"I know you have a lot to write because you're going through something right now; you pour your frustration and pain into your writing, and you'll still make money," she said, grinning at me.
"I'll think about it first; I'm feeling a little lazy right now."
"Don't even think about it; join right away."
"All right," I said.
"All right," she said cheerfully. She looked down at her phone.
"What are you looking at?" I asked.
"Nothing, I just contacted someone to add you to the list of writers," she explains.
"Really? Who?" I asked.
"Take a look at this,"
She handed her phone to me. And I examined it.
And I noticed a handsome man in the picture. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and smiling at the camera. I noticed the white of his teeth was evenly spaced. I noticed a tattoo near his neck.
Her high eyelashes and the tip of her nose matched her brown eyes.
My brow furrowed. This man is stunning. I just told myself that.
"It's my phone, Dionne, and it's as if you swallowed it by staring at our editor's photo," she explained.
I leaned back on the couch and handed her the phone.
"Are you certain that's the editor?" I asked.
"Yes, why do you doubt it?" she asked emphatically as she looked at me.
"How come he's so attractive?"
Ayesha chuckles. Does a man's attractiveness influence his career choice? "It inquired of me. I simply shrugged.
"Why are you so attractive but unemployed?" she said, laughing.
"Damn you, Ayesha; I know I don't have a job, but I'll give your suggestion a shot."
I can't get the man's face in the picture out of my head. I'm not sure why his personality is so appealing to me.
"All right, what do you want to eat? I'll cook for you," Ayesha said, inviting me to accompany her.
"I want to eat raw mango and dip it in sugar," Ayesha said, his face turning sour.
"How does it taste, Dionne?"
"Try getting pregnant, so you can feel my pain."
"Not now because I still want to do something in life," she said as she entered the kitchen.
I was sitting in my sister's living room. I went through my email and messenger. Many people have contacted me. An author. I also checked my email and discovered that many people had already turned in their manuscripts. I exclaimed. I'd like to go to bed early right now, but I have work to do. I stood up and went to Veronica's door.
"Can I borrow a laptop, Sister? I'm just going to do something," I explained.
She didn't say anything, but the door opened. She handed the laptop to me.
"What are you going to do?" she asked.
I winced as I looked at her flour-splattered face.
"Wash first, Veronica, your face doesn't look good," I advised.
"Damn you, Lennox, get out of my way!" she yelled, pushing me away.
I laughed as I took her laptop away. I sat back down on the couch, this time in front of the laptop. I'll begin reviewing the stories now so that they can begin when I pass them on to Clara. I sighed and yawned. I looked down at my watch. It's nine o'clock at night. When I notice Veronica behind me, I'll get up.
"Damn you, Veronica, why don't you talk over there?" I demanded. She burst out laughing.
"You're so preoccupied with what you're doing that I don't bother you anymore," she explained.
"What happened to Jia?"
"She's been dozing off for a while."
"Does Niccolo didn't go home?"
"He is on a business trip to Africa. He will be home next week. And Dad called me. He was annoyed because you walked out. When are you going to return to the mansion?"
"I will never go back there. Let him bleed in annoyance. You know, all I don't want is to interfere with my whole life's decisions. Doesn’t he get tired? From then until now? " I was shaken.
Veronica sighed.
"We can't change him anymore; he'll take his old age like that."
"What else?"
"Go to sleep too," I told her once, handing the laptop to her.
"Where are you going?" she asked me.
"Where else, not in the room? I plan to go to sleep too. "
She nodded and said,
"Good night."
I'm in the kitchen. while waiting for Arya to cook the dish.
"Arya!" I called out.
"Why, Dionne?" she asked me, while I was busy cooking.
"I want to eat raw mangoes."
"Yes, it's only a matter of time. Just wait. I will bring food to Kiley. It is soothing. He's still out tomorrow, so I don't want him to just eat snacks." She answered me.
"Do you only want to eat mangoes? You won't eat rice and a dish? " She asked me.
I shook my head and nodded.
"All right, put on the long ones first so you don't get cold, including the jacket with the hood." I nodded and left her in the kitchen.
I was touched by Ayesha's concern for me. I almost forgot that I was going to send money to my mother tomorrow. I wore leggings and then a long-sleeved shirt, and I also wore a jacket with a hood. and left the room. I found Ayesha sitting on the couch. It was well dressed, while next to it were two green Tupperware.
"Come on, Dionne. It's nine o'clock in the evening. "
So we got out and got into Kiley's car with Ayesha driving.
"Does it make a difference when you have a rich boyfriend? There's a new car," I asked.
"No, Dionne, just trying in life, we haven't started yet, let's just wait a long time."
"Luck will not come easily; it will be difficult to obtain."
"Yes, bad luck came first for me. The man has left, and I am now pregnant. " I said.
"A child is a blessing, Dionne, but you still don't want anyone to look after you when you get old." You're not like the other elderly people who wander the streets as if no one is looking.
"Silly, there's still time; I can find a man who will truly love me."
"That's exactly how it should be!"
"Just drive slowly, Arya, it's also night," I reminded her.
"Of course," she said as we arrived at Kiley's workplace.
"Would you like to go inside, Dionne?"
"No, I'll just wait here for you," I said.
When Arya left, I looked around, and it was cold outside. I reflected on my parents' presence in the city. It's also been a long time since I returned home. I'm not sure how they will react. Arya entered the car through the open door.
"Kiley said we shouldn't stay too long because it's already dark and you'll be cold."
"Of course," I said,
"Still, I can't believe it. " I said with a frown.
"Leave it alone. That is how serious men are. That only raises concerns about your safety. " Ayesha turned on the car.
"Dionne, keep your eyes peeled because there might be someone else selling mangoes there."
I nodded and took a look around. And we ended up in a city square.
"Here we go, Arya, stop the car," I say.
We exited the vehicle.
"There was also a mango vendor," Dionne stated,
It appears that fate intended for someone to sell mangoes.
"I'll feed you mangoes tonight," she promised, and my saliva began to drip as I gazed at the mango.
"I'll feed you mangoes tonight," she promised, and my saliva began to drip as I gazed at the mango.
"Don't make it too obvious that you want to eat mangoes; your saliva is dripping."
"Ayesha, please stop. I'm pregnant, so I can't stop myself from eating it. I won't eat it if I'm not pregnant. " As she watched me bite the mango, Ayesha's face turned sour.
Swallow it and then dip a slice in soy sauce and anchovies.
"It's delicious, Dionne," she said.
"It's as if you're having a baby right now, Ayesha."
"Whatever, Dionne, I'm not ready to have children yet, especially Kiley, who has a lot on his plate."
"Whatever, Dionne, I'm not ready to have children yet, especially Kiley, who has a lot on his plate."
"It's also better to prepare for pregnancy; otherwise, I'll just leave."
"It's also better to prepare for pregnancy; otherwise, I'll just leave."
She took my hand in hers.
"Dionne, don't even think about it. You must be tough. "
Then we heard my phone ring, and Noah called, as Arya and I exchanged glances.
"Don't answer that, Dionne," Arya said, widening her eyes at me.
"Maybe he just needs something from me, Arya, so I'll respond," I said.
Arya shook her head.
"Good day, Noah. Why?" I asked over the phone.
I almost cried when I heard his voice.
"Hello, Dionne." It's also been a month since he abandoned me. I missed him.
