Chapter 4

**Zander

Past**

My heart was racing in my chest. I couldn’t believe we were actually going to do this tonight. I didn’t even remember being this nervous during my first time. That was a different experience. I didn’t feel that way about her as I do Winter. I never knew I could even feel this way until I met Winter. Now, I was going to be her first. Winter may not be aware of this yet, but it had only been a matter of time before it was going to happen. We couldn’t risk her losing it to someone else. I would have to kill them.

“Are you sure about this?” Royal asked me.

“We got to do this now,” I said with a quick nod. “She was talking to that boy, Rex in Spanish the other day. Saint saw her.”

Saint also nodded. “They were pretty cozy and I heard that he was going to ask her out. She will most likely say yes.”

“Fine,” Royal said crossing his arms. “Are we all going in together or one at a time?” I couldn’t tell what Royal’s problem seemed to be. If he didn’t like the idea of taking her virginity or if it was the idea that I was going to be the one who did it. Royal was known to get everything he wanted. Girls included. He could be upset that this is the one thing he didn’t get. I won though. I am the leader.

Cyrus grunted from behind Saint. Cyrus never spoke more than maybe one word. For as long as I have known him, he barely spoke. No one really knew why he didn’t speak many words. He used to be made fun of pretty badly for it. He would get in fights with people who picked on him, almost getting him expelled because he would beat the kid senselessly. That was til Royal, Saint, and I came along. Now, everyone knew not to mess with him. If anyone messed with one of us, they knew exactly who they would get.

“Hush, Cyrus,” I said rubbing my face. He wanted her first too. He might not voice it, but he did. I knew it by how he acted. He had never wanted a girl like this before. Sure, he had hookups, but they meant nothing to him. Not like Winter.

Who would have thought Winter would have caught all of our eyes like this? I knew she would have caught mine. When she moved in here at eight years old. I wanted to hate her. Hate her for ruining my life. Her being there meant my parents would never get back together. Her in the house made it just feel so real. I had hope up until my dad moved Winter and her mom into the house. It was all ruined when a little auburn hair girl walked into my house and moved into the room next door to me. The door I was standing out now. I wanted to hate her. I did, but in the end, I couldn’t.

“I am going in and this is the end of the conversation,” I said as I reached to turn the handle.

“What if she says no?” Royal questioned, stopping me in my tracks. I took a huge sigh. That was something I thought of, but I quickly pushed it away.

“She won’t,” I said as I walked through the door.

I walked in to see her sitting at her computer typing something. Probably doing homework. She was always such a good student. She got straight As throughout school. Such a cute little nerd. I watched her for a bit. She had stopped typing and started twirling her hair. She had recently dyed it silver for some dumb reason. She was still beautiful, but her auburn would always be my favorite.

I walked behind her and took her headphone out of her ear. “What you doing, sissy?” I asked her using my nickname for her.

She jumped in the chair. “Zander,” She gasped. “What the hell are you doing in here? Haven’t you ever heard of knocking?”

I shrugged. “My house,” I told her as I sat down on the bed.

She eyed me as I did. “What do you want?” She asked. I could tell she was annoyed. It only made this sweeter. I didn’t want to tell the guys this, but I hoped she put up a little fight. I knew she wanted this as badly as I did. She just didn’t want to admit it.

“Can’t I come to see what you are doing,” I asked cocking my head to the side.

“You have seen, now leave.” She said trying to turn back around on her desk. “Give me my headphone back.” She said as reached out her hands. Only I didn’t give it to her. I took her hand in mine and pulled her up from the chair. I pulled her all the way down on top of me. My hands landed on her hips.

“What the fuck, Zander?” She asked. I knew she could feel it. My hard cock was pressed against her stomach.

I shrugged before flipping us over and pinning her to the bed. “I thought we could have some fun,” I said, licking my lips as I looked into her bright blue eyes. Her eyes went huge.

“No, no,” she said trying to push me off. “You are sick. You are just teasing me. Stop it.” She hit my chest.

Yes, one of the things I loved about Winter. She had that fire inside her. She always fought back. I knew it the moment she stood up for her mom instead of letting me talk shit. She was the hottest Winter I had ever seen.

“Come on,” I said pinning her hands down. “You know you want to. Don’t you want me to take care of you?”

“I am a virgin though,” She confessed. “I can’t. I want it to be someone special.”

“Am I not special?” I said as I moved a piece of hair out of her eyes.

She shook her head, “No, you are an asshole.” She tried to push me off again, but I held on to her tight. I leaned down and kissed her lips. I moved my hips slowly against hers. She slowly stopped fighting and closed her eyes. I could hear a small whimper escape her lips.

“I know you think about me. These walls are thin. You don’t think I can hear you some nights, but I can.”

Her eyes snapped back open, but I quickly shushed her. “Let this happen. I will be gentle. Trust me, this will be very special.” I would make sure of it. I would make sure she never forgot me. She might want the others, but I want this special bond with her.

She nodded as she finally kissed back. Her fight left her body. She wanted this. She wanted me. And she would have me. I was never letting her go.
