CHAPTER ONE

PUT HER IN THE DUNGEON!!

Odette Orson's point of view

I crouched down on the cold cemented floor of the dungeon, as I grabbed my legs tightly, burying my head in between my laps, shaking vigorously from the impact of the serious cold in the dungeon.

I was locked up in the dungeon for four days with no food or water to keep me going but only the company of mices and cockroaches.

Suddenly, the wooden bars of the dungeon creaked open. " stand up now!" One of the pack's guards spat as he dragged me up, " the Alpha has requested for you"

The Alpha? Oh my God!!..

The Alpha was actually the person that locked me in the dungeon all because I was accused of stealing the pack's official seal.

I was dragged on my arm like a hard core criminal by the pack's guards to the Alpha's throne room.

When we arrived, we found the Alpha there.

" Alpha Henley, we have brought the girl" the pack warrior announced, making the Alpha aware of our presence.

He turned, facing us as he took slow strides towards us.

" Are you ready to speak up?" He questioned me in his cold intimidating voice.

My shaken legs could no longer withstand the tension charged in the room. Everything changed in just a split of second. A moment ago, I was cleaning the stable and the pack house, this moment, I am facing prosecution in front of the Alpha, Alpha Henley Osvaldo, and some high ranking officials.

"So what are we going to do with her?" The Alpha's son, Thiago Osvaldo asked.

"We can kill her, banish her, or put her in the dungeon" Alpha Henley Osvaldo answered.

" Please banish me, please banish me" I prayed silently in my heart. One would say it was foolish of me to pray for banishment, but it was truly my heart's desire.

There was no use staying in a pack where I was hated, and also, the dungeon is a very horrible place to be sent to. In the dungeon, the soldiers in charge of the prisoners abuses, rapes and assaults girls. I was lucky enough to not be noticed by the Pack's guards in my four days of staying in the dungeon, but if I stay longer than four days or a week, then…

"Let's put her in the dungeon" Thiago said as my eyes widened in horror.

"No please" I cried out silently.

I wanted to speak up and plead for my innocence, but I was scared because I am despised and my opinions and thoughts doesn't matter. The crazy part of the whole thing is that I am not even guilty of the offence that I was charged of.

The Alpha of my pack had never noticed me before but now I was being noticed by him, but not in a good way.

Gemma was at a corner, snickering in disgust and giggling like a maniac.

"Explain what you saw, Harlow" Thiago said, referring to a bitch who I despised the most in the pack. She had always had eyes on the Alpha's son, Thiago Osvaldo, so because she saw me in his room cleaning, she thought I had something with him. So out of jealousy, she framed me for a crime I didn't commit. She was such a dummy and a bitch. Thiago was really handsome but I didn't have bother crushing on him because I know he would never notice me.

Everyone believed her and not me as always.

I was framed for stealing the pack's official seal by Harlow.

" But where is the pack's official seal?" Alpha Henley Osvaldo asked.

"You know it's important to our pack" the Alpha said.

" She stole it" Harlow butted in.

"Silence!" The Alpha thundered and she kept mute.

"Where is the pack's official seal?" The Alpha asked me.

I gulped nervously, never had the Alpha ever spoken to me.

"I..I didn't take anything, I don't even know how the seal looks like" I answered.

" I hate liars, you better say the truth" the Alpha said.

" I..I" i stuttered, " please, I didn't steal the pack's seal. I don't even know how it looks like"

I didn't even know what to say anymore.

Suddenly, someone rushed into the throne room.

" Alpha!" The person said.

" What!!" The Alpha thundered.

" The pack's seal has been found" the person said, holding a seal in his hands.

"So this runt is innocent of the charges she was accused of?" Alpha Henley asked.

" I think so" Thiago replied.

For a moment, he stared at me wierdly before averting his gaze from me.

" Runt, you are lucky today, but if I get anymore complaint about you, I wouldn't care if you are innocent of the accusations" the Alpha said as he got up to leave the throne room.

" Thank you Alpha" I said, bowing down.

Everyone now began leaving the throne room.

I rolled my eyes and as I turned to also leave, I met the intense eyes of Thiago.

"You" he said slowly.

"How is it possible that you are my mate?" He asked weirdly.

" What are you talking about?" I asked,

not being able to understand anything.

"How could the moon goddess make you runt my fucking mate!!!" He thundered, this time his eyes blazing with anger, hate and disgust.

"What?" I said, suprised.

I could now feel it too, he was my fucking mate!

Wow! So the moon goddess decided to give me a mate. I was just an ordinary Omega, destined and cursed to never have a mate.

But how possible is that? Well, it was actually pointless because he is the Alpha's son and also the next in line for the throne and I know he might not accept me. But truly, I dreaded being rejected by him.

"Fuck fuck!!" He cursed as he stormed out of the throne room, leaving me behind.

I was so lost in thoughts, I couldn't believe this, I actually have a mate!

I then quietly went out of the throne room with only one thought, what if he rejects me?
