Chapter 5 Cut The Loss In Time

Clarissa leaned against the car window feebly. Looking at the night scene outside the window, her eyes misted with tears.

She kept thinking of Elliot, but she only felt that it was ridiculous.

Lara had bullied her so many times when her family members did not know, but she endured it in silence. She thought that Lara would let her go if she didn't fight back, but Lara became more and more arrogant.

She was not a naturally cowardly person, so she fought back when she couldn't stand Lara anymore. But Elliot thought that it was her who bullied Lara?

She was driven out of the Chapman family, and everyone in Visstead knew that she was a daughter that the Chapman family did not want. Elliot's grandmother was even more unsatisfied with her.

In order not to make things difficult for Elliot, she didn't want to appear with him in front of the public. But he thought that she refused to accompany him to socialize?

As for selling adult erotica products...

If her mother didn't die, and if the Chapman family was not selfish and partial, how could she live such a terrible life?

But Elliot thought that it was all her own fault!

Clarissa closed her eyes. She felt so melancholy and ironic.

A man's voice suddenly sounded, "Is it worth it to be sad for such a man?"

She was slightly stunned and turned around. With dizzy eyes, she saw a noble man sitting there with a straight back and a cold face.

It was only then that she remembered that she seemed to be in a man's car. The man helped her in the bar just now.

She didn't want to show her awkward and dejected face in front of others. She wiped the tears on her face, "I'm not feeling sad for him!"

Anderson raised his eyebrows and looked at her. His eyes fixed on her red but beautiful eyes.

Clarissa explained, "I didn't cry for him. I cried for myself."

For the past years which had been wasted and deceived.

Anderson nodded in agreement.

"Do you know what the best way to deal with the failure of investment is?"

"What is it?"

"Cut the loss in time."

He said these words in a low voice, which made her heart tremble.

She turned to look at him. Under the dim light, Anderson was tall and straight. The light cast a shadow on his side face, which made his facial features look more defined and noble.

She had seen good-looking men before. Elliot was one of them.

However, the man in front of her was much more handsome than Elliot.

Just like stars could not shine as brightly as the sun and the moon, the man in front of her was too charming. He was commanding and noble, just like a powerful eagle soaring in the sky.

Not to mention that he had a perfect face that was enough to make all the women scream excitedly.

She was attracted by him and an absurd idea flashed through her mind.

Staring at his handsome side face, she swallowed hard and said, "I see."

After a pause, she suddenly asked, "What do you think of selling adult erotica products?"

Anderson frowned, "It's a normal industry. It's just like other industries. I don't have any special opinions."

Clarissa smiled faintly.

At this moment, she was half drunk and half sober. In a light tone, she said with watery eyes, "I also think so."

Anderson suddenly smelled a fragrance. He tilted his head slightly and saw that she had suddenly sat up straight, and she was leaning the upper half of her body towards him.

"Do you think I'm beautiful?"

Anderson's back stiffened.

Undoubtedly, she was beautiful.

Not only was she beautiful, but she was also sexy and gorgeous.

Although she only wore a simple beige coat and a white singlet, she looked unemotional and attractive from the inside.

He suddenly thought that there were no most beautiful but only more beautiful women in the world.

He swallowed hard, but he didn't say anything.

After a while, he said uneasily, "Yeah."

Clarissa moved closer to him. She whispered in his ear and she thought that her voice was very low, "If I want to sleep with you, will you agree?"

"Puff!"

David, who was driving, couldn't help laughing.

The next second, he felt that Anderson was glaring at him with piercingly cold eyes.

He quickly stopped smiling and raised the baffle in the middle of the car.

Only then did Anderson turn his head to look at Clarissa.

He narrowed his eyes slightly and said with meaningful eyes, "You have to pay the price for sleeping with me. Are you sure?"

Clarissa laughed, "Money? I have money."

As she spoke, she took out her wallet from her bag and took out all the cash.

"Count it. If it's not enough, I can transfer money to you."

Only then did Anderson realize that what she had just said was not a joke. She was serious.

He got a little nervous and rubbed the place between his eyebrows.

"Are you going to sleep with whomever saved you tonight?"

Clarissa shook her head.

She suddenly chuckled and reached out to pat his face.

"I'm not that stupid. I want to sleep with you because you are so handsome. Aren't they looking down on me? I'm going to find someone who is much better than him. I want to piss them off!"

Anderson didn't expect that her answer would be like this.

He felt a little helpless. Apparently, he didn't intend to take her words seriously.

At this moment, the car suddenly braked.

Clarissa was drunk, so she rushed forward because of her inertia. If Anderson hadn't pulled her back quickly, she would have fallen and hurt herself.

Anderson asked with his face darkened, "What's going on?"

David's voice came from in front of him, "I'm sorry, Mr. Jordan. We've arrived at Estdal Manor."

"Go back now!"

"Okay!"

The sound of the car door being closed came from the front. Anderson turned around and looked at Clarissa in his arms. When he saw that she was drunk and her beautiful face blushed, he frowned.

"Here we are. Get off the car!"

However, Clarissa did not move. She leaned against his arms and looked up at his noble face.

His face was detached and cold, but his lips were thin and sexy. As he spoke, he looked so attractive.

Clarissa was drunk and impulsive.

She put her arms around his neck and kissed his lips.

Anderson's back stiffened and he opened his eyes wide in surprise. The next second, Clarissa ended the kiss.

Clarissa giggled when she saw his stunned look.

"Your lips are so sweet."

Anderson was speechless.

Holding back the urge to throw her out of the car, he said in a low voice, "Let go of me!"

Clarissa didn't move and blinked her eyes. When she saw his handsome and cold face, her eyes suddenly glistened with tears.

"Do you also think that I am rigid, not gentle and not romantic, so you are not willing to sleep with me?"

Anderson said with his face tightened, "No."

"Then why don't you agree with me?"

She seemed to feel wronged all of a sudden. Tears kept running down her pale face, like glittering gems.

For some reason, he felt a little distressed.

Clarissa kept crying, and soon his clothes were wetted.
