Rejected.

You know those stories where a wolf is rejected by her family because she is a late shifter and also wolfless? Well, that's not even my story.

My name is Ember Fin, and I happen to be the third child of my late parents. My parents died in a ghastly motor accident, and since then, I have been forced to live the kind of life that I never wanted.

After the death of my parents, I and my siblings were taken in by our uncle, who was an Alpha of another pack. Immediately after my eighteenth birthday, I was rejected by them, because I was tagged as a wolf-less girl.

My uncle didn't just reject me, he equally sold me to an auctioneer. Now, I stand on this line of pain and humiliation, while heading to the stage to be sold. I just hope that I get to be purchased by a good person.

"Ouch!" I screamed as I hit my right foot, on a metal barricade along the way.

Who cared about me? Well, absolutely no one.

"I already told you that we would have a lot of these beautiful wolf-less toys for you to choose from. Take a look at this one." He said and immediately dragged my hands with him to the stage.

What was wrong with this man?

Unfortunately, I was already tired and exhausted, as a result of all the beating and hunger that I had been forced to endure, earlier.

Weakly, I tried to struggle with the man to set me free, but it wasn't even possible.

"She is equally a virgin, and you'd enjoy her to the fullest." He went further, and the crowd burst out in laughter.

These bunch of horny and miserable men, who didn't want to help me in any way. Well, the only thing that they enjoyed doing, was preying on the vulnerability of younger girls.

"Let me be! I'm not a toy!" I yelled at him with my last strength, and once again, they all started laughing.

What was even funny?

Well, I just couldn't bear it again, so I bit his hand with all the strength in me.

"Ah! My hand! You mad girl!" He shouted in anger and threw another heavy punch at me. Well, no matter the pain that I was going to receive from him or anyone else, I wasn't going to back down without a fight.

The audience continued to stare at me, and that further provoked me the more. Of all these men sitting in this hall, none of them were even willing to help me.

"This little wolf girl is very fertile. She has the tendency of giving you a battalion of wolves, and increasing your number of offsprings." He announced to them, and I fell back to the ground in tears.

It was just very true that I couldn't do anything to help myself on that stage, rather than lying down on the ground, and waiting patiently for my fate to be determined.

"Oh, moon goddess! Do not forsake me at this moment." I mumbled weakly in prayer. I just didn't know any other thing that I could say or do at that very moment, as my fate was in their hands.

I knew for sure that most of those men were very ruthless, but I just prayed that a miracle would happen somehow.

Just then, the actual auction began. Basically, it meant that one of them was going to take me home later that evening. I was even pained because if my parents were alive, I wouldn't have been subjected to the kind of pain that I was going through at that very moment.

"So, it's time for the event proper. Are we ready?" The emcee asked the men, and they nodded in anticipation.

I was in a very helpless state, as most of them stared at me lustfully.

"We're ready! Just begin immediately." A man from the front seat yelled at the master of the ceremony, and all of them started laughing again.

To be honest, I didn't find any of their actions even funny in any way. It looked very disgusting to me.

"Who would be the first bidder?" He asked no one in particular.

At this point, my vision was already very blurry, as I struggled very hard to stay awake and know what was happening to me. Truth be told, I was already exhausted that I just couldn't help but wonder what my destiny was going to be.

I forced myself to look up like I was going to see the moon goddess. I wanted to ask her if that was the destiny that she had designed for me. To suffer, and keep suffering.

"Twenty thousand dollars." The first voice started. I looked down in tears, as I wondered what I had done wrong that made me become an object of caricature.

"Wow! That's a great start!" The emcee announced.

"Fifty thousand dollars." Another voice from the audience bargained. I knew that I wasn't going to do anything to help myself, as it was already obvious that my fate was to be sold as a slave or instrument to my supposed master.

Well, maybe, that was how the moon goddess had created me to be. Who knows?

"Seventy..." Another voice came.

"One hundred thousand dollars." Yet another voice from the audience.

At that moment, something entered into my mind. How would these men even spend that amount in purchasing someone else? Didn't they know what to do with their money?

"A hundred and twenty!" Another voice from the audience.

I laid still in that exact position, unsure of what my fate was going to be.

"Five million dollars!" A thick baritone voice said from the back of the door, and the whole atmosphere dropped dead silent. I was even more surprised by who the man could be.

Who was he?

Immediately he made that proclamation, no other bidder said any other thing.

"Gentlemen, we've reached the end of today's auction." He said to the crowd, as they murmured inaudible words in silence.

At this very point, my fate was uncertain.

"You've been sold to Alpha Dino Roman Moscow !" The auctioneer whispered into my ears.
