Chapter 3: Mr.Billionaire

I was astounded to discover that an unfamiliar man held the position of CEO in a renowned company. His conduct did not align with the expectations of his role. Without hesitation, I approached the woman seated at the reception desk to inquire further.

"Pardon me, Miss. I am in search of Mr. Diego Alfonzo," I politely stated, accompanied by a smile.

"Very well, Ma'am. May I have your name, please?" the woman inquired.

"Prima Montero," I promptly responded.

"I apologize, Ma'am, but your name does not appear on the list. You must schedule an appointment beforehand," the woman calmly informed me.

"What?!" I exclaimed, my expression turning sour.

"Miss, I must speak with your superior!" I desperately pleaded, raising my voice.

"Are you raising your voice at us?!" she retorted, her voice growing louder.

"Damn it! I am pregnant, and Diego Alfonzo is the father of my child. He impregnated me, and he must take responsibility!" I boldly confessed to them.

However, they merely laughed at me and dismissed my words as unbelievable. I felt my anger building up inside me during those moments. I made a vow to myself that I would not rest until that man accepted responsibility for my pregnancy.

After leaving the company, I couldn't help but look back, hoping to catch a glimpse of him once more. My eyes scanned the surroundings, desperately searching for him. He couldn't just walk away from his responsibilities as the father of my child. The thought of returning to the front desk to schedule an appointment crossed my mind, but they seemed to ignore my presence. Frustrated, I contemplated resorting to threatening their CEO.

"Fine, I'll let it go. But mark my words, I will expose the true nature of this company's CEO. Everyone will know what a worthless man he is!" I threatened, my voice filled with determination.

"Alright, just give us your contact information so we can reach out to you," a woman responded.

A smile crept across my face as I handed her my calling card. I didn't hesitate, effortlessly convincing them of my intentions.

However, deep down, I knew I couldn't actually follow through with my words. I didn't want to tarnish the reputation of the father of my child. As I waited for their call, I gently cradled my stomach, feeling a mix of emotions.

I hailed a taxi and attempted to call Jessa once again, but she remained unresponsive. Upon arriving home, I discovered my mother diligently cleaning the kitchen. Our eyes met, and I immediately embraced her, holding her tightly.

"I'm sorry, Mom," I sincerely apologized as I drew closer to her.

We both expressed our apologies, grateful that despite everything, I had a loving and supportive mother by my side.

"It's alright, prim, and I apologize as well. I was genuinely concerned about you, which is why I couldn't help but raise my voice," she said apologetically.

We exchanged smiles, but little did she know about the hidden troubles I was facing.

Even after three days, I hadn't received a call from that Stranger. I kept staring at my phone, and my mother noticed my preoccupation.

"Are you waiting for a call?" my mom inquired.

"Oh, it's nothing, mom," I lied.

"Why have you been constantly looking at your phone?" she asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

I simply smiled at her and quickly came up with an excuse. I told her that I was waiting for a call regarding a promotion at work.

"A promotion? Does that mean you've been promoted?" she asked, a smile forming on her face.

"Mom, I'm still waiting for the call, so I'm not entirely sure yet," I replied.

She responded with a warm smile and embraced me tightly. Her pride in me made me feel incredibly guilty. I couldn't fathom how I could lie to her. However, I knew that if she found out, she would be furious. I desperately wanted to shield her from the truth about my pregnancy until everything was settled.

My mind was in turmoil, and I yearned to return to the Alfonzo company. That man had to take responsibility for our children.

As I stepped into the room, exhaustion washed over me and I collapsed onto the bed. While waiting for the call from Alfonzo company, I couldn't help but think about reaching out to Jessa. Finally, I managed to answer her call.

"Hey, sorry for the delay. I've been busy helping out Aries' mom at the hospital," she apologized.

Understanding her situation, I contemplated visiting the hospital.

After our conversation, I quickly got up, ready to freshen up and get dressed. With a towel in hand, I made my way to the bathroom for a much-needed shower.

After a few minutes, I emerged from the shower and picked out an outfit from the cabinet.

Suddenly, my phone rang, causing me to panic. Excitement surged through me as I saw an unknown number flashing on the screen.

"Hello, this is Prima Montero. Who am I speaking to?" I inquired.

"Let's meet at G&Y restaurant at 2 pm," came the serious reply.

Before I could finish my sentence, the caller abruptly ended the call, leaving me bewildered. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself after the rude encounter. Despite the person's behavior, I reminded myself to remain humble for the sake of our child.

Around 1:30, I arrived at the restaurant, taking a moment to compose myself and fix my hair before entering. As I scanned the spacious restaurant, my eyes immediately landed on the man sitting not too far away.

In his tuxedo, he exudes an undeniable charm, complemented by a crisp white long sleeve and a perfectly tied necktie. Even in simplicity, his handsomeness radiates effortlessly. His thick eyebrows, the tip of his nose, and his captivating red lips contribute to his overall perfection. Lost in admiration, I didn't even realize I was staring at him. Suddenly, he glanced at me with an intense gaze, as if I were prey about to be devoured.

"How much do you need?" he asked bluntly as soon as I settled into my seat.

Perplexed, I replied, "What do you mean?"

Without missing a beat, he casually responded, "Alright, let's say three million."

His words left me utterly bewildered. Is this really how this man communicates?
