Chapter 9

“Oh, please. You can only die if we are claimed fated mates and the one die,” Blake snorted with laughter.

“We can do it on the beach so that I can walk the pain off afterward,” Xander stated.

“You can reject me first then it won’t be too much of a heartache for you,” Blake offered.

“How kind of you,” Xander said as if it was supposed to make it all better.

Xander walked as slowly as he could and Blake picked up on it, “if you walk any slower you will be standing still.”

“You are so eager to get this over and done with,” Xander remarked and sped up his walk even though he didn’t want to.

“Maybe if I was not with your brother things could have been different,” Blake said as their feet touched the sand.

“It shouldn’t be like this. Why is the fated mate bond not affecting you?” Xander inquired.

“Maybe because I am promised to Jnr, who knows,” Blake said and turned to Xander but Xander continued to walk towards where the waves ended on the sand.

Xander took his shoes off and rolled up his pants before walking into the water.

“Seriously?” Blake scolded and took off her shoes before joining him in the water.

“Ok, let's do this,” Xander said and took her hands unexpectedly sending sparks through the both of them.

“I,” Xander started, looking at their hands and then into her eyes that were on his lips.

Instead of continuing, he tilted his head towards hers and landed his lips on hers, letting go of her hands to wrap his arms around her waist, pulling her to his firm body her soft breast pressing against his chest.

Instead of pushing him away, Blake caved and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back.

Xander’s hands finds the zipper at the back of her dress and zipped it down, pulling the dress off her shoulders, exposing her full breast to the mercy of his mouth.

Blake threw her head back as she moaned at his wild sucking on her nipples, pressing her chest forward towards him while his one hand was at the nape of her back, supporting her.

Xander pushed her dress down, and it dropped into the water. He picked her up and took her a few steps out of the water before putting her down and taking off his classic shirt, laying it down on the sand.

‘We should stop,’ Blake thought, but at the touch of Xander’s hand pulling her down, she forgets all reason.

Blake felt hopeless under Xander’s body, his manhood pressing against his pants, desperate to be let out and penetrate his fated mate.

With a swift action, Xander had his pants undone and, while kissing Blake, he reached for her j-string and pulled it aside so that he can enter her.

Blake moaned at his fullness as he enters her slowly and with deep passion. The moonlight shines on them, allowing Xander to find her eyes. With their eyes open, he thrushes slow and deep into her, again and again.

Blake’s arms and legs were wrapped around Xander, passionately holding on to him as if her life depended on it.

Their bodies exploded at the same time. Xander kept himself inside of her, looking into her eyes.

“I Blake Langston, reject you Xander White as my fated mate,” Blake rejected him in a soft tone, looking into his eyes, with him still in her womanhood.

“I Xander White, don’t accept your rejection,” Xander responded wiping hair out of the side of her face before pinning her one hand down next to her and starting to thrust back and forth into her again as he started to feel his heartbreak.

Xander thrust harder and harder, as if it will take the heartache away and Blake moaned in pleasure, oblivious to the pain she was putting him through.

After Xander exploded into her again with tears running down his face he released her and got up. He pulled up his pants and fastened his fly before walking off, leaving Blake laying on his shirt.

Blake looked up at the stars and the moon, resting her arms next to her body as if she was paralyzed.

After a while, she sat up. “Crap,” she exclaimed, realizing her dress was in the ocean.

Blake stood up and picked up Xander’s shirt and shook it out before putting it on. She walked off the beach to where she left her shoes and clutch and booked an Uber.

Instead of going to her apartment, she went to one of her girlfriend’s dorm rooms.

Blake got a message early the next morning from Jnr. “Where are you?”

“I met up with a girlfriend after the dinner and we got wasted so I slept over. I am on campus, see you in class,” Blake responded in text.

Kim borrowed one of her girlfriend’s dresses after showering and made her way over to class.

“Thank you for joining us Miss Langston,” the professor greeted Blake sarcastically.

Blake noticed that Xander was not around and tried to mind link him.

‘Did my side of the rejection work?’ Blake wondered when she couldn’t get through to Xander.

“Shaman Zeth is meeting us at your apartment tonight,” Jnr whispered.

“Why?” Blake wondered in a whisper back.

“To put a fated mate spell over us,” Jnr respond.

“Oh, ok. Great,” Blake whispered.

“What happened at dinner last night?” Jnr wondered since he noticed that Xander was not around.

“Nothing much,” Blake replied uncomfortably with memories filled with a passionate love-making session with Xander.

Blake looked over at Jnr and then back to the front of the class, thinking, ‘I have never made love to Jnr the way I do with Xander. Did I make a mistake?’

After class on their way home, Blake got a mind link from Shaman Zeth telling her that they should meet at the castle instead.

“Shaman Zeth just mind linked me. He said to meet at the castle instead,” Blake repeated his words.

“I really don’t want to go to the castle,” Jnr protested.

“We will be chosen mates before the end of the day so let’s just go, please,” Blake said, squeezing his leg.

Jnr made a U-turn and sped off to the castle.
