Chapter 32

Jungkook ..... Jungkook did you really think you could play with me? I am the true definition of a player. Who was I kidding? Anyway, he didn't fool me one bit. I knew it was you even before you told me your name. I have met you before remember...oh snap he might not remember.

Dude, I have met you like six times three years ago. It's true what they say, people remember only what they want to remember. I'm a little hurt Jungkook. It might have been three years ago but well.... what can I say. Let me not blame him. I barely remember the people I have met today.

If I was to be sincere, I can't remember what I wore on Monday, so who was I to judge. Well, I'll judge you a little. I have to give it to you though, for being smooth. You were so smooth when you asked for my number. You even refused to take no for an answer. Perhaps you're not used to people saying no to you.

You are interesting, I'll give you that. I want to know you. You have piqued my interest Mr Jeon Jungkook. Mr. international playboy. Let's see how long you can play, baby boy.

Jungkook was my agemate. Come to think of it, I was older than him. Wasn't he supposed to call me nuna. If I tell him that he'll probably refuse. Anyway, thank you Jungkook.

I was sent straight to the apartment I'll be using. The hospital got this apartment for me to use for now. I could move anytime I wanted. The apartment was a two bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows. It was really bright, a fact that I liked.

The house was already fully furnished, so all I needed to do was unpack. I dragged my bags to the bedroom. I took a long shower and stretched a bit. I changed into my pajamas hoping to fall asleep. I headed to the kitchen to see if I could get something to eat. I didn't expect them to have done grocery shopping, but my fridge was full of food.

Some foods I didn't even know their names. I could recognize kimchi but that's about it. I decided to eat some snacks instead of eating something I didn't know. I settled on the wide couch and turned on the TV. It finally hit me I was in another country when the news was on and I couldn't tell what was happening.

How was I supposed to survive here? I didn't know anyone except Jungkook and Namjoon obviously. And I couldn't text and ask them to show me around. I was utterly alone.

On the table was a written note. I picked the note and started reading. Thank God it was in English. I should thank the person who wrote this. The Wi-Fi password and someone will come around to help me register my fingerprints to be able to unlock the house.

The person was to come in twenty minutes. Shit, I can't go to sleep then. I have to wait for them. I didn't have to wait long before a bell rang in the apartment. They must be here. I opened the door, and my guest came in.

I have seen a lot of Asian people in my life, but she was unique. She looked like a doll. Not in a bad way but a pretty innocent way. She was tall and thin, I guess being thin is a thing in Asia. While in Africa being thick is the thing. If you are thin people assume you are sick.

" Hello" she said while she took me in

" Hello, how are you?"

" I'm doing well" she answered.

She could speak English fluently. I didn't know if I should jump with joy or drop to the ground and pray. I finally felt like I will be alright in this country.

" Come in please"

She changed her shoes and came in. So, the dramas were right.

" My name is Seri. I will be your personal assistant at work and out of work" she introduced herself.

" Would you like to drink something? I'm not sure what is in here" I tried standing to get her a drink.

" You don't have to" she stopped me " I did some grocery shopping, but I didn't know what you liked. So, if there's something you can't eat you can tell me, and I'll dispose of it"

" Disposing of it is a little harsh. You can take them home and eat them instead of throwing them away" I shrugged.

" Yes Miss."

Her politeness was so cute.

" You can call me Avah."

" You are older than me, so you'll be my Unni " she smiled.

We were off to a good start. She helped me register my fingerprints and got me some take out. She also prepared a line for me to use in the country. Finally, I can call people. Who would I call here though? I saved her number as she already saved mine.

She told me to rest early as tomorrow we would have a very busy day. I don't know if it was due to the jetlag, but I slept for ten hours straight which was a miracle. Sleep has never been my friend. Insomnia is always knocking on my door, so I wondered what changed. I must have been really tired.

I had thirty minutes to get ready before Seri gets here. I took a quick shower and applied a little foundation on my face. I rarely applied makeup because of time but today, my skin felt really weird.

Seri and the driver from yesterday picked me up. We went to the bank to open an account. She took me to some of the hotels around my neighborhood that she thought I could eat at. We went shopping for some jewelry that I will never wear. We basically walked around all day. Once evening came, I was so tired that I dropped on the bed and slept immediately.
