Chapter 3 Relax, Don't Be Afraid!

Natalie didn't relax until the car stopped in front of Building 7. She got out, thanked Daniel, and hurried towards the villa.

Daniel watched her rush off, a smile playing on his lips. He thought about following her inside but then changed his mind and drove away.

"Natalie!" Renee's voice boomed as Natalie passed by the villa. "Why are you so late? Get in here and start washing the vegetables!"

In the Cullen family, Natalie was treated like a lowly servant, bossed around by everyone.

Natalie quickly changed her clothes and headed to the kitchen. Renee eyed her fair face and frowned. "Where's your mask? Are you trying to mess with Alice?"

Alice had set a rule in the Cullen family: Natalie had to wear a mask at all times. If she showed her face, anyone could slap her.

Natalie quickly pulled a mask from her pocket, leaving only her bright eyes visible. Renee gave her a hard look before leaving her to her chores.

Just then, a luxury car pulled up outside. A man in a sleek, ash-gray suit stepped out. He was tall, handsome, and exuded confidence.

Renee, who had just reached the door, saw him and rushed over excitedly. "Mr. Howard, what brings you here?"

The man was Adrian, heir to the Howard family, the most powerful and wealthiest family in Vachilit , with a net worth in the hundreds of billions.

Renee bowed respectfully and ushered Adrian inside, instructing a servant, "Go get Mr. and Mrs. Cullen and make some coffee!"

In the living room, Adrian sat casually on the sofa, yet his presence filled the room with tension

Natalie walked in with the coffee, her head bowed. She placed the tray on the table gently. "Please enjoy," she said, glancing up and then freezing as she saw Adrian's face.

It was him!

Scenes from the previous night flooded her mind—his rough behavior, the lingering pain on her body. She could almost hear his deep, raspy voice saying, "Relax, don't be scared."

Natalie trembled, the coffee cup in her hand shaking. Seeing the coffee spill, she instinctively tried to catch it with her hand, ignoring the pain. However, a few drops still landed on Adrian's trousers.

He raised an eyebrow at her. She kept her head down, her mask hiding her face, her body frail and dressed plainly. Despite being just a servant, she seemed oddly familiar to him.

"What are you doing?" Renee scolded, quickly apologizing to Adrian. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Howard. Did it burn you?"

Adrian's intense gaze lingered on Natalie, making she feel a burning sensation at every spot he had touched and bitten the night before.

She kept her head down, still trembling, barely registering the pain in her hand from the hot coffee.

Adrian watched her silently.

Renee snapped, "Natalie, hurry up and apologize!"

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Howard," Natalie mumbled, grabbing a napkin to wipe the coffee off his trousers.

A familiar cherry blossom scent wafted up, identical to the one from that night. Adrian's eyes narrowed.

Natalie finished cleaning and prepared to leave.

"Stop," Adrian commanded.
