Few weeks Later
Aurelio was dressed up in a grey suit and a white long sleeve shirt. He's up again, another beautiful morning.
He's got a lot of plan for the day, “Aren't you gonna eat something before leaving?" Erica asked him from behind.
He took his last step down the stairs after planting a kiss on her neck.
“Neck kisses early in the morning honey?“
" Is there anything wrong with that?“ He replied with a side smile
" It's just.. I felt... Uhmm, don't worry “she replied. Aurelio laughed lowly.
He understood what she meant.
Neck kisses are really one to spice up that moment, and for Erica, she gets turned on after getting lot of kisses on her neck.
“I can eat you instead" he replied and walked back to her as he wrapped his hands around her neck and lowered his face to hers to kiss her lips.
Erica sucked from his lips gently, her eyes slowly went closed as she moved her lips in perfect synchronization with his.
“You should have breakfast then leave for work honey" Erica said to him as she pulled away.
“Yeah, sure I will, and you wanna stay at home today right?“ He asked her.
She gave a side smile, she has plans to go see the Doctor and know her baby gender after the scan and she doesn't want Aurelio to know.
After the hospital, she wants to go see her sister in jail and her sick father which she doesn't want him to know about either.
“Yeah, sure" she replied with a smile.
He stared at her for sometime and sighed “be careful with whatever you're doing okay?" He asked her as he cupped her cheeks.
Erica gave him a side smile and nods her head “yes honey, I'd be fine for sure" she replied.
Aurelio walked to the dining room with Erica by his side, they sat down together to have breakdown and as soon as he was done, he set out to leave for work.
“Goodbye love" Erica waved her hands at him.
He walked back to her and planet a soft kiss on her lips, “bye my love"
With that being said, he walked to his car with Rowan and drove out of her sight slowly.
Erica released a heavy sigh and turned back heading to her room.
“So first things first, I'll be going to see Jemma and her mother" she thought.
She was still on the hospital bed when Jemma got arrested, she never saw her mom after that did she?
Erica got back into her room after some minutes on the stairs and in the hallway.
“What do we wear??" She smiled and walked to her standing mirror to see her belly bump was slowly getting visible and would only be obvious to people that know how flat her tummy used to be.
She had a beautiful smile on her face as she turned around to go into the bathroom.
“First things first, shower” she winked at no one in particular and pulled the slide door as she stepped into the bathroom slowly taking off her clothes.
Her bathe was ready, her body wash products were arranged on the glass side stool beside the white big bathtub.
She looked at the tub and chuckled lowly. The day she told Aurelio he would face the penalty, she really meant what she said because she made him face the penalty in that tub.
Erica folded her lips in with a smile on her face.
After having a long bath, Erica stepped out of the tub with her white fluffy towel tied around her chest.
She walked to the exit and pulled the slide door to the left side then walked out majestically to her walk-in closet to pick the perfect dress for the day.
“This floral high waist skirt should go on this white shirt don't you think Erica?" She asked herself and chuckled lowly then reached for it.
In less than 10 minutes, she made use of her body lotion, her body spray and the rest of her skin care products then was dressed up.
Sitting before her dressing table, she untied her hair and let it fall down to her shoulders and went to reach for her hair brush.
Next few minutes,
She was all set. “Let's get going Erica" she giggled, so excited that she would find out her baby's gender today.
Erica walked out of her room with her white Chanel bag in her hand and her sunglasses in the other hand.
She got down the stairs and met one of Aurelio's men around.
As soon as he sighted her, he walked to her.
“Heading somewhere ma'am?" He asked her politely
“Yeah sure, the hospital, the family hospital" she replied with a smile.
“Mind if I drive you?" He asked
“You wanna? I was about asking for one, since you're here, yes please" she replied and he bowed his head then walked to the door leading the way out of the living room.
Erica got to the car garage, where her own car was parked.
She stood by the back seat and sighted he was coming over to open the doors then spoke up “Hey no it's okay, I can do this myself" she replied and pressed the button on the car keys.
The car made a beep sound signaling 'opened'.
“Here you go" she said handling the car key to him and sat at the back seat.
Meanwhile, Aurelio had arrived at the company and was presently seated in his office.
As the CEO of BerCam Paragon groups, there was really not much work he has to do.
Everyone were assigned to various work in the company.
He was seated on the swivel chair in his office spinning slowly from the left to the right.
Aurelio has been thinking a lot lately, and it's about Aryan.
He had gotten no sign or whatever from Aryan that is to say nothing from him. He had been quiet since the day Aurelio got his men and killed them.
“I'm not an idiot, I know you're planning something Aryan, and you won't get it.." he said to himself and locked his fingers together.
Erica had booked her appointment before now with the Doctor, she would just see the doctor, get the results, and then leave to show it to Aurelio.
“Mrs Aurelio" the Doctor said as he stepped into his office.
He saw her seated on the chair, “I am so sorry for keeping you waiting" he apologized
“Hey no, it's okay..how are you Doctor?" She smiled
“I'm fine thank you, and how are you too? How is Aurelio doing?" He replied
" Very well thanks” she smiled
" I see you are here for the CT scan right?“he asked her
“Yeah I am"
“Good, let's know the baby gender today, I am so excited too, I'll ask the nurse to prepare the Lab" he replied and she giggled.
Then he picked up the telephone beside him “Mrs Aurelio is here for the scan, is everything set?" He spoke up
“Yes doctor" a feminine voice replied
“We are coming now" he replied and ended the call.
He got up his chair and Erica did same too “so let's go"
Erica was laid on the bed in the lab, her shirt was lifted up her tummy.
She was really nervous, her breath were shaky.
“You should calm down Miss" he said to her.
She nodded her head and let out a sigh then shut her eyes close.
The Doctor started performing the test by spreading a clear, water-based gel on Erica's belly and pelvis area.
She felt damn cold immediately, the gel was really cold on her.
A handheld probe was then moved over the area. The gel helps the probe transmit sound waves.
These waves bounce off the body structures, including the developing baby, to create a picture on the ultrasound machine.
And then He turned to the TV screen up on the wall to see the results.
“Wow!"
Now that wow is giving Erica double thought.
The car parked before the police station, “this one right?" The driver asked her.
“Yeah…" she replied and fixed her eyes on it, should she go against Aurelio?
She isn't in the mood anymore to see Jemma nor her mom.
" I'm sorry let's head home” she replied
" Alright ma, it's okay, no problem at all” he replied and drove away.
Evening came by so fast,
Erica smiled at the result in her hand, all she is waiting for now is for Aurelio to return home.
She packed the result back in the envelope and kept it back in small purse.
She had a plan to make dinner herself tonight and serve Aurelio herself.
Erica walked out of her room happily with the purse to the kitchen, the maids around stopped to look at her after they bowed.
“Good evening ma'am, do you need anything?" One of them asked
" No not at all, I just want to prepare dinner myself” she smiled
" What happened ma? Was there any problem with the food you ate before?“ Another one asked shakily
" What? No, you're all good chefs believe me. I just want to make dinner, y'all should rest, I'll do the cooking” Erica smiled.
All of them were beaming in happiness, again they are going to eat her meal.
Few minutes later
The beautiful aroma of different meals filled the atmosphere.
Aurelio had just stepped into the house and saw her by the dining arranging dishes with the maids on the table.
He was totally confused “honey..what are you doing there?" He asked her immediately.
She turned to him and ran to jump on him “baby!! You're back" she squealed and kissed his neck.
Now he's getting more confused.
“Is everything okay love? You seem so happy" he chuckled as she pulled away and pulled him to the dining.
“I made dinner tonight, and I invited your family too, they'd be here soon" she replied.
“Ohh..did something happen?" He asked her.
She ignored his question and took off his suit as she hung it on his seat.
He looked down at the dining and saw different meals, Texas Barbecue, rice and chicken with vegetable salad.
A bowl of stew with chicken too.
Tacos were there too, Italian pastas and sauce, along side with meatloaf and pork chops.
“Okay honey, there are too many meals here, what's going on?“ He asked her.
The door went open revealing Aurelio's parents and his grandpa.
" Heyyo house!!“ His grandpa exclaimed happily stepping further.
Erica chuckled at him and gestured them all to the dining.
“What's going on fam?" His dad asked as he took his seat
" Erica darling” Lola said reaching to Erica's cheek.
" Wow, too many meals" Mr Bertram smiles
" Yep, for full house” she giggled and everyone took their seats happily.
" I hope everyone has a good day” Erica started with
“Honey is there something you want to say?" Aurelio asked
“I'm really curious" he added and she laughed then reached for her purse to take out the results and passed it to Aurelio.
This time, everyone became curious.
What could be in that letter?
“You should check it out there honey" she replied.
Aurelio looked at her and back at the envelope, slowly he took out the paper and his eyes went wide at what he saw first.
“Yes baby!!" She said happily
“What's that son?" Mr Bertram asked with curiosity.
" You are carrying twins???“ He screamed out
" A boy and a girl!!!!" He added screaming at the top of his.
"Aurelio Bertram's kids” she replied
