Chapter 6 Edmund Helped Victoria

The middle-aged man pushed Edmund’s wheelchair as they came closer.

The four men peeped at Edmund in horror.

Although Edmund was ugly and disabled, he had a powerful aura like a king. As he came closer and closer, it seemed that an iceberg was pressing down on them, making them feel suffocated, tremble, and frightened...

Edmund's sharp eyes swept across the faces of the four men.

"Kneel."

He ordered them lightly, but the order couldn't be violated.

Even though they didn't know who Edmund was, the four usually vicious and cruel ruffians knelt on the ground at the same time and bowed their heads, not daring to look at Edmund.

The atmosphere was too cold and solemn. Even though Victoria had already got up, she stood firmly by the side, not daring to make a sound.

Edmund's eyes flicked across Victoria's face without a trace.

His peerless face under the mask was expressionless.

"Jack Vargas, first chop off their hands and feet and cut off their male organs. Then, send them to prison."

Only then did Victoria realize that those rumors about Edmund's ruthlessness were not groundless.

But she didn't think that Edmund was scary. Instead, Edmund stood tall in her heart.

Fourteen years passed!

She had encountered too much injustice, abuse, and humiliation in the Collins family. Although she had never yielded, she had always fought alone and been covered in bruises. This was the first time someone had supported her.

Victoria didn't expect that the person who supported her for the first time would be Edmund, who was aloof and cranky!

"Boss, what can a disabled person do to us? Killing him and going away is better than being at his disposal!"

"Yes, kill him."

A tacit understanding was reached in an instant, and the four men pulled out their daggers and rushed towards Edmund together.

No expression was on Edmund's indifferent face. Only a trace of disdain flashed in his deep eyes.

Seeing the deadly blade getting closer and closer to him, Victoria felt that her heart seemed to be grabbed by an invisible hand. She couldn't help but shout.

"Look out!"

Before she finished her words, screams were heard again and again, and the four ruffians fell onto the ground at the same time in a coma.

The excessive shock made Victoria's mouth wide open. She was unable to close it for a long time.

She was sure that it was Edmund who brought down the four men by himself.

But his strikes were as fast as lightning. Victoria only saw him raising his arms and punching, but she didn't see the specific movements.

Last night, when Victoria was pressed onto the bed by Edmund, she realized that Edmund was not as weak as the outside world said...

She didn't expect that Edmund could easily beat up four sturdy dagger-wielding ruffians in a flash while sitting in a wheelchair.

So, how powerful had Edmund been before he was terminally ill?

"Have you watched enough?"

His voice, as cold as wind and snow but as pleasant as musical notes, sounded.

Victoria glanced at Edmund again. Seeing that he was looking at her, she was sure that he was talking to her.

She hurriedly closed her mouth and lowered her eyelashes at a loss.

Edmund said, "If you've finished watching it, come over and push me away."

Victoria twitched her mouth.

"Okay."

For the sake of him saving her life just now, Victoria ignored his overbearing and unreasonable manner...

The person who pushed Edmund’s wheelchair before was a kind and reliable middle-aged man.

He handed the wheelchair to Victoria and bowed.

"Mrs. Haines, thank you for doing it."

Victoria took the wheelchair. Looking at Edmund's cold and straight figure and then at the four men lying on the ground like dead bodies, she didn't know what to do for a moment.

"Next, Jack will cut off the hands of these four men and their male organs. Do you want to see it?"

Edmund's cold voice sounded.

Victoria shrank her neck in fright.

"No, I don't..."

Edmund glanced back at her.

"Then, why are you standing still?"

Meeting his gaze, Victoria shuddered deeply and pushed him out of the attic.

Victoria was very puzzled. She didn't know why Edmund, who said that he wouldn't come to the Beachside Villa with her, showed up suddenly.

But Edmund warned Victoria not to ask questions...

After seeing the scene just now, Victoria felt that Edmund was powerful and terrifying, so she didn't say anything.

Edward was very good at being a social climber, and Lacey could be all things to all man, so they were doing well these years. Although this villa had only three floors, there was a luxurious elevator.

The elevator reached the first floor.

As soon as the elevator door opened, Lacey ran over with a worried face and hugged Victoria's arm.

"Victoria, I just heard about what happened to you in the attic. I am so worried about you. Did you get hurt or scared?"

Victoria shrugged off Lacey, feeling disgusted with her.

"Those men failed to hurt me. If you continue to make me sick, I will spit out all my internal organs and die without a whole body."

"Hehe, Victoria, you're saying these words again..."

Lacey bent her knees and looked at Edmund.

"Edmund, no hard feelings. This is Victoria. Alas, it's all my fault!

"Victoria's biological mother was admitted to a mental hospital when Victoria was six years old. Victoria has had to live with us. I pity her and always spoil her blindly. Even if she makes a mistake, I never have the heart to blame her. So she has been indulged in being a person who has unorthodox behavior. Edmund, please bear with her."

"Oh? Really?"

Victoria ruthlessly tore off Lacey's disguise.

"The food, clothing, and housing I have can't compare with those of your pet dog. If I make a mistake, I will be punished and not allowed to eat for three days. Since when have you ever indulged me? How can I not recall that you have done such a thing once?"

As expected of a super actress, Lacey didn't change her face.

"Edmund, all our relatives and friends know that I am nice to Victoria and that Victoria likes to frame me very much. You must have heard of it, so you will not believe Victoria's words, right?"

Victoria couldn't help but look down at Edmund.

It was ridiculous. Even though Lacey was extremely mean to Victoria, she liked to bend the truth, brazenly telling their relatives and friends how nice she was to Victoria.

Victoria often nailed Lacey's lie in front of others as she did now. However, they were all partial to Lacey, and none of them believed her.

After experiencing repeated failures, Victoria no longer expected anyone to see the truth.

Edmund must be like those people!

"You should have entered the entertainment industry with such a talent." Edmund's voice faintly sounded.

Victoria was dumbfounded.

Lacey was also dumbfounded.

"Edmund..."

"Shut up!"

Edmund's voice was even colder.

"You think I'm as blind as your relatives and friends?"

Lacey couldn't say anything more.

Edmund had an ugly face, but his eyes were clear and cold, shining brightly. His aura was so strong that it was suffocating. He only glanced at her indifferently, and she seemed to be strangled by the neck...

Victoria was moved in her heart.

"Edmund, I just heard from the servant that you're here. Welcome!" Accompanied by this joyful voice, Edward trotted from the yard into the living room.

Getting closer to Edmund, he suddenly felt cold and couldn't help but slow down.

"Edmund, Lacey, Victoria, what..."

"You came just in time."

Edmund interrupted Edward indifferently.

"Some people tried to violate my wife in the attic a few minutes ago. You knew that?"
