Sophia reprimanded Luna, saying, "Luna, you know you shouldn't talk that way to Marina."

I can do anything I want, she said.

Snapped.

Luna stood up from the stool she was seated on and approached me. Like a predator would do to its prey, she surrounded me.

Luna spits out "Pathetic human" in disdain. I muttered, "I'm not a human.

"And what was that? I had trouble understanding it, "She remarked with a sly grin.

I declared that I was not a human.

Right, she said stutteringly.

"He is not what you deserve! Do. You are pitiful and feeble. You can never satisfy him as much as I can, "Luna murmured.

My heart felt like it broke into a million pieces at hearing her words. She had slept with Alpha Ryan. And here I was, saving myself for a partner who couldn't maintain her underwear.

I woke up with wrath; I've never felt so angry. I suddenly turned around and threw her to the ground, as if something had taken control of me. I jumped on top of her and punched her repeatedly.

She was present when I needed someone to vent my hurt and rage on since I was so overwhelmed by it. She manipulated me and turned us over. At this point, I was being struck hard by her fist. As much as I tried to block them, it was useless.

When it came to fighting, I had no experience. Honestly had no idea how to protect me, and my wolf was still being evasive. At this point, as she proceeded to attack me, I was coughing up blood.

I was placed on my tummy by Luna, who also wrenched my arms back.

She said in my ear, "Pathetic," then I heard a break and terrible pain.

When I yelled in pain and agony, she stood up from me. I struggled to move my left hand as tears clouded my eyes. I felt more discomfort the more I tried to move it.

Someone yelled, "What did you do?"

"She requested it. She assaulted me."

You didn't need to break her arm, I tell you! The person screamed.

Sophia sat down next to me and supported my upright position. The tears continued to fall as I cradled my shattered arm close to my chest. I clutched my left hand with my right and pushed through the pain to lean back against the wall.

Everyone looked at me in awe as my hand began healing immediately. Ah, I see. Unusual abilities that nobody has ever heard.

I was faster at healing than any wolf. I may also utilize my abilities to harm or heal other people. I've made an effort to avoid utilizing it in public since I don't want anyone to learn about it and use my abilities.

According to the texts I've read, the most potent healer is born once every hundred years. Additionally, it said that the healer's mission was to purify and stabilize the world. I was sent here to defend and heal.

How did you find out? Sophia looked at me with big eyes and a question in her mouth.

To persuade them that it was expected. she said, "Don't all werewolves heal?

"Yeah, but not that fast."

A strong voice roared, "What going on in here?"

Luna pointed at me and sprinted into my mate's arms, saying, "She attacked me."

The worst part was that she clung to him and he didn't even try to push her away. I was jealous as I watched her in his embrace. He didn't hug her or do anything else but stand there and look at me.

Before Luna buried her face in his chest, she looked back at me and grinned triumphantly. More than anything, I wanted to cry.

I sprang up off the floor and bolted from the room so no one would see the tears trying to escape.

What did you anticipate, Marina?

Really, you expected him to come to your aid and sweep you off your feet like a prince charming?

Not a fairytale, this. This was the truth. I'm forced to concede that what Luna stated might have been accurate.

The door slammed open as I prepared for some much-needed fresh air. A man rushed in a while, holding a young boy in his arms. Drenched in blood

What took place? He rushed into the kitchen without answering my question. I followed him inside and saw him placing the young child on the counter. I approached the counter without stopping, pushing my way through the mob to get to him.

I leaned in to hear his weak heartbeat and said, "I can help him."

He would die if he didn't obtain medical help soon away. No one was interested in hearing me

POV of Marina

I tried to get everyone away from me by saying, "I need some space, " so I could treat the youngster.

As they moved away from me, I checked the youngster to see how seriously hurt he was. I gasped in horror as I observed the child's features. On his hip's left side, there was a terrible bite. Even a piece of flesh was missing from there.

I quickly sprung into action, covering his wound with both hands while inhaling deeply. I tried to concentrate on mending the boy while I closed my eyes. My hands felt warm and tingly as my flesh burnt, but not in a way that hurt.

When I opened my eyes, I saw the youngster illuminated by a yellow glow from beneath my hands. As the power poured from me into the boy, I could see the swirls of gold in my palms as I looked down. I looked at the boy's skin and noticed the wound was gradually healing.

It was effective.

At the same time, I was shocked and amazed. Since I haven't cured someone since I was six years old, I wasn't sure if it would work. At that moment, I was terrified and alarmed after accidentally healing Benjamin. Since then, I have solely done my healing.

When I looked at the boy's innocent face was no longer distorted in misery. He had the calm appearance of someone who had just fallen asleep.

She was so preoccupied with the boy that she was unaware of her surroundings. While the boy was being healed, the power was gradually robbing me of my life. I made an effort to quit, but I was unsuccessful. Even after he recovered completely, it felt like my hands were stuck to his hip.

I tried to pull away once more, but the power was only getting stronger. I had lost all energy and was gradually losing consciousness. My existence was slowly evaporating in front of my eyes as black specks started to appear.

Hands encircled my waist when my thoughts would have otherwise died and yanked me away from the boy. A rush of energy was released as a result of abruptly pushing away from the boy when we split apart.

We were all driven apart by the energy and fell to the ground together. I was being held firmly in the arms of someone when I fell on top of them.

That I don't recall much after that because my vision started to become foggy, and I eagerly embraced the darkness.

There was nothing or no one here except myself as I stood in a white mass of space. When I turned to look, all I saw was white. It felt like you were in the liminal state between life and death. This implied that I either died or I was hallucinating.

I saw that I was donning a lengthy white gown when I looked down. A woman wearing a long white dress was standing before me when I turned to gaze up. She sparkled and had the appearance of an angel.

She bowed and said, "Hello, Marina", with a pleasant smile.

She added, "We have been waiting for you.

"Where is this located? Why am I here? what took place." Before she stopped me, I kept asking questions.

"The choice is between life and death for you. Usually, after I have explained your reason for being here and you have the opportunity to do so, I would send you back, "She spoke up.

I hesitantly uttered, "Um... ok."

"You're still alive. Right now, your body is unresponsive, as if you were in a profound sleep from which you cannot awaken, "She explained further. Even though I wasn't sure what she meant, I nodded in agreement.

She said, "I'm guessing that the power inside you almost killed you", more as a statement than a question.

How did you find out?

"I am all-knowing. You are not the first of your kind to experience this. "She smiled as she added.

'Who am I?'
