3.Two Weird Handsome Guys

The meal that day didn't make Rose happy, even though everything looked delicious, and the hotel was also luxurious, but she felt uncomfortable.

The thought that Liuz Raphael was an alien made her shiver, that's why, in the middle of the event, she chose to leave and get some fresh air. All the elevators looked crowded, so Rose preferred to use the stairs. Walking slowly upstairs, she looked calm. She only wanted to go to the rooftop to get some fresh air.

Too many people make Rose uncomfortable, maybe because her personality is introverted. Rose prefers to do everything herself. After making her legs sore, Rose finally reached the rooftop. The place was very spacious, and the good thing was there were lots of seats that she could use.

"Wow, the wind is so fresh!" said Rose, opening her arms and feeling a gust of wind.

However, the wind was getting stronger and stronger, she even heard quite a loud sound from behind her.

"Good grief, what is that?" she grumbled.

A helicopter flew down, stirring up the wind and making Rose have to step aside when the large blades almost blew her skirt open. The helicopter landed on top of the building where she worked, and a man walked in from the opposite direction, wearing a black suit with sunglasses.

“Liuz Raphael!” said Rose.

Seeing Rose there, the man waved his hand before getting into his helicopter. Rose nodded, not very clearly, but a smile spread from Liuz Raphael's lips.

The helicopter took the man away, flying high, perhaps for an urgent meeting somewhere, and he needed to avoid traffic jams. Rose started to think it couldn't be that her boss was an alien, everything she thought was just a coincidence. As she continued to look at the clear sky, Rose didn't know how many things she would go through in the office that day.

Monday, 9 am.

Rose walked hurriedly into the office. She was going to come in at 9.30 am, but because it could be said that it was her first day in the laboratory, she felt she had to leave early. Entering the microbiology department, she saw that it was still quiet there. Not many employees came and that made her more relieved.

“Miss Clara Rose!” called a woman.

Rose immediately turned when she saw a beautiful woman-like model with blonde hair and glasses calling her. The woman was invisible at yesterday's gathering, so it was quite strange that she knew her.

“Yes, Miss? What's wrong?" asked Rose in surprise.

"I'm Bianca, I'm the lab supervisor and I know it's your first day, so I'll guide you!" she answered.

“Ah, I understand. "Okay Miss Bianca, what should I do?" asked Rose.

"Follow me!" the woman answered.

Bianca took Rose to the employee locker room, which was quite large. Safe with locks and give an empty one to Rose.

"You can put your things here, then this is your laboratory uniform and your name tag. You are not allowed to bring anything from outside into the laboratory, food, or anything else unless we ask you to!" Bianca explained.

"Yes, Miss,"

“Then this is your first project! You are the researcher responsible for this!” said Bianca, handing her a folder containing the research plan and what her company wanted to know about the research.

Rose was silent. Her first assignment was.

“Looking for electrical potential compounds in Micro Species? What's this?" asked Rose in surprise.

“That's what you have to look into, Rose! You have to think about the way! This Research Institute wants to find sources of electricity from microorganisms, some very small living creatures that can have unexpected energy. Who knew they could have superpowers? Ha ha!" said Bianca a little jokingly.

Even though the woman in front of her seemed relaxed, on the first day she managed to make Rose dizzy. So far she has only identified strange microscopic species. Looking for potentially electrical compounds in their bodies would require special procedures.

"Don't be confused, Rose, you will be assisted by micro-chemists and micro-physicists, so you just need to confirm the species without being confused!" Bianca explained.

"So that's how it is. Okay, I understand."

“You will work with Jarvis and David. They are very experienced and genius, but their weakness is that they don't get along a little, so I hope you guys can get along! I'll go first, you make your absence there before entering the laboratory!" said Bianca smiling then walked away.

Rose started changing her clothes, straightening her hair, and putting her things away. Walk confidently into the spotless laboratory.

“Wow! This is what a micro-lab should be like!” Rose muttered as she started to pass through the sterilizer gate.

A kind of blower with special air that felt warm scanned her body. She felt much more sterile when she went there. Several UV lamps are installed on the door. Of course, these rays also function to sterilize the room. From what Rose knows, UV light is quite effective at killing germs in the air.

After undergoing a series of sterilization procedures, the girl walked to look for her research room. Room number 34 was visible on the researcher's map, so without hesitation, Rose walked there. The room was still quiet, there was no one, maybe because Rose had come there early.

Rose was stunned when she saw a fairly large electron microscope with its giant monitor in the room. Of course, the microorganism preparations that are put in there will be very clearly visible.

Rose looked at several water samples, but she wasn't sure if it was the water samples she would use for her research this time. However, because she was curious, she started to lift all the test tubes that had been labeled there.

"Good morning!" said a man.

Rose, who was shocked, almost let go of the test tube in her hand, but the man who had just arrived swiftly caught it.

"Good grief! Be careful Miss! It's not easy to get all these samples!” said the man.

“Yeah, I'm sorry. "I was surprised to hear how big your voice was," answered Rose.

“Ah, yes, my voice is a little different. But usually women like men with deep voices like me!" said the man confidently.

Rose looked at the name tag and saw that the man's name was Jarvis. He must be a chemist, as Bianca explained earlier. It's just that Bianca didn't explain that the man named Jarvis was very dashing and handsome, very different from researchers in general who looked naughty.

"I'm Rose, nice to meet you. I hope we can work together in the future!" said Rose, trying to be friendly.

"Yes, I know, I can read your name from your name tag, by now you should also know my name!" said Jarvis while showing his name tag.

"Jarvis is it!"

"Yes, you're right! "Please remember my name," he said, smiling kindly.

Rose just started laughing and grinning, it seemed that Jarvis' character was unique. The man began to look busy arranging his research desk. Busy with the solutions he will probably use later.

"Oh yes, Rose, David will be here soon! Don't be surprised if he's a little strange. I've never been able to understand his character, I hope that guy doesn't bother you!” Jarvis said, as if he wasn't strange himself.

Rose once again just smiled, she was more focused on the preparations she would make today. But when another man entered the room, she immediately turned around.

A man with blue hair and glasses, he looks more like an idol than a researcher, his hair is stylish and out of the ordinary for smart men in general.

“He's coming!” Jarvis whispered in code.

“I heard it! Are you starting to gossip about me with someone new, Jarvis?” said David, who seemed to understand his colleague's hard work.

“Oops, I got caught! Ha ha,” Jarvis laughed.

"Hi, your name is Rose, right? Nice to see you here, at least I don't only work with weird men like him!" David said.

"Huh, if I'm weird what are you!" Jarvis replied.

“I'm a handsome genius! You can call me that!” he said very confidently.

Rose just grinned at the ridiculous debate between her two colleagues, but if she could judge, the two colleagues had good-looking visuals. But regarding work, Rose felt that it wasn't something she needed to care about, she just needed to focus on her research.

Rose began preparing one sample. From the water samples she had to identify what species she found. Putting the preparations in place and starting to turn on the large monitor, Rose observed what microorganisms were preparing, and the girl began to be amazed. Micro-creatures of various species appear to run swiftly across the preparations.

“Wow, where did this water sample come from? I have never seen micro preparations with such a variety of species!” Rose muttered.

“Sample number one, isn't it?” Jarvis started to respond, he opened his research list and started to answer.

"That is a water sample from the Amazon River spring!" Jarvis replied.

“Amazon? What? Are you serious?" Rose asked to confirm what she had heard.

“Just look at your list, Rose! It's right behind there!" David said, pointing to the folder Rose was holding.

Rose turned over the folder and then read one by one the source of the water samples in the test tube. Her eyes bulged, she was shocked because the water came from many different places from various springs on Earth.

"This is amazing!" she said.
