INTRO

Deep in the mountains, far beyond the valley and way across the rivers, is a huge 'world' that occupies acres and acres of land, a home for Changelings, called Naturiah.

Changelings are 'people' who can take on the form of an animal; Leopards, mountain lions, werewolves, deer, swans, rats, cats, and a lot of others.

There are two Changelings more powerful than the rest in Naturiah. These two species are the werewolves and the mountain lions—also called Cougars.

For centuries, these two Changelings have been enemies, fighting for dominance over other species. These two creatures are feared by all. They are Predators. They live among humans, like humans. But...more.

Fangs, sharper than tungsten needles, that can tear through a prey's skin in one single bite.

Claws stronger than the best katana swords that can shred an enemy into pieces in one single strike.

Furs, softer than a nursing mother's breasts; that whoever they let close enough to feel their furs cling to it and find it hard to let go.

These two species stayed enemies for as long as anyone can remember until two centuries ago, the werewolves and the mountain lions managed to not only make peace with each other, but every pack and clan came together to coexist like one.

They signed a peace treaty that was never broken, and the mountain lions stepped back for the werewolves to take up leadership of the land of Naturiah.

New rules were made for the betterment of the land. Outside their lands, they shove down most of their basic instincts for a better coexistence with humans, but in their lands, they do not suppress who they are.

Powerful. Fearless. Highly Sexual. Instinctive. Dominant. Predators.

There are rumors...

Whispers around in secret.

Murmurs in pitch darkness. Of the most powerful 'man' in Naturiah.

The most fearsome creature. The fiercest predator Naturiah has ever had. A man who is the 'impossible'.

Rumors have it, that his powers and strength not only surpass that of all 'men' but theirs are nothing compared to his.

He is their Alpha.

Most species have an Alpha, but this 'man' is the Alpha of all Alphas. The ultimate Alpha.

The Alpha King.

They think him a god.

He is respected like one.

He is feared like one.

They call him god.

Because he is a crossbreed between the two most powerful creatures.

He has the strength of a mountain lion and the power of a werewolf.

He can take the form of a mountain lion, a werewolf, or a man.

Why?

Because he is a werewolf AND a mountain lion.

His name is Wolfariane Daminor Throne. The Alpha King of Naturiah.

"I can smell you. Find me before I find you, female." Voice deep like the fiercest ocean filled the air.

"Go away!" Ismena squeaked from the bathroom, where she'd hidden herself. He's not close to her, but she can practically hear him like he's whispering to her ear.

Gosh, the man scares the very devils outta her. And that's saying something because she doesn't scare easily.

"I can hear the racing of your heart. The quick shaky breaths you take. The smell of your fear is choking." The predator in him loves it. Nothing smells better than a prey's fear.

No, there's one thing that does smell better.

"What do you want from me!?" She shouted behind the door's thick heavy barricades.

"Found you." His deep voice was hard, yet it caressed her skin. His face was too close to hers. And yet, he is still scowling at her.

A pause. A harder scowl. "Do you know what smells better than fear?"

She has no idea what he means, but she managed to squeak, "What...?"

"Lust. Desire." He spat the words like it tastes bad, "The scent of your wetness is driving me insane. I can practically taste your hunger for my cock."

But then, he shocked them both—hell, even the poor equipments in her bathroom.

With a savage growl, his head lowered completely and his mouth crashed down to hers.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA.

The doctor stood beside Ismena's bed in his white scrubs and unruly gray hair. He has that look in his brown eyes that does NOT portray good news at all.

Ismena waited him out. No way in grand Hades is she gonna urge this man on when he's gonna give her bad news. He might as well take all the time in the world, she doesn't care.

Finally, he opened his mouth, "I'm sorry to say this, Ismena Cranes but you have something we call Coronary Heart Disease. Very complicated and tricky for only making itself known now that it's in the last stage. We have treatments that will keep you alive for a long time, but after running some tests, it turns out that you have strong allergies to the most important drugs among them. Your heart isn't responding to the other treatments we were hoping on."

"What are you saying, doctor?" Ismena doesn’t understand a thing at all.

He took a deep breath like he's preparing himself for the worst part before he opened his mouth again, "What I'm trying to explain is; you are in a very difficult situation. Heart diseases are very complicated, your heart can shut down any minute. I'm so sorry to say this to you, Miss Crane, but you have three months to live..."

All the other words and sounds that followed drowned out to her ears, except the ones that took root and refused to leave.

Three months...

Three months...!

Three months... THREE MONTHS!!!

She has three months to live.

Just three months. Three months...!

A week later, these words have become a mantra in her head, ringing like an abhorred tone that wouldn't change.

In the dark of the night, Ismena stood in front of her bedroom window, looking out to the full moon that dominated the night sky, making it more beautiful to gaze at.

She hasn't told her family about her visit to the doctor. Her poor mother will cry herself to the grave way before her three months is up. And her younger sister?

Valentina will be so depressed. Her sixteen-year-old sister—ten years younger than she is—might be very rebellious and annoying when she wants to be, but she's also a sweet girl that loves her older sister so much, even if she tries to hide it most of the time. Her father will be so sad and broken. Her father, who had to borrow from a lot of people to afford putting her through school and paying other bills.

Her poor family...

Tears prickled her eyes, but she blinked really hard, determined not to shed another tear about it. She'd cried non-stop three days after her visit to the hospital; she'd realized that crying does not solve a thing, except making her more miserable.

And now she's at home? It'll make her family very suspicious.

She has always been a cheerful person. More Smiles, More Kindness from life. That has always been her motto and it works for her. At least it used to.

She's a very happy person who wears a big smile on her face which, according to people around her, they say is very infectious. She believes in happiness.

After her visit to the doctor, she'd come back home to spend some more time with her family. Her homecoming is a surprise because her family knows how hard she works as a secretary to her jerk-boss in an agricultural company and how busy she always is.

They were most surprised that she got a month's leave from the office just to spend some time with them, but they are still very happy about it, so, they didn't question her sanity about her decision.

Her family has no idea their eldest daughter will be leaving this world at the age of twenty-six, after all her hard work to succeed in life.

As her eyes traced the moon and every star that surrounded it both the twinkling stars and the shooting star, Ismena made a decision then.

A list. She will make a list.

A list of everything she wants to do before she dies, and she will achieve everything on that list too. No way is she going to sit around waiting for the bitch to come calling in three months’ time, or even before.

She has a short time left on earth.

She might as well make good use of it.

KING'S TOWER, NATURIAH.

It is a full moon again.

"Yes, yes.... oh, yes!!" A female's scream of pleasure filled the air, followed by the sound of hard pounding. The slap of hips against hips so loud in the air, what's transpiring behind that closed door cannot be mistaken.

Alphose, Wolfariane's second-in-command, stood guard several feet away from the huge towering castle that is the King's abode, throwing worried glances at the building occasionally.

Alphose and a few other guards who are Cougars keep guard at the King's abode on full moon nights, because the other guards who are Werewolves have succumbed to the full moon.

To normal humans, it's just another beautiful night with a glowing moon up there, surrounded by twinkling stars. In Naturiah—especially in the Werewolf clan—it's all that and more.

A time for hunting and mating. When wolf-men have no control whatsoever and succumb to the basic needs of their animal.

Some, to hunt.

Some, to mate.

Especially to mate.

The wolf has taken over, wanting to be fed—to mate with females. To fuck. To dominate.

A mighty roar split the air as Wolfariane reached the pinnacles of pleasure and pain—again—followed by the screams of a woman who's riding out only pleasure. That is the fifth round of long hot sex, Alphose noted at the back of his mind.

Will it end here?

His question was answered when the sound of hips slapping hips began again, filling the air. This time around, even harder than the last time and he wasn't surprised.

Wolf-men are insatiable during the full moon. They hand-pick their full moon-partners who can match their appetite by their strength in battles.

The strongest Omega out of all Omegas—female wolves—always goes to Wolfariane, the King of Naturiah, before the other unmated Alphas choose theirs, and then, other wolf men.

Mated wolves have no need to choose any full moon partner. A plus for them.

Werewolves mate once in a lifetime. When they mate, they mate forever.

Every male werewolf's dream is to find his own mate. A woman made for him specially, who will belong to him forever. Sadly, finding their mates is never easy—some males have reached old age without being able to find their special female.

"Aaah! Oooooh...! Yeeeah...!" The Omega's screams made Alphose glance at Wolfariane's tower again. It wouldn't be long now before these screams change to pleas. Pleas to stop. Pleas of exhaustion. Pleas that always go unheeded.

After serving Wolfariane for more than ten years, Alphose learned that no matter how strong an Omega is, she is no match for Wolfariane's sexual hunger under the influence of the full moon.

No matter how many women that throw themselves at him and practically beg him to take them to his bed, they always reach that point during mating with him where they get tired and beg him to stop.

Their Alpha King is that ravenous. No woman can satisfy him under the full moon.

Sometimes, Alphose wonders what Wolfariane's mate will look like? For sure, she has to be Specie, not human. No human can handle the Alpha King.

Which specie will she come from?

What will be so special about her?

Here is a loaded question. Can she be able to handle their Alpha?

What kind of female will she be, to be made for a man like Wolfariane?

How strong will she be to be made for a man as powerful as Wolfariane?

Another deep howl splintered the air, followed by a high-pitched scream.

Then, the pleas began.

Hours later, during the wee hours of the morning, the full moon disappeared from the sky.

With the disappearance of the moon followed the mighty howl of release from a powerful alpha werewolf, and the loud roar of a mountain lion.

Then, blessed silence.

All from a man who does not desire a mate. Or a child.

All from a man that has the strength of many men. And more.
