4- Jhan is back yo bussiness

Jhan, staring at Jade started to talk with her about his holidays in Mexico.

"I know what women want to have a family, especially when you live for a while in Mexico, such a macho country.” Jade laughs.

“I don’t think all men in Mexico are macho, it’s like saying all Arab women are submissive. We should never generalize.” Jade says, raising an eyebrow.

The three of them laugh. Jade dances around Jhan Paul, shaking her shoulders and clapping. Suddenly the atmosphere is filled with joy, the birds are singing.

“I’m so happy! I can’t wait to travel with the girls! To leave this behind and go far away… I can’t wait!” We will take the girls to the best dance competitions” Jade assures.

“Umhum... and there are still three months left, so don’t let the cravings get the better of them.”

“As soon as we hand over all the drugs and herbs, they will pay us and we will travel freely around the world, it’s a fact.” Jhan Paul says, and exchanges a look with Everth.

They both look each other directly in the eyes in a serious, intense way, as if they were closing a deal with word of honor only with that look between men.

Jade observes the way her boyfriend looks at his best friend, and intrigued and with a furious tone she asks:

“Three months?”

“That’s how long it will take for the new habibi herb to be ready.” Everth explains. Jade blinks slowly. She squints her eyes upwards, staring at Everth and frowns slightly. “The new grass? What do you mean?” Jade asks. Everth then grabs her by the waist in a loving gesture, but she lets go of his arms and looks him straight in the eyes. Her black eyes are filled with fury, with intensity. “You said you were going to get out of this black mafia and drug trafficking business that is so dangerous. You said that it wasn't in line with our values to create the life we want to have," Jade says.

"Habibi, it's true, this will be our last business," Everth says. "A business that will last three more months... oh no, sorry, you've been doing this business for five years, the same business for five years and three months. It seems like a marriage, but it's hard to do the paperwork to separate, right?" Jade says, furious.

Everth sighs. "Habibi, I promise that this will be the last time we do this kind of business," Everth explains. His tone of voice sounds like a plea, he deeply loves his Lebanese storm and does not want to argue with her. But Jade is exasperated and doesn't listen to her boyfriend's explanations. "You said that they were looking for this package in Mexico and that we wouldn't sell to Mexico anymore."

"Oh Jade... it's not that easy to get away from Nando's. He ordered 10kg to distribute in the USA and after giving it to him he'll be happier." Jhan explained softly, walked over to Jade and took her by the face, looking at her with deep tenderness.

"He's dangerous. He's dangerous. That man is dangerous and you want to sell him more weed. He fell in love with us!" says Jade.

"Habibi... love... Jade trusts me..." repeats Everth.

"Do you want to die? “She says in a small voice that sounds sad, very sad. “Do you want them to kill us all?”

“Oh, don’t be dramatic...” says Everth and

sighs.

“Dramatic… drama?

You think it’s drama, it’s not

drama. I’m going to object if you want us to

kill all of us.”

Jade brings both hands to her temple, pushes her hair back. Everth presses his lips

until his chin turns red, lowers his gaze and

looks away from Jade. She lunges at Everth and

Jhan Paul grabs her by the chest, wrapping his arm

around her.

“I object, I’m going to object if you want us to

kill all of us! You’ll kill us all!” She screams vehemently and in a fragile tone.

“Jade... calm down.

Calm down. Quiet. Quiet. Quiet now.” Jhan Paul says. Jade breaks free from Jhan Paul’s arms, pushing him aside with her elbows, adjusts her green bra, and brushes her hair out of her face.

“Oh Jhan... don’t you realize what Everth is doing? Because of his greed... My God! Don’t you realize that he’s using you like a pawn?”

Rolling his eyes, Everth approaches her, then looks at her with disdain and at the same time finds her irresistibly attractive:

“You can’t be talked to, Gazella... You don’t understand anything. Jhan

tried to leave but

had no choice. Nando was already

counting on us for this quarter of the year. If he

left we would destroy all his businesses and then he

would kill us without mercy.” Everth says.

“He will also count on us for the next

four months. Oh Everth... he

likes that you are so good looking, so professional,

that you don't have a criminal record... But I

tell you one thing” says Jade.

Jade points at Everth with her index finger, raises her

chin and swallows. She speaks again,

breathing calmly.

“If you continue with him you will

have a criminal record faster than you can

imagine.
