Fortunate mistake
"What is it?"
"How could that happen?" The voices were so loud that the physician woke up from his cat nap. After working for so long on the tea, he took a nap on the table. Hearing his assistant’s shouts, he woke up from his sleep. Rubbing his eyes, he stood up and walked over to where his assistants were gathered. They were all staring at the bag in disbelief.
He tried to mind link Beta Alvin, but it was useless; he is unavailable. He did not waste any time; he rushed to the Alpha's quarters. As soon as he arrived at the quarters, he knocked on the door and waited for a response. After a few moments, the door opened, and he was greeted by Beta's mother, Jane. "What brings you here?" she asked, her tone indicating that she was shocked by his unexpected visit.
"Did you feed him the Tea?" He asked as he huffed for air.
"Yes, just a minute ago," she answered, as realization drew to her, both rushing towards the Alpha room.
As they entered the alpha room, they saw that the tea had worked its magic. The Alpha was now calmer and more at ease. "Thank goodness," she said, breathing a sigh of relief. "I was worried he would never calm down." He nodded in agreement, impressed by the power of the tea.
"It's amazing what natural remedies can do," he remarked, eyeing the Alpha with newfound respect. They both stood there for a moment, silently observing the alpha as he rested peacefully. They smiled at him warmly, happy to have helped him in his time of need. Alvin saw Physician and his mother's worried faces as they left the room.
He walked out along with them.
"What happened? You both looked worried." He inquired.
"You stay here and let me know if Alpha wakes up. I wanted to get his status as soon as he wakes up." The physician informed Beta. Beta and his mother exchanged a concerned look before turning to the physician. "Is everything all right with Alpha?" they asked, hoping for some reassurance.
The physician hesitated before responding, "I'm afraid it's too early to tell. We'll have to wait and see how he responds to treatment."
He walked out along with them.
"What happened? You both looked worried." He inquired.
Not happy with his response, Jane followed him out. "You are hiding something, Lucas," she said.
"The air today is drifting into positivity. I think things will change from now on." Lucas turned to face Jane with a hint of frustration on his face.
"I assure you, I am not hiding anything," he replied. Jane still looked at him, waiting for his reply. "The blood bags changed," he whispered.
Jane raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean the blood bags changed?" she asked. Lucas let out a deep sigh before continuing.
"The blood bags we received from the hospital today differed from the ones we usually get. They were labeled with a different code and had a strange logo to them," he explained.
Jane looked at him skeptically, but Lucas continued to defend himself. "I'm telling you; something is not right here. We need to investigate this further and find out what is going on," he said firmly. Jane nodded in agreement, realizing that there was more to this situation than meets the eye. As they walked away, Lucas could not help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. Maybe things were finally starting to turn around for them after all.
"I think my intuition is correct, Lily isn't his mate," she said with a sigh.
"I think same too" Lucas agreed to her statement.
"That boy deserves happiness, and I trust the moon goddess will not leave him alone." She said staring at the red moon. Lucas agreed with her statement.
As they stood there in silence, the moon's glow seemed to intensify. The air was thick with anticipation, and a sense of foreboding hung in the air. Suddenly, a howl pierced through the stillness, and they both jumped in surprise. It was a sound that could only come from a wolf. They looked at each other with wide eyes, wondering what it could mean.
"Did you hear it?" Lucas questioned Jane
"I did too" Jane nodded.
Alpha Maxwell Lynch of Bloodstone Pack woke up.
