Chapter 4

Okay, I had known my mother didn't love me but giving me up for a debt u knew nothing about was out of the question.

It was like I was an object which could just be traded without the courage to say no.

So I did the one thing I hadn't done in many years u told her no and it seemed to infuriate her as she couldn't imagine that I had defiled her orders not only that I had done it in front of this man whom I didn't know but for sure he was a wealthy somebody.

I broke down and rushed to my room I could only hear a whisper of her telling the gentleman man who stood in their living room she was going to come to talk to me so I bolted my room door and after a few minutes of knocking on the door I finally gave in and opened up the door letting her in.

It didn't take up to a few minutes for her to convince me or more like threaten me with some of our family shit and told me this was the easiest way out.

She began by cajoling me before going into all lioness mood and I knew when she went into that mood it was going to be worst if I didn't do what she wanted so she told me she was going down to the living room and then she told me to be a good girl and come down and accept what was going to be my fate.

After her mother left she took a few minutes to cry a little it helped to cry out your pain sometimes even if it was just a few tear drops but what mattered was that everything was going good after the tears came down.

When she came down she met this man she knew nothing about smirking and looking at her from head to toe as if looking to find a mistake on her body and to reject her and how sweet it would have sounded in the ears Isabel she wanted him to just tell her parents that she wasn't what he wanted and they could find another way to settle their debt with him but oh no the jerk had to walk towards her walking around her and then he told her to do a 360 as if he had not just done that a few minutes ago she felt vulnerable and the fact that she could not do anything to save herself from this situation was beyond what she couldn't comprehend.

She had a lot to do in life she had college she had boys she had to date, she had friends she had to hang out with hell she had a life to live but now all of that was going to change because of her parent's stupid debt and she didn't even know what they used the money to do yet she was paying for it with her entire future being put in the hold and wanting to make their lives comfortable.

"Can't I just work at a cafe extra time and we figure out how to make this all go away?" she asked with the hopes that he could reconsider and tell her it was okay for her to work overtime and it seemed they had not told their beloved daughter how much they owed him.

"Seems your patents haven't told you how much they owe my company?', he asked jerking his eyes to get an answer from her and she shook her head indicating that it was a no.

Then he smiled as though he had won a jackpot the more reason why she was beginning to feel as though he loved the effect he was getting and sure enough he loved the effect he was getting from the entire family they were all shaken by his presence and were feeling the brunt of his burning gaze towards them.

So he turned and asked her parents,

" Of what good is she going to be to me she isn't my type that I would say I want to get married to," he said making Isabel feel like she wasn't beautiful or something it didn't bother her rather she was happy he was making such comments about her so she could be rejected and then she would have to go about her daily activities as though nothing had happened at their house over the weekend but her mother's big mouth just had to spoil the whole show.

"Oh, no she could be your servant, not your spec besides she can clean and cook so well," her mother said and tears were at the brim of falling as she saw get mother giving her up and not even finding a way to savour the situation without adding her into it.

Scott could not help but think that this family was a bizarre set which set of parents would want their chile out of their sight that much without fighting back to keep her and look for a lucrative solution to help the matter rather they were sending their daughter under the bus for their own mistake and wanting her to pay for it for the rest of her life but she didn't want to and they kept pushing and she had even offered to work overtime to help the situation but they wouldn't have it.

There was more than they were letting on but that was the none of his worries so he got up and told them straight that they were going to send their daughter to his house by noon the next day so she could begin her work, he could see the hope in Isabel's eyes as she looked to her parents hoping they could just for once tell her she was dreaming and everything would back to normal but she was wrong they were ready to let her go just like that, and she ran to her room crying and packing her small bag not believing anything that was happening.
