Chapter 5 Back to That Night

"Go ahead!

"Only your father and I know where Nancy is. If you dare to divorce Edmund, I will find someone to kill Nancy. You won't see her again."

Victoria felt that she had fallen into an ice cave.

No matter how much Lacey bullied and abused her in the past, she never lowered her head.

Now Lacey used Nancy to threaten Victoria, and she had to compromise.

"Victoria, that project is very important to me. We have no choice," Edward said.

"After you married Edmund yesterday, he promised to give me the project. I'm afraid that you will say something to him that changes his mind."

Victoria instantly understood. Edward knew that she hated him, and he was worried that she would intentionally ruin his plan.

"Victoria don't worry. When I sign the contract with the Haines family and get the project, I will let you and Nancy reunite. Before that, I will take good care of her."

Victoria no longer trusted Edward, and she raised her eyebrows coldly.

"You swear."

"Okay!"

Edward swore without hesitation.

"I swear, everything I said to Victoria today is true. If I go back on my words, I will die badly."

Only then did Victoria feel relieved.

Since Edward dared to swear, he wouldn't go back on his words.

As Victoria swept over the faces of Xenia, Lacey, and Edward indifferently, she made up her mind in her heart.

This was the last time she would compromise with these people.

When she found her mother back, she would let them pay back what they did to her!

Now that Victoria was back, she decided to take something away by the way.

Victoria had no feelings for this home, but her diary, photos, clothes she often wore, and other items that were full of personal feelings were here...

After taking these items away, she would never be involved with this cold home again!

This three-story villa had fifteen bedrooms, but Victoria was arranged by Lacey in the attic. There was no air-conditioning inside, so it was cold in winter and hot in summer.

When Victoria went upstairs, Xenia stared at her viciously behind her.

Seven days ago, after Xenia drugged Victoria, she originally arranged for two hooligans for Victoria.

Unexpectedly, the two people called Xenia in the early morning and said that they had gone to another hotel by mistake.

Xenia hurriedly took the two hooligans to find Victoria, but Victoria had disappeared. Xenia found a ring on the messy bed. She checked it online and found the price of the ring was extremely high.

Xenia took this ring to a jewelry store and sold it at dawn.

However, on the way, a woman in a luxury car stopped Xenia and asked her, "Did you save Mr. Haines last night?"

Xenia instantly understood that Victoria was not violated by those two hooligans last night. Instead, Victoria saved another man, the owner of this ring.

Xenia knew that the person with this ring must be rich, so she pretended to be Victoria and admitted it.

The woman took the ring away, saying that Mr. Haines would repay Xenia.

However, before Xenia was rewarded, the Haines family came to Beachside Villa to propose marriage, asking her to marry the cripple of the Haines family. Xenia could only force Victoria to substitute her.

The day before yesterday, the owner of that ring personally came to Xenia and said that he would repay her. If Victoria knew that she had been impersonated by Xenia, Xenia would be finished.

Xenia didn't care how much benefit Victoria could bring to this family. She had prepared a lot, and she wanted to completely destroy Victoria before Victoria found out the truth.

Victoria was packing things in the attic when the door was kicked open suddenly.

"Miss Collins, are you packing your things?"

An ugly middle-age man walked in and looked at Victoria up and down with malicious intent.

Victoria knew this was the housekeeper's son. He was addicted to gambling and often said dirty words to Victoria.

Victoria used a trick to get him kicked out from the family for stealing.

Victoria didn't expect him to appear here again.

It must be Xenia who let the man in!

"I heard that the person you married is a cripple. You weren't satisfied last night, right? Let me help you..."

With an evil smile, he came to hug Victoria.

Victoria had studied medicine, and she knew where the most vulnerable part was for men, She mustered all her strength and kicked between the man's legs.

"Ah!"

The man screamed and fell to the ground. His hands tightly covered his vitals that Victoria had kicked, and his face turned pale.

However, the man did not come alone.

Three more men rushed in and surrounded Victoria.

Victoria felt a chill rising from her feet to her head.

She resisted desperately but was quickly pushed face up on the ground.

After all, she was a weak woman. Held tightly by two strong and powerful men, she couldn't move at all. She could only watch helplessly as the man's hands stretched closer and closer to her.

Victoria seemed to have returned to that night again.

She was brutally tortured by that ferocious man in the dark, but she had no chance to resist.

Tears rolled down Victoria's pretty face. She made up her mind that she would kill herself before being violated by these disgusting men.

At this time, a pair of hands grabbed her blouse and was about to tear it apart roughly.

As Victoria took a deep breath, she exhausted all her strength and bit her tongue.

"Stop!"

This sudden voice was not loud, but it seemed to have a strong aura, which made the four vicious men dare not move anymore as if they were frozen.

Victoria looked over.

Sitting in a wheelchair, Edmund was pushed into the room by a middle-aged man. Seeing him, Victoria felt moved in her heart, but for some reason, more tears flowed out of control.
