I like Fierce women

On a tall chair, a man of dark complexion was seated. He was none other than Lord Apollyon, the Lord of Devils, who was now the King of Azuria Kingdom. The fringes on his head were braided and golden beads were put on each braid's end.

Apollyon looked busy reading a scroll. He had decided to let the humans be a part of the administration in Azuria. However, the devils would have the upper hand on them. Azuria had grown with prosperity after it came under the rules of the Devils.

He put the stamp on the scroll and placed it away on the table.

"The neighboring Kingdom King Conrad had sent a message for His Majesty," Karin informed him.

"Read!" Apollyon said.

"Greetings to King Apollyon,

This is King Conrad of the Kingdom of Obrason. To strengthen the relationship between the two kingdoms, I offer my daughter's hand in the marriage to King Apollyon. With this marriage, the political relationship between the two kingdoms will strengthen. I will love to hear from King Apollyon and will wait for his answer."

Karin folded the scroll and put his hand down. "Your Majesty, it is a great opportunity to have our hands on the Kingdom of Obrason," Karin said with a smile.

"Conrad knows that I was going to take away his kingdom from him, so he decided to go with a political marriage. Refuse him. I am not interested in his daughter. I already have someone," Apollyon ordered Karin, who was bewildered to hear his lord.

"Pardon me, Your Majesty. But may I know about the woman?" Karin asked with curiosity.

"Lilith," Apollyon answered.

"That woman!" Karin was shocked to hear it. When he saw Apollyon's glare at him, he apologized. "She is impudent in her acts, Your Majesty. She even used a dagger on me and called My Lord's name. Such a woman isn't worthy to be the wife of My Lord," Karin opined and showed his hand to Apollyon.

"I like fierce women," Apollyon answered. "Also, I didn't ask your opinions regarding my wife. Next time be thoughtful of what you say." His tone was stern and firm. Karin apologized to him.

"How is the investigation going on the mysterious death of Sauron?" Apollyon questioned and leaned back on the tall chair.

"It is the same spell that was used to seal us, devils, thousands of years ago," Karin answered. Apollyon nodded and clasped his fingers together.

"Your Majesty, how did we get freed?" Karin asked.

"Does it matter?" Apollyon questioned him back, who looked perplexed. "I woke up and that was enough for the devils," he stated. "Send the message to Conrad that he must surrender to us. I won't accept his daughter in the marriage. So, he must step down as the King," Apollyon instructed Karin, who bowed and walked away.

Lilith finished her breakfast in silence. She had attempted to persuade Zoey to take her to Apollyon, but her knowledge about him was limited.

"Miss Lilith, I've recently been assigned to the inner palace. Previously, I worked in the outer palace. As I mentioned earlier, His Majesty would punish me severely if I allowed you to leave," Zoey replied calmly. Lilith ceased her efforts, realizing she had no other option but to wait.

After a pause, she inquired, "Do you know Karin?"

"Yes, Miss Lilith. Master Karin is the right-hand man of His Majesty," Zoey answered. Lilith realized that Karin was a devil too. He flicked her forehead, and she fell unconscious. After she kills Apollyon, she tries her best to kill Karin too. She wanted a dagger to be on the safe side. She had yet to see the Lord of Devils.

If Karin could make her unconscious with one flick of the finger, then Apollyon must be stronger than him. But she wasn’t afraid at all. Someone must pay for her father’s death, even he is a devil himself.

"Does Apollyon occasionally take lives?" Lilith asked, continuing her quest for information.

"If someone manages to anger His Majesty, then yes," Zoey responded.

However, Zoey quickly cautioned Lilith, saying, "Miss Lilith, it's best not to mention His Majesty's name. Speaking it may incur his wrath."

Lilith chuckled and slammed her hands on the round circular table. "Who is afraid of him? I am not. He is not the King in my eyes. He murdered the previous King and his family to take over the Kingdom. I will kill him and free the people from his fear," Lilith pronounced. Zoey was astonished to hear the words of Lilith. No one ever dared to talk about Apollyon this way. The thought of it sent shivers down her body.

Zoey didn't want Lilith to lose her life, so she decided to make Lilith understand. After all, they were humans and had to remain quiet under the rule of Devils.

However, before she could speak, the giant door opened. Lilith and Zoey turned to look towards the door.
