4. He Knows Me

Various water samples from many places in the world are in the laboratory where she works. All of this was deliberately prepared for use in research carried out by the three young researchers.

“How can this company get so many water samples from so many far-flung places? Is there a special team responsible for that?” Rose asked.

“You have no idea how rich the company we work for is! I often ask questions like you, but I can't find answers. So I just focused on researching, the endless resources and completeness of tools and materials is heaven for researchers, isn't it!" Jarvis answered.

“This time I agree with him, at Atom Points you will always be amazed. It's as if this place was created not by humans, but by alien geniuses!” David said.

Hearing the word alien, Rose just grinned. Of course, she doesn't want that to be true, it's clear she's a bit anti-alien. She just hoped that everything in her office would run normally as is.

"Okay, I will work seriously!" Rose replied, starting to research again.

The three researchers in the room looked busy in different fields. All three of them were looking for microorganisms that produce electricity. A little impossible, but nothing is impossible in this world.

Starting from species one, Rose identified it and her two other colleagues began carrying out chemical and physical tests. They made note after note, and it didn't feel like they had been working for quite a long time, even when the lunch bell rang they realized they had lost themselves in their research.

“What bell is this?” Rose asked.

"Lunch time!" Jarvis answered while he was busy pouring out the chemical solution.

"Go lunch, Rose! The cafeteria is on the third floor!" said David, who was still wearing glasses and checking the electricity of the microorganism colonies in his sample.

"Ah, yeah, aren't you guys eating?" asked Rose.

"We will. But, we were just waiting for it!”

"It? What?" asked Rose in surprise.

Jarvis and David just grinned and not after a few seconds something was heard coming and moving with a loud noise.

"Lunch time! Lunchtime! Hey, how long can you keep working? Eat quickly!” said something that turned out to be a time-keeping robot.

"Wow, there's something like this here?" said Rose in surprise.

Jarvis and David immediately stood up when the robot arrived. They immediately fiddled with the buttons on the robot that came.

"Do not touch! Don't do anything prohibited! Jarvis! David! You'd better go to the cafeteria immediately!" said the robot, taking out two robotic hands which quickly caught Jarvis and David's naughty hands.

"Come on! You're also a new kid, Clara Rose Anderson, you're too skinny!” said the robot instead of commenting.

“Hey, you're rude too!” Rose answered.

David and Jarvis, who were gripped by the robot's hand, were immediately put on a kind of delivery trolley and pushed by the robot quickly to the cafeteria. That's what Jarvis and David wanted. They love to skate and even laugh along the way.

“Man, they are so tacky!” muttered Rose as she walked slowly following the robot's path to go up to the third floor.

As she expected, the two strange men had arrived first and had already brought plates full of food to his table. Sitting opposite each other, they are too compact for two people who are said to not get along.

“Rose! Sit here!" shouted Jarvis.

"Yeah, I will. Wait, I want to get some food!" Rose answered.

"Just sit here, no need to bother!" shouted David while waving.

Seeing her two colleagues like that, Rose began to wonder what would happen if she didn't get food. Will strange robots be coming to her or something else?

Walking towards her two friends, a chair appeared to be being prepared for her. Rose sat sweetly, waiting for a miracle, and it was true, several flying robots like drones approached her, offering a menu order book, and quickly another flying robot brought the same dishes as what Rose had asked for.

“Wow, that's so cool!” said Rose.

"Exactly right! "That's why I prefer to relax," said Jarvis, chuckling.

The three of them ate, enjoying the lunch menu, which was quite delicious. While they were enjoying eating, a man caught the attention of all the employees, who else but Liuz. He was wearing casual clothes this time. With a T-shirt and blue denim cargo pants, also sneakers, and go into the cafeteria.

“Our handsome CEO! If I were a woman I would have dated him!” David said.

"I know your orientation is a bit deviant. I already know it, don't ever approach me!" said Jarvis.

"I'm just saying that if I were a woman. But I am a normal man! You'd be fine! Who wants you anyway?" said David.

"Why am I? I'm quite charming!" Jarvis answered confidently.

"Stop it! Your confidence makes me sick!" said David.

While her two colleagues were making a fuss, Rose only glanced occasionally. She felt horrified, so she chose to remain silent and continue eating.

“Hey, Rose! You're a woman, right? Why aren't you interested? He is the perfect man!” David said.

“I don't know, I don't like romance office. So, I'm not interested!" Rose answered.

“But he's the ideal man, right? Is it because you like looking at microorganisms that your view of men is a little different? Is that handsome like me?” asked Jarvis with a mischievous smile.

"Never mind, you guys have made my appetite disappear! I'll finish first, I'm going to work!" Rose replied, immediately standing up and leaving.

Before she had time to leave, it turned out that Liuz Raphael was standing right behind her.

“Hello, Miss Clara Rose Anderson. Nice to meet you here," greeted Luiz Raphael.

"Ghost!" Rose looked so surprised.

"Where are you going? Isn't mealtime just starting?” asked the man, looking wondering.

David and Javis looked surprised, they didn't expect the CEO to know their co-workers.

"I've eaten, Sir. Now I want to go back to work," replied Rose, grinning as she slanted away.

"You don't want to eat anymore?" Liuz asked.

“No sir, thank you!” Rose replied, nodding and immediately ran away.

"Hey, what's wrong with her?" said Jarvis in surprise, as did David, who shook his head as a sign that he didn't understand.

“How is your project going? Isn't it going well?" Liuz asked two of Rose's lab colleagues.

“Everything is fine, Sir. Miss Rose is also a genius. "We were quite impressed with her abilities," answered David.

“Then why is she rushing to work again? Is she avoiding me?” Liuz asked.

Jarvis just grinned and shook his head, as did David, who shrugged his shoulders as a sign of not understanding.

“I'm curious, so I'll ask! What is your workspace number?" Liuz asked.

“Number 34, sir!” Jarvis replied, looking like he had no choice.

"Okay, I'll be there!" said Liuz, walking away.

Jarvis and David looked at each other. They were confused because the CEO knew their co-worker. The man, even without further ado, wanted to meet her.

"Do they have a special relationship, huh?" Jarvis guessed.

"I don't know, isn't today Rose's first day at work? Are they old acquaintances? Interesting!" David answered.

The break time was still quite long, but Rose seemed to choose to relax in her office, she didn't even eat much earlier. Fortunately, in the workroom, there is a pantry that provides tea, coffee, and milk for employees.

Rose started sipping her coffee while opening the research design book she had. She seemed more comfortable like that than joining the crowd in the cafeteria.

"It turns out you're here," said someone.

Rose was very surprised when the man she wanted to avoid came without further ado.

“Yes, Sir. What's wrong? Why are you here?” Rose asked.

"I wanted to chat with you, but you just left!" he answered.

"Chat? With me? Why?" Rose asked.

"Yes, we don't know each other, so I want to chat," he answered again.

"Yes, we met yesterday, at a new staff gathering," said Rose.

"No! I met you for the first time on Mount Amba! About three years ago! Do you remember?” Liuz asked with a smile.

Rose immediately got goosebumps, this man was an alien, and he recognized Rose even though Rose tried to forget him.

“So you are the guy who fell from the sky? Now tell me what you want!” Rose asked warily.
