4 phone

General Erox Lander.

The night was silent. I could even hear the midnight insects. I was about to sleep when I heard some noise. It came from the study room of my mansion.

Who could it be?

I walked outside to check it out, but I saw some of my guards already laying on the ground. I saw a man standing not so far away from me.

I'm a general of the kingdom of wolves in the time of King Artemis and Queen Anathela. But still, I'm a prince too. My father is the king of another kingdom, but my mother was only a mistress, so I couldn't be crowned prince of my father's kingdom because he had Aceller, my half-brother and his legitimate heir. But still, I was happy because I fulfilled my dream as a general, not for my father's kingdom, but for my mother's.

The guy I saw not too far away ran towards me. I pulled out my sword from its sheath and got ready. Whoever this man was, he couldn't kill me.

General Erox Lander.

The princess taught me how to park her car, and after that, I carried her bags. At least that's what she called this thing. I couldn't even carry it properly, but two guys helped me, and the princess said they were her house guards.

"Master, how's it? Did you hurt yourself when you saved Mam Margaret?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Did I know you?" I asked, because I'd never seen his face even once. The guard looked at his side, where the other guard, who was much older than him, maybe in his late forties, was standing.

"Butler John, I think madam would surely get mad because what the guard reported to you earlier is real. He couldn't recognize me."

That's what I heard from the guard. Were they insane? How could I recognize someone I didn't even know?

"Don't worry, I would explain to him all the things he needs to know."

The older guard said, and we kept on walking until we reached the door. From the parking lot to the door of this house was quite big, but my mansion was bigger than this.

I saw Princess Margaret enter the house and sit on the big sofa. The thing in her hand rang, and she lifted it to her ear.

"Hello Katrina? Yes, why? Ok, why not! When is that? Ok. I'll be there."

After talking to the rectangular thing, she lay back on the sofa. Then, just a minute of staring at it, she fell asleep.

She may have been too exhausted from what she did at the ocean. I carried her and asked the servant where her room was. She pointed to the pink door, even though she looked curious. Maybe she was thinking why I asked about something that simply mattered.

Actually, there's an idea in my mind now. But still, I need to confirm it. Maybe I'll ask the guards later.

I slowly laid the princess on her bed. And after that, I walked through her door and closed it.

The first thing I did was to find the guards, and when I saw them, I walked towards them. They were sitting near the gate? Well, maybe that was a gate, although it was too short for a gate because I used much bigger gates at every mansion in my dimension.

As I reached them, they looked at me like I was their true master. I wondered why they did that? As my princess told me, I was also a guard.

"Master, do you want us to accompany you to the hospital?" the two guards said.

I shook my head and signed the younger one to leave. The old one left so I could ask him. Because the fewer who knew what happened to me, the better.

"I'm okay. I just don't really understand why you're calling me a master?"

"It's because you are the one who pays us, and you only make Mam Margaret think that you're the only low-class person because you want to be with her all the time. As her guard." That was the old man.

Now I confirmed it. There was another me, or maybe a person who looked like me in this dimension. And there was now a big question for me.

"I thought when you left the other night, you would never come back. So I was surprised when the other guard called me that you were at Mam Margaret's photoshoot."

"Listen, hmm, what's your name?"

"Ismael, sir."

"Okay, Ismael, I want you to make this confidential. After I saved the princ... I mean Margaret, it seems like I forgot a lot of things. And because for now, you're the only one that I could trust. And I think you know me very well. You would be my right hand. You would say or tell me what I need to do and learn until I go back to my old self, okay?”

"Yes, master! It's my pleasure, sir!" I shook my head because he looked like my second hand in another dimension.

"Okay, the first thing that I want to ask is what is that thing that all of you are holding?"

Ismael lifted his hand, holding the rectangular thing. And smiled.

"Even this thing, master? You forgot it too?"

"Did I go to ask if I should not forget?"

"Hehehe. This is a cell phone. Through this thing, you can talk to the person even if they're not at your side. Even if they are miles away from you, or much farther away. Through this thing, you could be connected to your loved ones even if they are not here. You want a sample?" I nodded immediately, and Ismael tapped the cell phone, and a figure of a girl appeared and talked to him.

"Master, this is my wife, Rosalie. Dear, this is my boss."

"Hi, sir. Nice to meet you. Please take care of my husband! He's sometimes annoying, but he's a good person..." I just copied the girl, how she waved to the rectangular thing, and I answered her, "Yes, I will.”

"So how does this thing work? I'm actually impressed. This world is surely something that I would like to stay in for the rest of my life. Far away from where I grew up.”
