Sparkling Paltry

It was finally time, After the episode inside I was ordered to take my bath and that I did, I’m sitting down in a cloth I will call a rag, it was clean but lacked quality and color but this was what I was told to wear and I don’t have a say in this, so. after waiting for a few hours in my room, I was called for and I was escorted down by the female bodyguard, I mean she was all he had so, coming downstairs a group of men, four in number, waited for me outside the house, they were my new owners I see.

“Ohh here’s our dream package, the one you saw that day and you liked.” He said, Spreading his arms out to the side as I came forward, he Introduced me like I was his grand reveal.

“Wow she’s gorgeous, the boss would like this one, we will take good care of her as long as she takes good care of us.” One of them said, laughing and the others followed, indeed I am they are priced package, I was bought So what can I say.

“Well, we like them feisty, well not all us but the boss, he likes to break people like this.” They said, as one dragged me to the side and escorted me to the car.

As we went forward, I overheard the other two talking about Pedro and I was really interested but I couldn’t go back because it could be an issue so I faced forward and minded my business.

After their discussion we were on the move and then one of them who sat by me immediately covered my head.

After that I freaked out a little but then he said.

“We can’t let you know where we are going Little Miss naughty, when we arrive, we will uncover your mask” after he said these words I relaxed and did not do much but wait.

We had a few stops, one of them wanted to buy a cigar, The other some snacks, I could overhear everything.

But then we were finally on the road and since I had a bag over my head it was dark inside, my set of view was only restricted to nimble lights that pass through the mask so I decided to sleep.

I woke up but I was the only one in the car, the bag obstructed my head from properly seeing where we were but I know for that moment I was the only one in the car, there was no voice and we parked somewhere.

“sigh.” My first words in their car.

“When are we getting to our destination already, I’m getting tired but my ass is also hurting” I said out loud.

My hands were tied together and my head bag strapped at the back, they really planned themselves well, or I could have escaped by now. this may not be my car but it is insanely quiet, but then I started to hear muffled sound of people getting closer so I comported myself and then.

After we started to move, I asked twice if were there and they replied no, twice, I could sense that the light passing through my mask was still there so in my head it’s still noon.

“Phewwww, we are finally here.” One of them said. Then they stopped, like a checkpoint or something.

“Mother fucker, what’s with the shades, I almost mistook you for a stranger.” The voice came from outside with a Mexican accent. Then they all laughed and said, it’s us ehh, Ese.

“Get in already.” He said as they drove in and then parked, they stopped twice, which means there were two gates, and they went upwards which means, we were heading to a hill.

“Alright we are here" one of them said, taking off my mask and then untying my hand.

We got there at night, me thinking that we were at noon, the small nimble of light I saw through the mask was just light from the car, no wonder it wasn’t really intense.

I came down from the car and then looked around, observing where I’ll be staying probably next forever.

I looked around the first thing that caught my eyes were the well trimmed bushes at the walls stretching from where I was down to as far as I could see, they weren’t anything special we had that in our house too but these had flowers growing at the top of it, they were really close to the walls, there were no gaps and it looks like it was growing from the walls but then it has its own grass foundation, this really looks nice.

There was a fountain right in the middle of the compound, the house was still far in but not so far, The fountain had its own grass bed and its own special flowers around it, well decorated.

I mean in the movies mafia houses looked good and clean and that is exactly what I saw here I never expected the flowers, I only expected the greens, probably from the grass or bushes.

Now talking about the mansion, It was beautiful surrounded by the flowers and grass beds, decorated staircase to climb up and also the light reflection on it made it look golden.

“Alright it’s time to go.” One of them said, going forward and allowing me to walk on my own.

The closer we got, the clearer it was to me that I would not be taking the staircase up front, we passed the side of the building and entered through the left, taking a short stair down.

The passage had 4 door and we stopped at the fourth one

“Whose there?.” Someone asked.

“Fresh meat has arrived.” They said…

“Uuuuuuu..” she said opening the door.

At the first look she had downturned eyes and a straight nose, she looked like someone who I know, someone from TV.

“she really is fresh meat, I see.” She said, with her eye scanning me from top to bottom, Then she smiled.

“Shes gonna fit in perfectly.” she said to the guys outside, I was wary of her looks because she looked at me like I was a challenge of some sorts.

“Watch over her, you hear and teach all the good stuff, she will be due for the boss in a day so.” They said, and handed me over to her.

“Don’t worry fellas, she will be sparkling for the boss, like I normally do, I will not disappoint him.” She said as they walked away.

“Yup we trust you for sure.” They said to her nodding and walking away.

I walked in and saw beds, bunk beds to be exact, in numbers of 8, there were 11 girls in total and I was to be sleeping on the 8th bed, the bottom bunk.

“Firstly, go and wash up and sleep, you are at the 8th bunk and that’s where you will always stay.” She said, got it, she asked me.

“….” I nodded and she then added.

“Your clothes are on your bed; you will be granted 7 pairs of clothes and you will be granted 3 Rag sacs.” She said to me walking forward.

“You aren’t allowed in this door, by the right and this door by the extreme left.” She said to me again.

“…” I looked at her and just nodded

I took my bath, and when I was done, I put on one of the sacks, they aren’t really sacks of rag, they are just clothes that don’t have much color and everyone owns one, they were three in number, different shades of brown, from dark to the light, the stitching was obvious and pretty rough, one was paired with a short, the other with pants and the last one with a skirt. I wore the one with a skirt and then prepared to sleep as the thought came upon me.

I really am now a slave, me an everglade, I guess this is my reward for being foolish. I said as my eyelids heaved to be open and slowly got shut.

“Woah shes so beautiful.”

“Wow, she really has nice skin.”

“whose she….” The voices I heard as I slept….

I let out a deep relaxing “ahhhh” stretching, as I yawned and then I opened my eyes and I saw all the girls at my bed all staring.

I looked in confusion and I was slowly freaking out, what exactly is happening?

“What are you girls doing.” Nancy said as she came out of her room, she had a room separate from everyone, maybe its because she is in charge here.

The girls stood upright, facing her and said.

“Nothing.”

“Oh, you are admiring our newest member huhh..”She said as she walked closer.

“I guess you are pretty at night and beautiful at day huh.” She said , giving me the same eyes as yesterday

“she’s so beautiful.” One of the girls said.

“Right” The others answered.

Me? Looking pretty? Yeah right that is my disguise because my truth is I am an expensive paltry.
