Her killer is... (Part4)

I forcedly shut my eyes and convince myself that I'm just tired and I need some rest. I repeat it myself twice. But I felt the cold breeze of air in my left ear. She's saying something. I listen to it. I listen carefully. Her words began to be clear. "Be careful, don't leave my son alone. Beware of her." she said.

Then I open my eyes and bravely face her but she disappeared already. "What does she mean? Who's her?" I asked myself.

I saw someone turn the lights on at the living room. My mom rushed in to the kitchen. She saw the glass on the floor broken into tiny pieces. "What happened?" my mom asked.

"I broke it, sorry..." that was all the words that popped out on my mouth.

She immediately get the broom and clean it. I saw dad carrying my nephew in his arms. I get him in his arms and carry him. "I'm sorry, mom, dad. I have to rest now. I'm sleeping with this little boy." I said then locked myself in my room. I know tomorrow they will ask me what happened why I broke the glass while I'm standing beside the refrigerator.

I can't sleep, its already three in the morning, so I decided to call my boss that I'm not feeling well. He said it’s okay, I thanked him. He ended up the call.

I didn't sleep, I just stare at my nephew sleeping. I looked at the wall clock inside my room. It’s already six in the morning, I heard some knock on my door. My mom says she'll go on the pharmacy then after a minute, dad knock on my door and said he'll be going to the hospital. That's all and then I heard the engines of their car and the gate closed.

Seven in the morning, I cooked our breakfast. I baked some cookies and made my special beverage for my nephew who really loved it. Eight in the morning, I woke my nephew up because it’s about time for him to take a bath and eat. Thirty minutes after, I sent him at his psychologists and waited him. Nine forty-five in the morning, his psychologists talk to me and said someone tried to pick him up. I asked what's the name of the person, but she says when she didn't succeed picking up my nephew she left.

When I'm about to start the engine of my car, my police friend called me that his going to say something important, so I send my nephew to where my dad is. My police friend says that we'll meet at the bookstore of a mall. While I'm driving, I notice someone is following me. Finally, I reach the mall and go the bookstore. He gave me a children's book. "Don't open it in public." he whispered. Then we separated.

I saw a note in the book. "Drive straight ahead while reading this book." I drive and my police friend called me. "Open the book. Is it familiar?" he asked.

"No, but the color of the car is same as the one who hit my nephew's mother."

"Turn it to the next page."

I turn it. "It’s the plate number who hit her!"

"Yes, turn the page to the 2nd to the last page."

"It’s a girl. Don't tell me, you're stalking this girl?" I asked.

He laughed. "No, she's the one who tried to pick up your nephew on the permission of his psychologists."

"What? How did you know that?"

"Man, I'm a police, remember? Well... She's the owner of the gray car who hit the mother of you nephew."

I sigh. "You’re taking a photo of the suspect's back? How will I know her face?"

He laughed. "Don't stop driving but go back where you left your nephew. You just have half an hour."

"You're kidding me! You made me drive this far then you're telling me I just have thirty minutes?" I ask and turn my car way back to the hospital. I noticed that the car follows me disappeared so I drove fast.

I reached the room of my dad. I saw my nephew playing. I sat down beside him.

"Man, are you still there?" my police friend asked.

"Yeah, now what?" I sarcastically asked.

He chuckled. "Turn it to the last page."

I was shock. "Are you sure, she was the one who hit her?"

"Yes, very sure!"

"But..."

"Man that was part of my job."

"I can't believe this... She's the... Are you really sure she was the..."

"Yes, hundred percent sure." he said.

She was the one who try to pick up my nephew on his psychologists and the one that my twin brother's girlfriend talking about 'her' to be careful with.

I saw my police friend entered the room of my father and sat beside my nephew. "Her killer is..." I saw him nod.
