Five

I saw Ayesha preparing milk for me. He took it and gave it to me.

"I'll just throw it up, Ayesha," I said.

"Force yourself to drink that to warm your stomach. How will you get rid of your bad feeling?" answered Ayesha.

I forced myself to drink so as not to waste Ayesha's seasoned milk. It's a shame if he doesn't like me as much as he makes an effort to take care of me. He is the friend I need in this situation.

“Where is Kiley?" I asked.

"He had surgery in the hospital; it was there yesterday night."

"Okay,” I replied.

"Dionne, I'm going to work in the office right now." She says.

"I'm alright if you leave me alone here, Ayesha," I respond.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Ayesha, it's embarrassing if I become a burden to you," I said.

"Don't think that the important thing is that you're okay."

Five minutes later, Ayesha left for work. I was left alone in the living room of the house. I went inside my room to get dressed because I had a meeting in town today. I'd like to take a walk. I'm currently in my room. I'm still folding clothes and putting them in the closet. I'll pair the leggings with a hoodie and a pink blouse. I'll put it on and put on some light make-up. I left the house after the gate was securely closed after I was satisfied with how I looked in the mirror with my makeup. I texted Ayesha, telling her I was going to the mall for a few minutes.

I called a taxi outside the house. Two minutes later, a cab pulled up in front of me. I'll get into the cab, and the driver will follow me. I'd like to go to the city to relax because my mind is racing with theories about what caused Noah to break up with me.

We arrived in town an hour later. I informed the driver that I was going to the mall. A few minutes later, the car pulled over to the mall. I took some money from my wallet and handed it to him. I got out of the taxi after paying.

I took my time walking out of the taxi. As I passed in front of him near the mall's entrance, the guard grinned. I went to the mall supermarket to get some junk food and snacks.

I'm going to take a chip and crack it open before eating it. I've been craving these chips since yesterday. I'll eat quietly while leaning against the food stand when someone speaks.

"It's not polite to eat those foods without first paying for them," the man said his voice husky.

"What did the owner say to a beautiful woman like you when they saw you on their office CCTV?"

I can't bring myself to look at him, so I'll just keep eating. Then I noticed that the man was no longer by my side as if he had left because I hadn't said anything to him. After finishing the chips, I brought the empty cellophane to the counter to pay.

"Miss, I'll pay; I apologize for opening the chips; I'm pregnant and craving."

The cashier gave a friendly smile.

"Your husband already paid for that, Ma'am."

What I heard made my eyes widen. Noah and I, as far as I recall, ended our relationship. I was a little perplexed by the cashier's statement.

I haven't yet commented since I'm shocked. A woman once told me, as she handed me a pink paper bag,

"Ma'am, he left something for you; I'll just give it to you because he's still going elsewhere."

I snatched up the paper bag and carried it out of the mall, my brow furrowed. What does it contain? I went to a cafe near the mall. I walked in and went to the counter to place my order.

I ordered two slices of cake and a frappe. I went looking for a seat after the counter manager finished writing. I noticed an empty seat in the corner. I sat down and placed the paper bag and my sling on the table. But my curiosity about who is behind this paper bag craze is unending. While I waited for my order, I examined the paper bag. After I opened it, I took a look inside.

What I witnessed astounded me. The dress is made of paper bag contents; it is pink with a rose motif on the front and perforated on the back. What were the thoughts of the person who handed it to me? Noah dislikes giving gifts, so it's impossible that he gave them to me. Furthermore, there's no reason for him to give me this because we broke up and he already left me. I returned the garments to the paper bag, but I came to a stop when I came across a small box. As I lifted it, my brow furrowed, knowing the necklace was inside.

I immediately ripped open the small box. I was also shown a 60k white gold chain with a diamond on it. A pendant with etched initials that appears to be an infinite pattern is also available. Because the initials are small, I had to look closely to see the L.C.B., causing my brow to furrow. I'm confident it's not me. When did my initials change to LCB? I returned the necklace to the box before returning it to the paper bag.

My snacks arrived as well. The waiter landed it and then went back to the cafe kitchen. I'll start eating because after I'm done, I'll return to the mall and return this paper bag to them. Accepting a present from someone I don't know is difficult for me. I exited the cafe and returned to the mall. I walked right up to the cashier.

"I'll return it, Miss; you may have given it to the wrong person," I said as I slid the paper bag onto the counter.

"I'm too young to have an eye defect, Ma'am, and he pointed you out to me earlier while you were munching chips, so I can't be wrong," I felt humiliated.

I apologized, "I'm sorry."

Then I received some expensive items from an unknown person. Half an hour later, I finished my snacks. I stood up and went to pay at the counter. I'm carrying a paper bag and wearing my sling.
