Why did Starla feel so nervous? Starla tried to push that anxiety out of her mind. She remembered Luna’s advice, who had been enthusiastically supporting her for today. But there was something tickling in Starla’s heart, like clouds in a clear sky trying to hide the sun. With a pounding heart, Starla finally reached the lobby. Ha-neul smiled warmly upon seeing her.
“Good morning, Starla! We’re going to have a great time today,” Ha-neul said enthusiastically. “I’ll show you all the beautiful places.”
Starla smiled back, trying to shake off her nervousness. “Really? Well then, let’s get started.”
They both stepped onto the bustling streets of Seoul, a city full of life and cultural wonders. First, they visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, a magnificent palace that exuded the charm of ancient Korean history.
Upon arrival, Starla was immediately captivated by the beauty of the palace’s architecture. The gracefully curved roofs, majestic walls, and neatly arranged gardens around it created a magical atmosphere that surpassed her imagination. Ha-neul, clearly excited, lovingly recounted the long history of this palace to Starla. He added color to Starla’s experience with intriguing details about life in the palace in ancient times.
“Ha-neul, how could the history of Gyeongbokgung Palace be so rich?” Starla asked, her eyes sparkling.
Ha-neul smiled enthusiastically. “Oh, Starla, this palace has a very interesting history! Built in the 14th century, this palace was the royal residence during the Joseon Dynasty.”
Starla was amazed. “Wow, it’s been standing for so long. How did they manage to preserve this building over centuries?”
“There have been many restoration efforts throughout its history, but the original parts have been well maintained. It’s very important for us to preserve our cultural heritage,” Ha-neul explained.
They both explored the palace, entering historic rooms filled with ancient artifacts. Starla looked around in awe, feeling connected to Korea’s legendary past. Ha-neul informed her how the palace was a significant symbol of Korea’s glory and culture.
After touring the grand palace, Starla and Ha-neul continued their culinary adventure to Namdaemun traditional market. The market was lively with colors and tempting aromas of local Korean food. They strolled past stalls offering various dishes, from spicy tteokbokki to delicious bibimbap.
Starla looked around excitedly. “Ha-neul, what should we try first? Everything looks so enticing!”
Ha-neul smiled. “Let’s start with tteokbokki, Starla. It’s a favorite dish here. The spiciness will surely tickle your taste buds!”
They ordered a plate of tteokbokki from one of the vendors and sat at a small table at the edge of the market. Starla picked up a piece of tteok with chopsticks and took a bite. The spicy and sweet flavors immediately impressed her.
“Wow, this is really delicious!” Starla exclaimed with a smile. “It tastes so authentic!”
Ha-neul chuckled. “Wait until you try bibimbap. It’s a mix of rice, vegetables, meat, and egg served in a hot stone bowl. I’m sure you’ll love it.”
Soon, they ordered two bowls of bibimbap. Starla mixed all the ingredients with the spicy sauce, enjoying the burst of flavors with each bite.
“Mmm, so appetizing!” Starla said with a satisfied smile.
They continued eating and sharing stories about their adventures in Seoul. Starla was delighted to taste authentic Korean dishes with Ha-neul, who explained each dish with enthusiasm.
The beautiful day continued with new adventures for Starla and Ha-neul in Seoul. After enjoying culinary delights at Namdaemun market, they proceeded to N Seoul Tower, the city’s iconic landmark known for its stunning night views. They took a cable car up to the tower’s peak, where the city of Seoul began to reveal its grandeur under the twilight.
Starla and Ha-neul sat in the cable car, smiling as the scenery became more beautiful with each ascent. Upon reaching the top, the dazzling lights of Seoul spread out beneath them. Starla was mesmerized by the towering buildings shining like stars in the night sky.
“This is truly amazing,” Starla murmured in awe.
Ha-neul looked at her with a soft smile. “Seoul indeed has extraordinary charm, especially at night like this.”
They walked towards the observation deck, greeted by the breathtaking views around them. The city lights passing like twinkling stars adorned the night, creating a captivating and charming atmosphere. Starla and Ha-neul were enchanted by the beauty surrounding them, smiling in admiration at each other. Amidst the city’s dazzle, they felt the magic in the air, filling their hearts with gratitude and joy.
“It feels like a dream,” Starla said, gazing around at Ha-neul.
Ha-neul nodded. “Yes, it’s truly beautiful. Tonight will surely be one of our best memories in Seoul.”
They sat at the edge of the platform, looking down at the glittering city. Starla felt wonder in the air, with the city’s vibrant energy filling her with excitement. The cool night air and bustling sounds inspired her, making her feel alive and spirited. Starla smiled at Ha-neul, sharing her joy in this beautiful moment, above the city that never sleeps.
“This is so beautiful, Ha-neul,” Starla said, admiring her surroundings with awe.
Ha-neul smiled. “I’m glad you like it, Starla. The view from here is truly stunning.”
While taking in the surroundings on their journey together, Starla revealed her feelings, “This atmosphere inspires me to write.”
Curiously, Ha-neul asked, “Write? Are you a writer?”
Starla scratched her neck shyly, then laughed softly. “Yes, I am. I’m a novelist.”
Ha-neul was impressed. “Wow, that’s amazing! I love reading but have no talent in literacy.”
Starla looked at Ha-neul with disbelief. As it turned out, the man beside her also enjoyed reading novels like her. Her eyes sparkled with admiration upon realizing this shared interest. Ha-neul smiled, sensing Starla’s joy.
Starla smiled happily, ready to share and discuss their favorite books. It seemed like the beginning of a wonderful friendship, thanks to their love for stories that brought imagination to life.
“Oh, really? What’s your favorite book?” Starla asked eagerly, her face glowing as she waited for Ha-neul’s answer.
Ha-neul smiled mysteriously. “There’s one book I love the most. A book about... them. The stars Altair, Vega, and Deneb.”
Starla furrowed her brow, puzzled. “Altair, Vega, and Deneb?”
