My arrogant kidnapper
**Alana
This simply never happened, in all time, there was never a wolf so bold that he dared to lay his hands on a wizard and even kidnap him, but this wolf was doing it while dragging me through the forest deeper and deeper into his domain.
My hands grabbed his abundant fur as my hair was pulled back by the opposite wind. My vision was blurry because of the speed at which the wolf was running. With every step he took, everything got darker and darker, with the treetops covering us. I got further away from my aunt and her carriage, we were already so far away now that if I didn't do anything, I could never go back. I started hitting the wolf with my feet and pulling its fur harder.
"Stop! Stop!" I screamed without stopping hitting him, but no matter how much I continued, my captor didn't seem willing to give in. Frustrated, I looked at the distance to the ground. I knew that at that speed, if I jumped off his back to the ground, I would seriously hurt myself, but more and more, we were moving away from my aunt, and that could be dangerous for me. So I took a deep breath and jumped.
However, as soon as the wolf realized what I was going to do, he tried to stop me, but it was too late, I had already rolled off his back and fallen onto the grass and soft sand. The impact with the floor made me lose the air in my lungs, and I groaned in pain, but I wasn't that hurt.
The wolf spun towards me and roared furiously right in front of me, his muzzle was flared and his dangerous canines were grinding together, the murderous look in his eyes didn't like me jumping out of his lap.
"Let me go!" I demanded, and he growled again in fury, giving his negative answer. And for the love of the Great Wizard, this wolf was simply majestic: big and black, as if he were the Alpha of his pack. But why would an Alpha want to defy the laws and mess with wizarding people like that?
"You're going to get in trouble if you don't let me go," I said with my head raised. He snorted as if laughing at my warnings and spun around on his feet in a waddle, making it clear that he didn't give a damn about that.
He is a reckless werewolf.
I was scared shitless, I wasn't going to be able to fight an Alpha, especially when I was a witch with no power, but this kidnapper of mine didn't need to know that I was a useless witch. The rain was so heavy that thick drops of water fell from the trees, making the ground slippery and damp. I had to act soon, otherwise, this wolf would have me hostage. Without him noticing, I took a quantity of sand in my hand and threw it in his eyes, making him flinch and hiss.
I took advantage of that precious little moment to run away as if my life depended on it, and it did. I didn't know the forest, I was probably lost, but I wasn't going to let the wolf get me. Furthermore, I was determined to stay as far away from him as possible. But everything went wrong when I slipped because of the damn rain and hit my head on a rock below, so everything went dark, just like my hopes.
When I woke up, the day was clear and not at all rainy. I was lying in a bed that was at least comfortable.
"Heavens, my head..." I murmured, running my hand over my throbbing head. There was a smell of food being prepared hanging in the air. I swept my eyes around the place and realized that it was a bold and presentable space. A man was picking at the food, and the man was shirtless.
He turned to me and came towards me. His body was sculptural and well-defined, without the hood, his long hair fell freely to shoulder height, and with his mischievous smile and his cynical and smart look, this was certainly the most intriguing man I had ever met in my life. He was approaching with a mug containing a hot drink. "Good morning, escaping sleeping beauty," he said, greeting me with the same sarcastic air as yesterday. He offered me the hot drink and said, "Take it, it will ease the pain."
"Are you trying to poison me?" I asked, feeling how dry my throat was.
He rolled his eyes before replying, "Why would I poison you? If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you a long time ago." He had a slight look of boredom as he spoke. I bit my lip, wondering if I was going to accept his food, but my hunger and thirst were greater than my reason, so I took the mug and drank the sweet and delicious contents, being satisfied to see how well my body recovered.
"Is this where you live?" I asked looking around the space, "So is it true that werewolves live in caves like primitives." I wanted to offend him.
He gave a sarcastic laugh and replied, "You have a sharp tongue for a witch. Did you learn from your arrogant mother?" He clearly must have thought Mag was my mother.
"She's not my mother, she's my aunt. And she'll come get me," I said with certainty. After all, why would Aunt Mag lose sight of me so soon now that she was going to make good money selling me to the Lightsuns?
My kidnapper was laughing sarcastically. "Do you think that warlocks and witches would have the courage to enter the wolves' territory even if it was to rescue one of you?"
"If some are as foolish as you were when you kidnapped me, yes," I replied accusingly, and I saw his face darken. "What do you plan to do, werewolf? Why did you take me? What do you think you'll get out of this?" I needed to know what his intentions were.
He got up from the bed, "for now what I want most is for you to stop peppering me with questions," he said without looking at me.
"Do you think you're going to stop me?" I was starting to ridicule him, but he stopped me with an icy glare and a commanding voice.
"Especially when you're in my captivity and I can get rid of you whenever I want!" His words were sharp and harsh, and his eyes even lit up a dangerous red for a moment. I realized that this man was truly dangerous and would not hesitate to get rid of me when wanted.
