The Kidnapping

Joe Carter chose to sit in the corner of the room, in a dimly lit booth. In here he could avoid the curious glances of club-goers who happened to pass in front of him. Tonight he wanted to be alone. He didn't want to be bothered by anyone else.

Joe waved his hand. The smell of alcohol mixed with sweat pierced his nose. Cigarette smoke that came from nowhere drifted into his room. The rest was nothing that bothered him too much.

"You should be able to serve him well. Don't try to make him angry."

Joe heard a woman's voice not far away. It was very low, but it was picked up by his ears. He shifted his body, getting closer to the source of the voice. He doesn't know what was on his mind tonight, he suddenly felt very curious about other people's business. It was unusual for her to overhear a stranger's conversation like this.

"I will do as you say," the other woman replied.

Joe estimated that the last woman was younger than the first woman.

"I've been trying so hard to get you to meet him. You know, I had a hard time making this meeting happen. So, don't waste the opportunity she has given you. Remember my words!"

The first woman spoke again. She slightly suppressed her voice, giving off a subtle threat. "Yes, madam. I will not disappoint you."

One minute later. There was silence. Joe heard them walking away. Joe accidentally locked eyes with the younger woman as she passed in front of him. She looked back at him, then looked away again and walked hurriedly after her friend. It was only a glimpse, but it made a deep impression on Joe's mind.

The woman was like most seductive women. Her long straight hair was put in a very high ponytail, exposing her long neck. The dress she wore was very tight, wrapping her seductively curvy body. Her makeup was quite thick with fiery red lipstick. One interesting thing about her. The bluish-green color of her eyes had hypnotized Joe for a few seconds.

"Good evening, sir. I see you are alone. Perhaps you could use a drinking buddy," she whispered, then plopped down next to Joe.

Joe shifted his body, uncomfortable with the surprise he never expected. He was deeply disturbed. She should have realized herself that Joe didn't want her in this room.

"I don't need anyone here. So, you better get out of here," Joe said harshly.

The woman's face turned stiff. She looked at Joe sharply. It seemed like she felt hurt by what Joe said to her. Unfortunately Joe didn't care.

Then, there was a sudden ringing sound from Joe's cell phone. He hurriedly took his cell phone from his coat pocket. A call from one of his men.

Joe groaned loudly as he was annoyed by the call. Couldn't his men let him rest for a moment. His whole body felt very tired and achy.

"Yes .... What's wrong?" asked Joe with a growl.

"Mr. Richard was killed. You should come here immediately," replied the man in the distance.

Joe immediately turned off his phone. He immediately ran while clenching his fists. His mind was racing. Who dared to kill his father? He had to find the murderer immediately.

"Dad...," Joe called out and approached his father's body lying stiffly on the floor.

Joe looked back. His eyes met with two of his men who lowered their heads. They didn't seem to dare to look at Joe.

"Who has dared to kill my father?"

"We don't know her identity for sure. It was a girl who came into this room a few hours ago to serve Mr. Richard."

Joe hit the wall. He guessed that the girl must be an accomplice of his father's enemies. Undeniably, his father had many enemies. Maybe one of them told the girl to kill her father.

Joe decides to go to the control room. There must be officers on guard watching the CCTV cameras in every room of the club. He will ask the officer to show the results of the CCTV camera recordings a few moments ago.

"Can you show me the surveillance camera footage in this room?" Joe asked one of them.

The big man approached Joe with sweat soaking through his shirt. "You can see this," said the man and handed him a computer that was showing a video.

"This is ...." Joe pointed at the tablet as he recognized his father's killer. It was the girl from earlier who accidentally locked eyes with him.

"Do you know her?" the other man asked.

"I saw her briefly," Joe replied. "You'd better hurry up. We need to catch that girl. I want her to take responsibility for her actions."

"I'll ask the others to accompany you to take care of Mr. Richard's body," said the fat man. "Let us search for her."

The two men quickly left the room where they found Mr. Richard's body lying breathless. They immediately got into the car that was waiting in front of the club. They didn't have much time because they didn't want to lose the girl.

Not long after, the car came to an abrupt stop. The two men got out and grabbed the girl they were looking for. They struggled to drag her into the car.

"Let me go ...." the girl screamed.

"Shut up!"

The fat man immediately silenced the girl's mouth with a handkerchief. The man then tied her hands tightly together. He didn't want to lose the culprit who killed their master.

Briana cried out in pain as the two men who kidnapped her threw her body mercilessly into a large, windowless room. Then they locked the door, leaving Briana alone. She struggled to untie the knots in her hands, but she was having difficulty.

Eventually she gave up in defeat. It looked like her life wouldn't last much longer. Even so she felt grateful that her revenge had been realized. The murderer of her entire family had died by her hand. Then Briana felt her eyes turn heavy. She couldn't help but feel sleepy, and fell asleep a few minutes later.

Byurr.

Briana gasped, having difficulty breathing as she was doused with a bucket of water. He glanced angrily at the man who had watered him. This boy looked completely different from the previous fat man.

"What the hell !" Briana shouted angrily. She couldn't accept how this man treated her. Her eyes stared intently at his opponent.

"That's nothing compared to what you did last night," said the man. He threw the bucket at Briana and almost hit her on the head. "You have killed my father."

"Richard Carter deserved to die by my hands," Briana said fiercely. There was absolutely no regret on her face.

The man approached Briana. His hand grabbed Briana's chin roughly. The look in his eyes was like that of an eagle that was starving and eyeing its prey.

"Who ordered you to kill my father?"

Briana shook her head so she could release her chin from the boy's hold. "I don't need orders to kill that damn man," Briana said fiercely. In her heart he thought. Don't expect the man to get what he wants.

Plaque.

The man slapped her cheek hard. Even though Briana was in pain, she didn't want to make the boy satisfied because he had managed to hurt her. Won't. This slap was nothing compared to losing the entire family simultaneously. She could endure this pain.

"It seems you did choose to die because you didn't want to reveal the identity of your boss."

"It's up to you. Just do what you want," Briana challenged, smiling sarcastically.

The man ground his teeth. He clenched his fists tightly. It looks like this attempt failed. He then stood up, and walked away from Briana. He paused in front of the door when he heard Briana speak.

"I hope Richard Carter is currently burning in hell along with his sins over the years."

The man opened the door and walked out of the room. He closed the door behind him. He pretended not to notice Briana's words.

"I will take care of my father's funeral procession," said Joe to his men. "Currently Chris is on his way home. So, we will wait for my brother to arrive before the funeral process takes place."

"What about that girl? Has she admitted who's boss?"

Joe shook his head with a big smile. "She was stubborn, and chose to remain silent," said Joe. "It seems that the girl did get paid quite a lot for the murder."

"Could be like that. But she looks pretty brave for a girl. She's not the least bit scared," said the fat one.

Joe didn't argue. All the words of his men were proven true. Even though his opponent this time was a girl, he would never let his guard down or be deceived. He had to stay careful.

A few hours later. A man with a scary look walked over in a hurry. He looked around, looking for Joe. After he found Joe's figure, he rushed to Joe. Without any prior warning the man immediately threw his fist at Joe's face.

"Why did you let someone kill father?"

That man is Chris Carter. Richard Carter's first son. He didn't hesitate to hit his brother in front of many people because his emotions were now overflowing and he couldn't be stopped anymore
