Chapter 3

Mandy walks to the college gate with her best friend Megan. As they arrive, they're surprised by a tinted window jeep. They turn to look, a bit startled, when the window rolls down, revealing Jason. Mandy nudges Megan and whispers through her teeth:

"That's Dylan's brother I told you about, from the embarrassing incident this morning."

Her friend whispers back, visibly intrigued:

"What's he doing here?"

Jason steps out of the car and explains that Dylan had an unexpected event and asks him to pick up Mandy. He introduces himself to Megan, saying:

"Hello, I'm Jason, Mandy's brother-in-law. Dylan asked me to give her a ride."

Megan nods, still a bit surprised by the unexpected turn of events. "Ah, I see. Nice to meet you, Jason."

"Dylan didn't tell me anything," Mandy says.

"He told me at the last minute. He'll meet us at the restaurant," Jason says.

"I'll meet you there. I still need to swing by home, so you'll have some time to catch up with your brother," she says, trying to dismiss him.

"That's very kind of you," Megan says, nervously scratching her head.

"Yes, very kind," Mandy gives a fake smile.

"Then I'll wait in the car while you say goodbye to your friend. Oh, a pleasure to meet you, Megan. We should plan something sometime," he says, kissing her on the cheek.

"Yes, of course. The pleasure was mine," Megan responds, cheeks flushed with shyness.

Jason walks back to his car to wait for Mandy, while she says goodbye to Megan.

"Friend, what kind of Greek god is he? Why didn't you tell me he was hot and had this bad boy look?"

"Are you crazy? Why on earth did Dylan send him to pick me up? I'm so embarrassed, do you realize?" Mandy says.

"Friend, Dylan doesn't know anything. Relax. Do you think he would have sent him knowing you gave his brother a blowjob?" She laughs as she speaks.

"I didn't find it the least bit funny. Dylan mustn't find out. I don't want to end my relationship over a misunderstanding. It was dark, I've already told you. My life is in his hands now."

"Friend, are you seriously telling me you've never had Dylan's thing in your mouth? You can't tell the difference between your man's and someone else's? I'm sure Dylan would feel the same. Relax, if he wanted to spill, he would've done it already. Now go have your lunch, and call me later to let me know how it went."

"Oh, please, friend. Of course, I know the difference, but in the darkness, even white looks black. But forget it, I need to find out his intentions. We'll talk later. Kisses."

Mandy walks to the car, heading to the passenger side. Jason opens the door for her. Mandy closes the door and sits down. Her discomfort and embarrassment being next to Jason are evident, but she takes a deep breath and tries to stay calm.

"You don't have to be so tense, sister-in-law," he says sarcastically.

"I'm not, little brother," she retorts ironically.

"About that day, I..." he tries to explain.

"Do we have to bring up that subject? It's already too embarrassing for me," she says, feeling ashamed.

"For me too, especially because I don't like keeping things from my brother," he replies.

"You can't tell him anything, please. It'll ruin my relationship," she says, afraid.

"I understand your fear, but I know he'll understand it wasn't on purpose, just a misunderstanding," he tries to justify.

"Misunderstanding? Do you think he'll see it that way? That I... did that with his brother, thinking it was him, and even kissed you? We were about to have sex, do you realize?" She puts her hands on her head, deep in thought.

"Seeing it from that perspective, you're right. Look, I won't cause you any trouble. Please, calm down. This will be our little secret," he says with a malicious smile.

"I didn't even know you a few days ago, and now I have secrets with you. My God, what's happening?"

"It's not that serious. You're not even my type. Let's just forget this happened, although..."

"Although what?" she asks.

"A blowjob like that is hard to forget. My brother is lucky, sister-in-law, you work wonders with that mouth," he teases.

"This is not funny. I'm already quite embarrassed," she says.

"Alright, I'll stop. But it was funny. Changing the subject, what about your friend, Megan?" he asks.

"Megan, not Morgan."

"Right, here."

"What about her?" she asks.

"She's a cutie. We could plan some outings all together, it would be fun," he suggests.

"She's not into your type, so it's not going to happen."

"Let her be the judge of that. She didn't seem to dislike my type," he says.

"It's just weird, you being Dylan's brother. He's all proper and polite, and you look like a rebellious teenager."

"Are you always like this?" he asks.

"Like what?" she responds.

"Judging people without even knowing them. Look, I'm playful, I live life the way that makes me happy, and he does things his way, that's all," he feels offended.

"Look, I didn't mean to offend you. I just... never mind, I should probably just keep quiet."

"That's probably best, sister-in-law. We've arrived at your house. I'll wait here in the car."

"You'd better come in, or my mom will get mad. Come on, let's go."

Mandy arrives at her house, and she and Jason get out of the car and walk towards the main door. When they reach the door, they're surprised by Mandy's mother, who is opening the door to water the garden. She looks at them with surprise.

"Who's your friend, my daughter?" her mother asks.

"This is Jason, Mom, Dylan's brother," Mandy answers.

"Pleasure to meet you, ma'am. My brother always spoke highly of you," Jason says, extending his hand to greet her.

"Dylan is indeed a sweetheart. It's a pleasure to meet you too. And where's Dylan?" she asks, suspicious.

"He's tied up at work, Mom, and since we were all going to have lunch together, he asked Jason to pick me up, and we'll meet him. I just came to take a quick shower and change clothes," she says.

"I see. Well, come in. Go take your shower. I'll keep Jason company," her mother says.

"Alright, I'll be back, Jason."

"Take all the time you need," he replies.

Mandy heads up the stairs, and Jason watches her. Mandy's mother senses that something happened between them and starts asking Jason numerous questions while Mandy hasn't returned yet.
