Looks can be deceiving!

Cedric walks through the castle garden, his thoughts focused on Eveline. He can't deny her beauty, which completely enchanted him. Cedric closes his eyes for a moment, imagining her red hair falling in layers over her shoulders, reaching to the middle of her back. He loves the way her curves are accentuated and how her angelic face is adorned with fine and delicate features. Her deep and penetrating blue eyes look like rare shining jewels, and Cedric can't resist them.

He remembers when he saw her for the first time at the presentation party in the castle. Eveline was dressed in a dress of a light, almost white shade, adorned with gold embroidery and pearls, dazzling, which highlighted her beauty even more. Cedric almost couldn't follow through with his plan to reject her as his bride, he couldn't stop thinking about her. Everyone thought he couldn't see Eveline's beauty, but they were wrong. Cedric could see every detail and every gesture she made.

Cedric opens his eyes and looks around the garden, feeling a wave of nostalgia invade his heart. That was his mother's favorite place, where they used to spend hours talking and admiring the beauty of the flowers. However, Cedric knows he can't afford to be distracted by these memories now. He has responsibilities as the heir to the throne, and he needs to stay focused on his purposes.

While he was immersed in his thoughts, Cedric hears a commanding voice behind him, making his wolf inside growl fiercely. Cedric knows he can't show his emotions to anyone, so he remains paralyzed, waiting for more words.

"What does a blind man do in such a beautiful garden if he can't see?" the ironic voice echoes through the air, making Cedric shiver.

Cedric's claws emerge, but he quickly hides them, clenching his fists to avoid the claws cutting his own skin. "I may be blind, but I can smell and my skin needs sun," he says rudely, trying to hide the anger he feels. Cedric knows he can't afford to lose control, especially now that he's getting closer and closer to getting what he wants.

Cedric's uncle stands in front of him, carefully observing any reaction from his nephew. "One thing is intriguing me," Roderick clears his throat. "You said you had chosen another bride, but how did you do that if you can't see and hardly leave the castle?"

A line forms on Cedric's lips, who sighs tiredly. "I've already told you that I have no interest in getting married. How about leaving me alone?"

Roderick laughs sarcastically, approaching Cedric and looking right into his expressionless eyes. "I am your king! How dare you defy me?" He growls furiously, his fangs showing.

Cedric remains calm, although he wants to fight back. A cynical smile plays on his lips. "You're a fake. I'm the true heir here, and you know that."

Roderick begins to transform, reaching a half transformation. In his beast form, he becomes even larger and more intimidating, his fists clenched and breathing heavy as he faces Cedric. The nephew remains calm, although his wolf inside is wanting to come out and fight. Cedric knows he can't transform in public, especially now that the castle's security is at risk. The last time he transformed into a werewolf in public was on the day of his father's death, and now he can't afford to show his true form.

To everyone in the castle, Cedric is just a blind young man who fights to protect the kingdom. But for the rebels, he is an important and fearsome ally, always appearing in his wolf form so that no one can associate him with his human form. Cedric knows he needs to keep up the charade, even when his wolf inside is clamoring for freedom. He takes a deep breath and faces his uncle with determination, knowing that the battle is far from over.

"You're only alive because I allow it," Roderick bellows, his loud and threatening voice echoing through the garden.

Cedric smiles, raising one eyebrow in challenge. He knows he's playing with fire by provoking his uncle, but he can't resist. "I'm alive because killing me in public would be treason, and you don't want to stain your already rotten reputation."

Roderick's claws dangerously approach Cedric's face, but the young man doesn't back down. "I'm not afraid of you, uncle. You're just a bastard son of one of my grandfather's mistresses."

Roderick's fury only grows with each insolent word from Cedric. He thinks of him as a blind and crippled werewolf, unable to see the magnitude of his own strength. But Cedric doesn't care. He knows he's taking a big risk, but it's a risk worth taking.

As Roderick prepares to attack, Gideon appears in the garden. "My lord was looking for you," he says, staring disapprovingly at Cedric.

Cedric steps away from his uncle with a provocative smile still on his face. He knows he's pushing the limit, but he can't resist provoking Roderick whenever he can. Maybe it's a way for him to feel alive, to feel in control of his own life.

As he follows Gideon towards the castle, Cedric feels a mix of emotions. Anger, fear, but also a strange sense of freedom. He knows his uncle wanted to kill him there, but he can't do much since his life is controlled by the rules of the pack. But at least for a moment, he managed to defy his uncle and show that he's not afraid of him.

Cedric eagerly awaits the day when he'll be able to win and become the alpha of the Morsovia pack, following the natural order of things. He knows this is a difficult task that requires courage and skill, but he's determined to achieve his goal.

In the meantime, Cedric continues to provoke Roderick whenever he can, fighting for his own freedom and autonomy, even if it means taking dangerous risks. He knows he's challenging his uncle's authority and risking his own life, but he can't help himself. The feeling of being in control of his own life is intoxicating, and Cedric isn't willing to give it up easily.

But this fight is not just for power and freedom. Cedric is also fighting for his own identity. He knows he's not like the other wolves in the pack, that he doesn't fit into the strict and traditional norms that govern life in Morsovia. But he refuses to conform, to become just another obedient and submissive wolf.

Cedric knows his rebellion can come at a high price. He may be severely punished if caught defying his uncle's authority. But he's willing to take that risk because he knows he can't live a life where he has no control over his own destiny.

As he waits for the day when he can become the alpha of the pack, Cedric continues to provoke Roderick and fight for his own freedom, knowing that the road ahead is dangerous and uncertain, but also full of possibilities and opportunities for change.
