CHAPTER SIX
Susanne's POV.
I walked down the halls of the house, still reminiscing over the event of the night, "Not even one picked me." I muttered to myself, beautiful beings they were, I had said at the party, getting one of them was a jackpot, ", especially Daemon." I said dreamily, it would be a jackpot if I could even get the both of them, I smiled at the thought
I sighed just as I let my legs direct me, Dad had said they would surely pick me, said I was very beautiful and smart, I smiled at the remembrance, it was just wishful thinking, none of the twins had found a mate at the party, "Maybe there was still a chance." I stopped abruptly just as my mind came to that conclusion when I heard moanings.
"Who would be fucking themselves in the house at this kind of time?" I asked myself as I tiptoed in the direction of the moans, feeling like a spy in one of the action movies I do watch, I smiled, the aspect thrilling as I anticipated what I would see as I got closer to the location of the moans.
Using the shadows, I could see two people making out, no, three, I stared deeply into the darkness, my eyes opening in shock, "It's the Luna!" I could hear my mouth speak of its own accord, my heart beating so loudly I could have sworn they would have heard me from the noise they generated from themselves.
"This is a taboo," I whispered as I noticed the people involved, The Luna, Daemon, and Damian, her stepsons, my anticipation and fear, slowly turned into anger as I saw them get intimate, the moon mirroring my state of mind, as it shone red through the window as they got naked.
I stood watching for a while, when I saw the Luna stop, putting her clothes on her body haphazardly as she took off in the opposite direction, the twin naked and standing still, the erection still holding off.
"We scared her off," Daemon said, turning to face Damian.
"Don't do that!" Damian said, raising a warning finger at Daemon.
"Don't do what?" He asked, still facing Damian.
"Put on some clothes man," Damian said, looking away from Daemon.
"But, you didn't care about my nakedness when you were kissing my woman," Daemon said with a smirk.
"She isn't your woman, she is mine." Damian said with a growl, "Don't you dare call her yours." He said, the moon reflecting off his eyes.
"She's for both of us, man." Daemon laughed, placing his hands on Damian's shoulder, "And I don't think we scared her off, maybe she isn't just ready." He continued.
Damian shoved his hands off his shoulders, "Put on your clothes." He said, almost growling.
"They should be fighting over me, not the Luna," I said to myself, still in my position as I watched them shove each other as they put on their clothes. Damian was obviously pissed by how Daemon was taking what had happened.
"We should go check on her, you know, with all that just happened," Daemon suggested as they were done dressing.
"I should go," Damian said, moving off in the direction she had taken.
"You don't have to do this." Daemon said, following in the heels of his brother, I followed just within hearing distance, my heart a furnace of fury as I listened to each brother argue on who was to get her love, "This should be me." I fumed within.
"Do what?" Damian asked, turning abruptly towards Daemon, I ducked behind a wall, grateful he had not seen me.
"I know you love her man, but I do too." Daemon spoke, taking the lead, Damian following along, I resumed my journey just behind them, "You trying to be possessive of her isn't going to do us any good." He continued, Damian stopped for a while, sighed, and then continued.
I stopped by an intersection, hiding in the shadows as they knocked on the Luna's room. She must have said something harsh as I saw Damian shrug his shoulders and move away from the door, Daemon followed.
I went after them, just for the door to open as I came across it, I gave a smile as I lied that I had come to check on her, a bad coincidence,
She shut the door as she asked me to leave, I let my smile linger for a while before I retraced my steps to follow the twins, stopping when I heard them discussing with someone.
"Where have you boys been?" The voice spoke, "You both reek of alcohol." It continued.
"Well, you know me," Daemon replied with a happy voice.
I looked over the edge to see who it was, it was the beta. My father, I relaxed a bit, even if I was caught, I could say I was looking for my father.
"I didn't expect this from you, Damian." He scolded Damian.
"No one expects anything from me." Damian coldly replied.
"I see you still have your voice." My dad said, "You both should go clean yourself off and behave like children of your father." He continued.
Damian rushed up to him, attempting to hold him by the scruff of his collar. He moved away like a slippery eel, I held my hands over my mouth, stifling any screams that could have escaped my lips.
"You don't have to admit to it, his blood runs through your veins, hating him won't solve anything." The beta said as he smoothed the wrinkles that he had appeared on his clothes.
"We would go up to clean ourselves." Daemon cheerily said, I could see him holding on to his brother as my father left.
"Let go of me!" Damian screamed at him as he shrugged his hands off him.
"Your anger doesn't seem to come in at the right moment," Daemon spoke as he opened the door to the room.
"He didn't have to remind me I am the son of that beast," Damian spoke, gritting his teeth, I could feel the temperature of the area drop.
"At least we know who our mate is," Daemon said at his opened door.
"What!?" I mutter, "Them being intimate with the Luna was already a Taboo, Imagine what it would be with them having bonds with her." The thought rolled into my mind, their conversation dragging me away from my thoughts.
Damian stood by his own door, "All's well that ends well." He spoke as he got into his room, shutting the door immediately.
Daemon smiled, then turned to face the direction I was, I froze in my tracks, pressing myself to the wall while trying to keep mute, I waited until I heard the door close shut.
I heaved a sigh of relief as I peeled myself away from the way, satisfied with the results I had received, it would be enough the blackmail the Luna, being bonded to her was enough taboo for her to let them be mine, I smiled at the thought when I bumped into someone.
"What are you doing here, Susanne?" He asked.
"Shit!" I cursed inwardly, "I came looking for you Papa." I said, placing a sly smile on my lips.
"Was I missing?" He said with a smile, as he patted my shoulders.
"Is it bad for a daughter to check on her papi?" I poked on his chest playfully. He held my hands.
"Well, Papi is alright and needs to finish his job as the senior Beta of the clan." He let go of my hands and began moving away from me, "You should go to bed now, Susanne, it's late." He continued and walked away.
"Alright, Papa," I said as I hobbled away with a smile plastered on my face.
