Chapter 1 Marrying the Billionaire Heir

"Isabella Neville, marry George or you're out!" her dad, Lucas Jones, threatened.

Isabella sneered, "I'm not marrying George. He's a vegetable."

Lucas, furious, yelled, "You have to obey me! Marrying George is a good choice for you. He's the heir to a billionaire fortune. If I hadn't begged, you wouldn't even have this chance."

Isabella shot back, "I don't want this 'chance.' You say it's for my good, but it's because Clara's too promiscuous and the Spencer family despises her, so you thought of me."

Clara Jones, Isabella's half-sister.

Lucas's face twisted in anger, "If you refuse, I'll sell your mom's house, and stop Oliver's treatment. Just you choose."

Oliver Neville, Isabella's younger brother, was her top priority.

"You're despicable! How can you use Oliver to threaten me? He's also your son. Are you even human?" Isabella's eyes burned with suppressed rage.

To her, Lucas was not a father, but a demon.

"The family has declined. There's no money for Oliver's treatment. If you don't want him to suffer, you must marry George," Lucas continued his threats.

"You're vile!" Isabella clenched her fists, her knuckles cracking, but she felt no pain. She gave Lucas a cold look and said, "I'll think about it."

"George is the heir to the Spencer family, a super-rich family with businesses everywhere. Marry him, and you'll have all the money you want."

Isabella fell silent. George was also very handsome and charming, with no scandals despite many women around him.

She thought, 'Lucas is right. If George hadn't become a vegetable, I wouldn't have this chance. He's rich, handsome, and sexy. But I care more about feelings. Without them, it's just a transaction. Still, I can't completely refuse.'

Stepping out of the Jones family, Isabella took a deep breath, trying to shake off the suffocating bad news.

"From afar, I could smell the stench of dirt. It turns out there's a bumpkin here," a mocking voice came from a sports car parked nearby. Isabella watched coldly as a man and a woman stepped out of the bright yellow car.

The woman was Clara, her sister, and the man was Simon Davis, a noble from Stellar City.

Clara, with a gloating smile, said, "I heard Lucas wants you to marry into the Spencer family, and you don't want to? He's doing it for your own good. Otherwise, you'll end up a beggar."

Clara had always been jealous of Isabella. When Donna Turner, Clara's mother, was just a mistress, Isabella was showered with love, while Clara was the lowly illegitimate child, envious of Isabella's privileged life.

For ten years, Clara lived in hatred and pain.

An accident took Isabella's mother, Hazel Neville, away. Donna became Lucas's wife, and Clara became the favored daughter of the Jones family.

Isabella, without Hazel's protection, was sent to the countryside and fell into poverty.

Simon Davis was stunned when he saw Isabella.

'I heard from Clara that Isabella is a bumpkin, ugly, fat, and tawdry. But the Isabella in front of me is stunningly beautiful with a perfect, sexy figure. Clara must have lied to me,' he thought.
