Chapter 1

Anna's heart raced with excitement as she hailed a cab on the bustling city street. She was dressed to impress, wearing a stunning red dress and her hair styled perfectly. She had planned the perfect surprise for her boyfriend's birthday, and she couldn't wait to see the look on his face.

As the cab pulled up, Anna gave the driver the address and settled in for the short ride. She had decided not to call ahead, wanting the surprise to be a complete shock. She imagined the look of delight on his face when she walked in, and her heart skipped a beat at the thought.

The cab pulled up to the building, and Anna paid the driver before stepping out onto the sidewalk. She took a deep breath, smoothed her dress, and walked into the building. Her heels clicked on the marble floor as she made her way to the elevator.

As she rode up to his floor, Anna's excitement grew. She couldn't wait to see her boyfriend and celebrate his special day. Little did she know, her world was about to be turned upside down.

As Anna stepped into the apartment, she was enveloped by an eerie silence, punctuated only by the faint whispers of a suspicious melody. Her curiosity piqued, she wandered towards the living room, her stilettos clicking against the polished floor like a ticking time bomb. The air was heavy with an unsettling energy, and Anna's heart raced with a sense of foreboding.

"What's going on?" she wondered aloud, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart.

As she approached the bedroom door, the strange sounds grew louder, taking on a life of their own. Anna's mind raced with worst-case scenarios, her imagination running wild with visions of her boyfriend entwined in a passionate embrace with another woman.

"No, no, no," she whispered, her eyes fixed on the door as if willing it to disappear.

With a deep breath, Anna pushed open the door, and her world came crashing down around her.

"Ah, ah, Laila!" her boyfriend's voice was husky with pleasure, his words dripping with deceit.

Anna's eyes widened in horror as she took in the scene before her - her boyfriend and her best friend, Laila, entwined in a passionate embrace, their bodies moving in perfect synchrony.

"Anna!" Laila's voice was laced with guilt, her eyes wide with shock.

"Get out!" Anna's voice was a barely contained scream, her eyes blazing with fury.

The room seemed to spin around her, the sounds of their betrayal echoing in her mind like a cruel mantra. Anna's heart shattered into a million pieces, her world reduced to rubble in an instant.

Laila and Jason burst out laughing, their eyes mocking Anna's naivety.

"Oh, Anna, you're so cute!" Laila sneered. "You thought you were saving yourself for marriage? How quaint!"

"Which era do you think you're from, Anna?" Jason chimed in, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "The Dark Ages?"

Anna's face burned with shame and humiliation. She felt like she was being stripped naked, her vulnerability exposed for all to see.

"You're a joke, Anna," Jason continued, his words cutting deep. "A relic of the past. No wonder you're still a virgin - no one wants you!"

Laila giggled, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Yeah, Anna, you're like a fossil from the Stone Age. Who waits till marriage anymore?"

Anna's eyes welled up with tears as she felt the weight of their ridicule. She was a laughingstock, a pitiful creature to be mocked and scorned.

"Get out, Anna," Jason sneered, his face twisted in disgust. "No one wants you here. You're a pathetic little virgin who can't even get laid."

Laila's laughter echoed through the room, a cruel and heartless sound that pierced Anna's soul.

Anna's tears spilled over, her body shaking with sobs. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of humiliation, unable to escape the cruel words that pierced her heart.

Laila's laughter echoed through the room, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Oh, Anna, you're so pathetic! You've been working your ass off, thinking you're so righteous, while I've been satisfying your boyfriend for you! And now, I'm the new girlfriend, and you're just a joke!"

Anna's face burned with shame and humiliation. "Laila, how could you?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

Laila sneered. "How could I? You mean how could I steal your boyfriend, your virginity, and your dignity all in one go? Easy, Anna, because you're a weak little girl who doesn't know how to keep a man satisfied!"

Jason chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Yeah, Anna, you're just a relic of the past. No one wants a virgin like you. I upgraded to a real woman, Laila!"

Laila's laughter grew louder, her words cutting deeper. "You're just a joke, Anna! A pitiful little virgin who can't even keep her boyfriend satisfied! I'm the one who's got it all, and you're just a footnote in our story!"

Anna's tears fell like rain, her heart shattered into a million pieces. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of humiliation, unable to escape the cruel words that pierced her soul.

"Get out!" Jason yelled again, his voice echoing off the walls.

Anna turned and ran, her heels clicking on the floor as she fled the apartment. She didn't stop until she was out on the street, gasping for air as she hailed a cab.

As she rode away from the nightmare, Anna's mind reeled with shock and pain. She felt like she'd been living in a dream, a dream that had just been shattered into a million pieces.

The cab driver's voice broke through her haze. "Hey, miss, you okay? You look like you've lost your last friend."

Anna nodded, unable to speak. She was lost, alone, and adrift in a world that seemed to have no mercy.

The driver's words echoed in her mind as she stumbled through the next few hours. She felt like she'd lost her last friend, her last shred of dignity.

As the sun set over the city, Anna found herself at a small park, sitting on a bench, and staring blankly into space. She was a virgin, a relic of the past, a joke.

And in that moment, Anna realized that she had a choice to make. She could let the cruel words of others define her, or she could rise up and define herself.

But as she sat there, surrounded by the darkness of night, Anna wondered if she had the strength to rise again.
