Akira's POV

"Fuck this woman!" I curse reading the message, "I got to go..." I said pulling my bag.

"What is it?" Vida asked.

"It's Mother, she went to Lady Cassandra Casino to gamble, and then as usual she lost and she is making a scene there." I sighed.

"Careful..." she said, I nodded as I pushed the door and hurried out of the building. I was boiling already after I pay off her debt, at this point I have nothing left in my account, I am fucking broke.

She grabbed the bottle of alcohol that was on the table the very moment she walked into our building.

"Mother, what is it? How long are we going to do this shit? If it's not you drunk on the street and passing out at the bar, is you at the casino gambling away your life..." I snarled as her actions were pissing me already, she raised her hand and slapped her hand across my face. I shut my eyes as I tried to prevent the tears that were welling in my eyes.

"Oh Mother, I heard your voice, what is going on?" Linda said rushing to our mother, I rolled my eyes at her actions.

"You should asked this ungrateful sister of yours?" She growls pointing at me.

"What the heck did you do to my Mother?" She asked like she cared.

"I did nothing, I am just telling Mother to cut down her drinking and gambling habit, it's irritating, we don't have that money..."

"You ungrateful selfish bitch." Mother slapped me for the second time, I rolled my tongue at the affected side of my cheeks.

"It's not like that, Mother, I am trying to fix this family, I work my ass out to put food on our table and then you accumulated debts for me, I am human."

"Now you are complaining, you didn't complain when I took you in, you didn't complain when I put food on your table when your worthless cheating father brought you to me and abandoned you. In case you have forgotten, you are the results of that unholy relationship and now you stand and tell me what to do?" She pushed my shoulder in anger, I didn't raise my hand or try to stop her from hurting me. "I owe you, so you should do my bidding, you are under my roof, I have cared for you for fifteen years, even when that naughty father of yours doesn't care, where is he here? He is nowhere to be found, he ran away with another woman but I didn't throw you out, now it's your turn to care for me, you are complaining?" She pushed my shoulder. "Akira, are you complaining?" She snarled, I shut my eyes shaking my head.

"I am not, sorry, it's all a bad idea," I said.

"Good, now give me money, I need cash..." She stretched out her hand.

"I don't have," I said, and it's the truth, I don't have anything in me.

"Don't call me that." I know that she didn't stop reminding me that I am not her daughter, I know that but it's not my fault, that my father is a cheater and I don't even know my mother.

"All you fucking do is lie, you this ungrateful child."

"I said don't call me that, every time I see your face, I remember how your cheating father cheated on me, you are the product of that cheating monster that calls himself my husband, get off my face." She yelled, I sighed as I walked into my room, leaving my mother and her favorite daughter, of course, I am not her daughter, so why should she care about me? My phone rang as I pushed the door of my room.

"Vida..." I murmured.

"What did that monster do to you?" Vida's voice wasn't friendly, I could feel her nose flaring up in anger.

"She did nothing, just her usual request for money and the reminder that I am not her child, a product of cheating..." I scoffed.

"Don't take her words to heart, and I don't even know the reason you are still staying with her, you should come stay with me, you know that my house..."

"C'mon Vida, it hasn't gotten to that, if she gets too violent I will leave."

"And you think acting that way towards you is not too violent, I could hear Lady Cassandra ranting to her friends how she stripped you of all your saves, that it wouldn't take long before you came running back to her and begging that she let you work in her bar."
