing? I'm still calm for now, but little by little, my patience with Uriel will run out. I quickly removed his hand that was firmly on my shoulder, and faced it. He looked at me differently, but I didn't care about that. I'm not here to mess with him and if that's what he wants, well I can't give it to him.

"I'm sorry for ruining your little games, Uriel. But were not here to play with your silly games. Please... don't mess with me, I'm not here to find any trouble. I'm here because I need information." I said in a calm and serious voice.

"Information you said? You think I will give you information because you just said that?" he answered me in disbelief.

I was suddenly surprised by what he said.

"You're not the one we need to meet, Uriel. Please... just let us meet Sebastian." for the second time, I was able to say here again what I needed.

I know he will do this trick again on us, on me. Instead of showing me Sebastian, he will use up my time with his useless words and words, until I can no longer see the person I'm aiming for and the person he said he would show us.

That's his ways to mess with us, Alpha's of Vinizia City. He wants to mess with us really bad and when things get heated, of course he will blame us. He will take the blame even if he is the one who did it.

Uriel is very useless to talk to, so it's tiring when he sees someone he knows right away, he will waste your time on useless things.

I wasn't surprised when he forcefully pushed me away from him and after that he laughed loudly as if there was something funny in what I said.

"Ha! You're still funny to this day, Alec! That's why you're fun to play with! You know, I'm enjoying spending your time here, it's just that you and your friends seem to be the same, you're both idiots!" After that, he laughed like crazy in front of me.

People there were also looking at him, but I didn't do anything even though he almost lost his breath from laughing on the floor. I just stared at him. I let him say what he wants to say, shout and even say something inappropriate about me. He was doing that every single time when one of the Alpha's including me needed to go here.

"Alpha Alec of Dark Moon Pack?" I just stopped looking at Uriel who was going crazy because of the voice we heard near where he was.

And from there, the people watching what was happening immediately gave way, and a man wearing a black long sleeve and white pants walked closer. He was walking towards us and when he stopped beside Uriel, he offered his hands in front of me.

"Welcome to the Casa De Dinero."

We are currently walking together with the man who stopped what was happening between us and Uriel earlier. it just stopped laughing because of the arrival of a man who introduced himself as Sebastian.

"What is... Casa De Dinero?" I heard Felix whisper to David. I didn't hear the other answer so I answered for him.

"It's House of Money." Literally money. House with lots of money. Because this place has a lot of money but in dirty work.

"This way please," as we entered a clean room, Sebastian immediately sat on his throne, in a black chair behind the table.

While the three of us remained standing in front of him. And when he saw us, he smiled at me, like a welcome smile.

"Oh? You can sit everywhere you'd like gentlemen's." she said with a smile. I went straight to the chair that was quietly placed in front of his desk while the other two were on the quiet sofa at the side of the room.

Sebastian leaned back in his seat and focused his full attention on me.

"So... what can I do for you, Alpha Alec? I thought you'll never ever step your food inside of this territory because it disgusts you?" He said between his grim smile. He immediately sat down properly and placed his palms together on the table and stared deeply into my eyes. "And now... you're here in front of me. What a sudden change of heart." He smiled after he said that.

A dangerous kind of smile.

"Anyway, what can I help you for today? Hmm? You want to buy one of our most expensive Omega?" he asked me with a smile.

It disgusts me. Not the Omega, but this person in front of me.

"No. I'm not going to buy, but I wanna ask if there's someone who is... or um escaped from here?" I asked directly which made the smile on his lips disappear.

"What are you talking about?" he asked me again.

"If someone from here escapes or something like that?"

"You saw... someone that came from here and escaped?" he asked again in a more serious voice.

I can clearly see in his eyes that he wants to know the truth from me. He knew something that I couldn't understand so... I kept my mouth shut.

"Yes, it seems so,"

"So, did you come here to find out if what you saw ran away from this place?"

"Yes, that's right Sebastian." replied David. I turned to him but his eyes kept looking at Sebastian who was also currently looking at him. "Because we saw something and Alpha Alec's territory and this place might have a problem if we didn't immediately ask about it or inform you about it. You... owned them. We know that. So we are wondering what if we saw is truly from here so we can plan... on giving that person back to you."

I don't know why the plan changed. David turned to me and I saw in his eyes that he let me trust what he was thinking. Even though I don't know his true intentions in telling Sebastian those things, maybe then we will find out if that man really came from here, ran away and ended up in my territory.

David and I just saw that Sebastian nodded slowly in front of us. He retreated from his seat and took something from under his table.

"Even if you don't ask, we have lists of Omegas who run away without permission from us, and some of them..." he stopped speaking and when he looked into my eyes I saw a monster. "We are killing them for doing that."

When he stood up, he dropped an old book in front of us. It was almost covered in dust, but Sebastian didn't seem to have the dirt stuck to it because he immediately opened it and revealed to me every face, name, and age of the Omegas who were running away or leaving without their permission.

"Did you... kill all the names written here?" I asked without looking at him.

The photos of these people are too old, too old enough but that doesn't mean that I can't read their names and picture their faces. It makes me wonder what kind of life they have in this place that might make them run away and run from this hellish place.

But... I can't blame them if that's the only way to escape this place, but despite that, it also brings them back to death.

"No. The dogs when they escape, eventually they return to where they are put to sleep, fed and cared for. Like these Omegas," he emphatically pointed to a page where I could see each of their faces. "They're dogs. They'll come back to us because no one will accept them, but... only us." he said in a horrible voice.

I felt angry because of what he said, I slowly clenched my right fist. I didn't think there was anything more demonic than Uriel, and that was the person in front.

I didn't answer him, I didn't want to have a rift in my little relationship with Sebastian, I didn't want to ruin it. Instead, Felix and David took that book and looked at each face of the Omegas who were there one after the other.

They might see the man in my territory now.

We were enveloped in silence, only every page of the book made noise in the room where we were. Until Sebastian's voice broke the silence.

"How did you know that what you saw came from here? Didn't anyone take care of him? Didn't anyone ask?" this question surprised me.

I just shook my head even though the truth was that we had no plans about that matter. "Nothing. But all of a sudden he ran away from us very scared. Maybe because he found out I'm Alpha." I didn't understand if I could convince him with my answers.

Sebastian nodded when he heard me, it wasn't long before Felix and David finished opening each page containing the Omegas who escaped from this place. But, they both shook their heads which only meant that it wasn't on the list.

That man is not in the book.

"He's not here, Sebastian." Felix answered and closed that book.

"Hmm... if he's not there. That means, someone is possessing him." it's back to us.

Suddenly, the three of us looked at each other, which means that someone is possessed by that man. But who? What worthless person would abuse someone like him?

I just stood up. I've done what I need here, we need to get back soon.

"Wait," I stopped just as I was about to leave his large office.

"We don't need any more, Sebastian."

After I said that, a smile appeared on his lips. I was shocked suddenly. Alec, how about I propose to you? You know, you can buy two or three Omega's—"

"I'm not here to buy them. And where done here." I seriously end up saying this.

I know he will propose to me too, but as far as he knows, I will not buy someone like them who seems to be just being made into a toy by demons like Sebastian and Uriel.

"Alpha! Our house is open for you! You can come back here to buy them if you want!" He yelled at me again but I didn't even look at him.

When we came out, Uriel immediately appeared to us, he moved his head to the right hallway. He walked first so we immediately followed him. My brain was empty as we returned to where we came from earlier, even what the two behind me were talking about I couldn't understand because at this time my mind was only focused on that man.

The man I thought was from here, ran away from this hellish place and suddenly lost consciousness at the edge of my territory. If he didn't come from there, well, the questions in my mind, only he can answer.

He and only him.

When we finally got there, Uriel immediately left us because he also quickly returned to where we came from. When the three of us were left in front of the car, Felix immediately asked me.

"Alpha... what are we going to do next?"

I looked at him. I admit I couldn't think of anything to do next, because I didn't expect the information I would find out from this place.

"Right now, we have to wait for that man to wake up. However, I would also like you to find other information about him, I won't be at peace if I don't know where he really came from."

"Yes, Alpha."

We had decided to get into the car when someone suddenly called Felix. I was just wondering when he gave me his cell phone, and I just saw who was calling.

"Shiena..." I whispered to her name on the screen, I immediately answered it as well. I hadn't even finished speaking when I heard his loud shout on the other line.

"Alec! Get back here immediately!"

"Why? What happened?"

"Don't ask any more questions! Just hurry up and get back here right away!" panic was evident in his voice so I quickly ordered David to start the car to leave that place.

"Shiena, can you please calm down first? Why are you panicking? What's going on? Are Haley and Timothy there again?" I ask here again.

"Alec! He's awake! He's fucking awake! So please! Come back here as soon as possible!" he answered again and hung up.

He's awake. That guy is finally awake.

"David, we need to come back as soon as possible."

"Yes, Alpha. Leave it to me."

Because of that, the car we were riding in sped up. But my mind was not there, but on that man... because finally... I had a chance to know who he was and where he came from and what he was doing in my territory.
