Books about vampires

Coyote's threatening tone made me a little nervous , but I had no choice , it was either this or let myself be taken in by the trickster prince again and I wasn't going to turn back .

" I am clear on all your rules and conditions , I will support you and I want to protect my parents so I will follow you without question "

He nodded his head , and picked up the glasses to return them to a cabinet full of liquor .

"Follow me I will show you something , to defend yourself from the enemy you must know their history and weaknesses ."

He walked to the inner recesses of the cabin where there was a large wooden door , which he rolled to one side without any difficulty . Behind the door was a huge library filled with countless books , some were located at the top and others at the bottom of a step that over came out of a kind of staircase in the shape of a wooden circle , which was located in the center of that large space .

"i It's mind-blowing !"

I exclaimed unable to contain the beauty of that library , I think is that unique in the world .

"I know, it's great . I inherited it from my mother . The books that are in the center are all about vampires from ancient times , and the books that are located sideways in the cabinets contain everything about the human race ."

My eyes widened , observing all the vast, collection that was in that room. Not even at the University of California had I seen such a magnitude of encyclopedias , and records of mythical and occult subjects to society .

"I warn you that you can not touch anything without my authorization , this is my sacred place and I have never invited anyone to come here , not even my most qualified informants can enter . You are here because in a way we are related and you are interested in knowing more about that vampire prince who bit you ."

I nodded my head without uttering a sound, and just looked up and down the place. There was a kind of tunnel , where a couple of bats were flying harmoniously , they looked like birds dancing in the sky , somehow that captivated me , to think that now I belonged to this strange world was beginning to please me , and I raised the possibility of being more empathetic with the reality that enveloped me .

"Here it is, you must begin to investigate in this book".

He pulled out a thick book, with a velvet leather cover that had a seal engraved in the center, it looked like a pair of fangs with a crown on top . I was slightly shocked with how thick the book was and how scary the cover was .

"What's the matter, are you scared yet ?"

He asked me as he looked at the tension on my face .

"Not at all , I'm just a little surprised . But I'll get used to it , I don't have much choice ."

"That's it , stick out your chest and fill yourself with courage . Don't forget you're a Hall , and Hall's never flinch from anything ."

I took a breath of air and set out to start skimming through the big book of the pure lineage vampire family , of which I was a victim .

Coyote decided to give me some privacy while I began to explore the seemingly endless book.

There were entire pages with graphic drawings about the night walkers and their adaptation over the years , it was logical that they had an entire book to themselves , although they had no way to mate like humans , ,they had the power to turn humans into one of them and thus embitter their lives forever as they did with me .But notice also that the leaders were only those who came from a superior lineage , those vampires who were conceived by vampires and who apparently had been rejected and treated in a more severe way , for not having been able to control themselves as children . I spent a couple of hours in that magnificent library browsing and looking for something about this Prince Araticús , until I finally found something that could work for me .

"Araticús Pocaterra was one of the three princes of the Pocaterra tribe. The dominant clan of the vampire world. He was widely accepted as the overall leader of the Pocaterra and displayed the gift of tactile telepathy. Being able to read someone's thoughts and memories with a single touch. He was the adoptive father of Sara and Emes , as he was the one who turned them into vampires to be his protégés . Both were twins and possessed mind-blowing gifts and well trained by their father .

Before being converted they were simple young men starving to death on a street in Greece in 1300 BC . By capturing the attention of Araticus he deliberately planned to take them over and turn them into the most powerful young men of the clan , as long as they submitted to all his orders . He used Sara's powers and gifts, to change the vampires' loyalties and secure their power status."

I read aloud , as every word and every graphic in the book terrified me more and more . What kind of murky world am I in ? , telepathic powers , vampires bending to the orders of others .

"What, is this , an over natural aristocratic regime ?"

I shouted indignantly , forgetting that I was not alone in the library and that the coyote would probably have been watching me . I poked my nose through the giant book gum but no one was there, I guess I was in the living room of the cabin solving other more important matters .

I continued reading about the fearsome family of aristocrats and came across a couple of old photos of the family, which I don't know if it was good or even scarier .

The physical appearance of Araticus was identical to him in person , the truth the old photos did him justice , forgetting the false appearance of old man who used to deceive me . His physical appearance was similar to that of the coyote and therefore also resembled my current appearance, but much darker and mysterious.

She had translucent white, onion-like skin and looked so delicate. It contrasted with the long black hair that framed her face. Her eyes were red, the same as ours, but the color was cloudy, milky. He had a dress and a hairstyle that, given the time, was perfectly adapted, and that now I imagine he would have modernized without losing the essence of mystery.

Araticús was definitely more somber than the coyote when it came to acting. He was less impulsive, more polite and usually had a cheerful disposition, to the point of being in complete happiness, even in the most objectionable of situations. Underneath this facade of optimistic giddiness, he was power hungry, clever in his actions and highly manipulative.

Things I could tell when we had our meeting, and now looking at his photos and studying his abilities, I know for a fact that he is a powerful enemy. I continued researching in the book and the things I could find were more and more intimidating.

Araticus exercised control over the vampire world, and fought against the opposing clans. He made the other vampires realize that it was necessary to live in the leftovers among humans, in order to survive and thus turn their species into legends and myths instead of real facts. Although he held a deep grudge on humans, and punished those who according to his torrid judgment deserved some kind of condemnation , which involved devouring them to death .
