Curse of death

"Prince Yifang, I am ready."

Yifang turned his head to find the princess wearing a simple yet elegant dress that reached to her knees giving her a unique look.

He was confused for a bit on why she was showing herself to him.

"Princess Saya, you look very pretty. Are you going somewhere?"

Kyle asked her who smiled brightly.

Females in lycans were extremely rare and most of the women were either werewolves or humans. So, he always felt a fatherly feeling towards her.

"We are going out."

"No, we are not." Yifang quickly cut her who blinked.

"But you promised you will take me out of I let you but me and you did that two times and..." Before she could reveal the place which still had a little bruise Yifang was fast enough to cover her mouth with his hand while Kyle coughed as he looked away.

"I remembered.."

Yifang dragged her away who was being pulled like a doll.

"Are you fu*king stupid? Do you have any idea what you have done? What will Uncle think I was doing with you? You..."

He scolded her who did not know why she was being scolded like this.

"Don't talk about this to anyone."

Yifang warned her.

"Why?"

"Because ... because.

Don't you want to go out? You better not tell this to anyone or I am going to throw you out."

He warned her who nodded quickly. She smiled and walked with him as they came out of the door of the palace.

Saya never went out of palace. First time she left palace was when she got married and this was her second time.

"Prince Yifang..."

"Stop calling me Prince."

"But what should I call you?"

"By my name."

"But....it will be awkward."

"Then, don't call me at all." He was still cold.

"Why are you always so angry? You look good when you smile."

She told him who paused and glanced at her.

"I will smile once I got rid of you."

He cruelly informed Saya who pressed her lips together.

"But why do you want to get rid of me? Because of Ursala."

"Because of your tongue. You should speak less."

Saya became quite as he followed him but she could not hide her smile. She was sad that he will mention Ursala again but Yifang was never interested in her.

"Prince Yifang, can I hold your arm. The road is very rocky." She made an excuse as she hugged his arm while Yifang did not say anything. They walked towards the market and on their way Saya saw few women who were also wearing the collar just like her.

She was curious about it but did not want to ask more from Yifang. He only would end up telling her the bad things.

Saya did not want the day to end. She felt freed for the first time in her life and Yifang did not stop her doing anything.

As they were in a shop eating dessert, Yifang realized Saya loved sweets. She ate a little bit of came and then put it aside.

"Are not you going to finish it?"

"Can I?" She was confused.

"Of course."

"But it will make me fat."

Yifang rolled his eyes. As a woman, Saya lived a very strange life. She had to take care of looks and now she had a man she liked, she wanted to be perfect.

"I don't like skinny women."

Yifang told her who blinked and then pulled the cake towards her. She started eating it and it made her happy.

Yifang shook his head and moved his plate towards her. He did not like sweets that much.

On their way back, Saya was collecting flowers from the sides of the rocky road while Yifang followed her silently.

"Prince Yifang, thank you for taking me on a date."

"Date? It was not a date."

He scoffed while Saya bit her lower lip not to smile.

"But you took me out, we had fun. It was a date."

Yifang knitted his brows looking at her who was trying not to smile. He could see through her that she was teasing him and in a split second he grabbed her by her shoulders startling her.

"Then should not we share a kiss. After all it was a date."

He tightened his grip on her arms whose cheeks turned bright red.

Yifang leaned making Saya close her eyes in fear.

"Did you think I was going to kiss you?"

He chuckled as he made fun of her who quickly opened her eyes and felt embarrassed. She was very ready to share her first kiss.

"So desperate." Yifang clicked his tongue as he freed her arms while Saya turned her face away. She was so embarrassed that she wanted to just hide somewhere.

No matter what but she was a human and Yifang hated humans. They were weak not only physically but also emotionally.

"Prince Yifang, do you believe on fate?"

Saya questioned him.

"No."

"Why not?"

"What's there to believe? I have seen many people unlucky in love. I have seen many people living a good life even after snatching happiness from others.

I believe, power is everything.

If you have power, you can make your own fate."

His voice was scold and cruel.

"Do you hate humans?"

She questioned him againa and this time Yifang could not say anything. He knew the answer but his answer was going to hurt Saya anyway.

Saya smiled and nodded.

She got her answer.

Yifang saw her tugging her hair nervously behind her ear and knitted his brows.

"What is this?"

He raised his hand and rubbed his thumb on the area that was covered by collar while Saya hissed in pain.

Feeling alert, he quickly removed the collar and there was a big ugly black bruise on her neck. It did not look good and it was not normal.

The blackness was spreading and Yifang knew his curse caused this.
