Chapter 7

Caleb

Yesterday I called my dad to tell him about the situation and he was pretty upset about the company so I went to see Elena to put some pressure on her but it didn't have the desired effect at all. And to think that this little bitch thinks that my father would have killed her parents. She's delusional.

I did everything I could to avoid the others because I was in a terrible mood.

At lunchtime, I go to Theo's office to see if he wants to go out for lunch. As usual, I enter without knocking and what do I see? Theo and Elena laughing and eating fucking burritos. What the fuck is this again?

"I wanted to see if you wanted to go out to lunch but I see that ...." I'm cut off when Finn arrives in the office as well.

"Are you guys having a meeting without me?" he asks with a smirk.

"Elena wanted us to go over a few things together. She suggested we work together on the management of the company since she'd have to go back to New York from time to time."

I guess you could say that's good news, at least we'll always have an eye on her business.

"Cool," Finn told her as he went to sit next to Theo and grabbed a burrito.

"There's enough for you if you want," Elena says to me amused.

I grunt and walk out of the office slamming the door. Those two jerks are eating out of her hand. They all decided to mess with me today.

I spent the rest of the day holed up in my office but was still thrilled when Finn texted me to go to the Spotlight for a drink.

Finn

After having lunch with Elena and Theo I would have preferred to spend the afternoon with them. I almost regret not getting to know her sooner, this girl has everything to please. She's funny, smart and super hot. For the first time in my life, I can't get a girl out of my head. Maybe if I fuck her it will pass? To spend as much time with her as possible, I proposed her and Theo to go for a drink. I have to find a way to get her out of my head.

We sat down at our usual table and ordered a first round, then a second and a third. Theo and I asked her a bunch of questions about her uncle, her business, and about fucking Matt. I don't know why I'm jealous, truth be told I shouldn't care if she's banging a guy.

Caleb finally shows up when Elena has gone to get the fourth round of drinks.

He looks relaxed, which means he hasn't noticed her yet. He sits down next to me and that's when Elena comes back to our table with a tray of shots.

"I hope you like tequila." She announces happily as she places it on the table, she looks up and notices Caleb. "Oh hi, Cal I didn't think you would be here."

"And I didn't know you would be here either." He replies through clenched teeth.

"Chill out man or leave," I tell him seriously. "Up until now, we were having a good time."

"Okay." He responds by rolling his eyes.

We each take a shot and drink it down. A drop drips down Elena's chin and slides down to between her breasts. She plunges her finger between her breasts to catch it and then sucks her finger. I don't need to look at Theo or Caleb to know that they too are following her every move. She looks up with her finger still in her mouth and slowly takes it out. Well, now I have a hard-on.

Theo clears his throat. "So things are going well at Griffin's?"

"Yes, but I'll be able to go to my parent's house soon. The cleaning crew is coming tomorrow, they're going to empty the house, clean everything and restore the furniture that was damaged by the humidity..."

"Which company is it?" I ask her because we don't have that kind of service at the Pack.

"I don't remember the name. Matt's the one who fixed it."

The three of us grunt and she looks at us surprised then stifles a laugh and shakes her head.

"I think I'm tipsy because for a moment I thought you were jealous of Matt." She laughs as she swings her head back. The movement makes her chest stand out a little more from her blouse.

That's when I realized I'd never get her out of my head and when I see the look on Theo and Caleb's faces, I don't think they ever will either. Even though he will never admit it to himself.

She takes another shot and Theo places his hand over hers.

"Are you sure? If you're already..."

She cuts him off by placing her index finger on his lips and then slowly moves closer to his face. "Shh. Don't worry I'll walk home. Besides, Griffin has a girl at his house so I have to wait for his okay to go home." She said as she rolled her eyes and pulled her finger away.

"You can come to my place if you want," Theo tells her and we all look at him like he's grown a second head. "We're adults and I have a guest room."

"Ok sold!" She answers him and drinks her shot. And she's the one we're now looking at wide-eyed.

One shot later, she is completely drunk and Theo carries her over his shoulder to put her in his car. Caleb follows us with an impassive face. As we watch them drive away, I turn to Caleb to ask him the question that had been bothering me for a long time.

"Are you going to tell me what the problem is between you two? Because I honestly never understood and I want to know. Why did we put such a great girl through all this?"
