Chapter 4
"Mandy glides through the room, radiant in her pink dress, a subtly provocative neckline enhancing her beauty. Her blonde hair cascades down, capturing the light and reflecting an almost magical glow. The makeup, Parisian in style, accentuates her natural elegance. As she descends the stairs, a silence laden with admiration hangs in the air. Even Jason, immersed in a state of shock, finds himself unable to respond to Mandy's mother's question, his eyes fixed on her as if ensnared in a spell.
The atmosphere seems to freeze, as if time had decided to pause to appreciate Mandy's stunning presence. Each step of hers is a gentle and captivating dance, and the delicate perfume that accompanies her envelops everyone present in an aura of enchantment.
Their eyes are fixed on her, and it's impossible not to get lost in her magnetic aura. Even the sunbeams streaming through the window seem to pause to caress her skin, further highlighting her beauty.
Jason, though surprised, finally regains some of his composure and tries, with some effort, to respond to Mandy's mother. His voice still slightly trembling, he tries to find the right words, while his eyes can't seem to stray from Mandy, as if she were the center of the universe in that moment."
"Jason, still a bit dazed by Mandy's stunning presence, finally finds his voice. With a visible effort, he responds to Mandy's mother.
'Ah, yes, I was in Canada,' says Jason, with a slightly hesitant tone. 'I was on an exchange program there. Sorry if I seem a bit distracted, I'm still a bit out of sorts.'
At this moment, Mandy steps onto the last step, completing the picture of beauty and elegance she had already painted in the room. With a charming smile, she interrupts the conversation.
'I'm ready, we can go,' says Mandy, giving her mother a tender kiss.
Jason bids farewell, turning to Mrs. Judith. 'It was a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Judith. Thank you for the warm welcome.'
Mrs. Judith looks at Jason with an affectionate smile. 'The pleasure was all mine, Jason. I'm sure you and Mandy will have a great lunch together. Take care of her,' she says, with an affectionate glint in her eyes.
As Mandy and Jason make their way to the exit, Mrs. Judith watches them with a mixture of tenderness and intrigued thoughts. A small hope springs in her heart, wishing that she's not seeing things that aren't there. Before they leave, she asks Mandy to keep her phone on, wanting to make sure everything is okay.
The gentle sun shines as Mandy and Jason leave the house, the afternoon warmth adding a pleasant touch to the air. They walk together towards the car parked at the curb. Jason opens the door for Mandy, revealing a sincere smile.
'You look stunning, Mandy,' he says, admiring her. The compliment brings a slight blush to Mandy's cheeks, a shy smile playing on her lips. She thanked him, visibly embarrassed.
The interior of the car is a smooth blend of music and a subtle fragrance. As Jason takes the wheel, Mandy settles into the seat beside him, her eyes shining with happiness. Together, they head to the restaurant to meet Dylan.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, Mandy and Jason are warmly greeted by Dylan, who is already waiting for them at the table. He stands up with a welcoming smile and gives Mandy a loving kiss.
'You look stunning, as always, my love,' Dylan compliments, making Mandy smile with gratitude.
Dylan, with a friendly smile, thanks Jason for picking them up. 'The pleasure is mine, Dylan. I'm happy to help.'
Together, the three of them settle at the table, ready to enjoy a pleasant lunch.
As they enjoy their meal, Jason seizes the opportunity to share some of his goofy jokes, eliciting laughter from Mandy and Dylan. The atmosphere at the table is relaxed and cheerful, with all three enjoying each other's company.
After the final bite, they decide to wrap up the meal and prepare to head back to the apartment.
Dylan turns to Mandy with a playful smile. 'How about spending the night at our place? It would be great to have your company,' Dylan suggests, hopeful.
Mandy hesitates for a moment, considering. 'I think it's better if I sleep at home so you can have some quality time with your brother.'
Jason interrupts, showing understanding. 'Don't worry, Mandy. I was thinking of going to a club anyway. You don't need to inconvenience yourself, and Dylan and I will have plenty of time to catch up.'
Mandy looks at Jason, grateful. 'Are you sure?'
'Absolutely. I'll have some fun, and you guys enjoy your time together,' Jason asserts, reassuring her.
Satisfied with the decision, Dylan thanks them both. Together, they leave the restaurant, ready to enjoy the night on their way.
After a pleasant lunch full of laughter, they decide to conclude the meal. Jason kindly requests the bill and, after paying, they all rise from the table and head towards the restaurant's exit.
The afternoon sun still shines, painting a warm scene as Jason drives towards the apartment. Mandy, excited about the prospect of spending the night with her brother, decides to call her mother to share the plans.
She pulls out her phone and dials quickly, waiting as the phone rings on the other end. When her mother's familiar voice answers, Mandy speaks with enthusiasm, sharing the plans for the night.
'Hi, Mom! I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to spend the night with Dylan.'
Mrs. Judith responds from the other end of the line with a cheerful tone, expressing her happiness for the idea. 'Of course, dear! Have a great time with Dylan. Keep me posted.'
After the brief conversation with her mother, Mandy hangs up the phone, while the car heads back to the apartment.
Upon arriving at the apartment, the atmosphere is relaxed and filled with good energy. Jason breaks the silence in a friendly manner.
'That was a nice lunch, thank you for having me,' Jason says, smiling.
' It was a wonderful lunch, I missed that brother, let's rest a bit now, shall we, love?' Dylan says while holding Mandy's hands.
'Let's, my love,' she replies.
Shortly after, Jason heads to his room to get his things for the night ahead. Meanwhile, Dylan and Mandy head to their room, sharing a knowing look filled with joy for the promising night that awaits them.
